  1. Very nice contrast between the wooden sections and the suitably textured stone sections. The landscaping in general is also great, but my very favorite part in this build is the hot spring! You are by the way carving out quite a niche here at GoH with great-looking highly detailed towers, at least judging by your signature
  2. Very nice trees, especially the trunks! Can't help thinking that its quite ironic to use hundreds of axes to build a tree
  3. (Didn't I comment on this already??) Great to see the Resistance forming! Looking forward to following this story Maybe Barqa will have a role to play in this as well...? Regarding the builds I think the tiles on the walls of the interior build look very good, and the gate has a suitable Kaliphlin grandeur to it!
  4. Cute cottage and great landscaping Gives me a feeling of a place on the west coast of Ireland.
  5. Kaliphlin (and a couple of other guilds) were represented at the Swebrick 2016 event in Halmstad, Sweden last weekend! A few GoH members were there, most notably Rolli (nice of you to travel all the way to Sweden for our event!) and also Etzel, Odidoma, Mechamike and possibly someone else I've forgot to mention? 6. Very nice build, this would certainly fit as one of the gates of Petraea! I like both the overall appearance and the details Is it droid arms you've used between the curved parts beside the gate? I always like when both sides of a non-rectilinear structure is presentable
  7. This build in all it's seasons is fantastic, and the concept itself is brilliant You are still the master of snowy castles however
  8. Weird, I remember very well when I did it (while waiting for a test to progress at work ) and I wrote location: "Breshaun, LeBellan". Anyway, I've made another attempt...I can live without the 2 db for February I missed
  9. Sounds like there is a case of delegating parts of this to other BoBS game masters or automating it more in the future to keep this sustainable in the long run?
  10. Since my "next monthly income" field is empty, does that mean that there was some error when I licensed my small house? And my total seems to be missing my contest score?
  11. Looks very suitable for this setting
  12. Has there been any suggestions for a name for our new island?
  13. And that should go for all builds, for all guilds (in their respective threads) and also for challenge builds (although they won't get freebuild points, if such are even handed out?). Maybe the quarterly thread should be "build registration" instead...?
  14. In character I must of course agree that any economic or military advantages are second to the importance of that an island where the Gods may have a strong presence doesn't fall into the hands of the infidels!
  15. I will "rent" this ship (for a portion of the earnings) and underlicense it as my free 2F for the time being until I can pay for it's proper license as the 4T it really is.
  16. It wouldn't be bad if there was a thread where each builder maintained an index post of his/her builds similar to the freebuild thread, but without limitation to a certain time. Any collabs among those could be indexed by linking to the other participants builds as well. It would be a lot of links but if each builder was responsible for the own index it would not be too much work for anyone.
  17. Very nice to see an older ship, and you have a suitable backstory for it I didn't even know that LDD could model bent hoses!
  18. Great work putting this excellent ship together in such a short time! With my limited knowledge of sailing ships I think it looks very well proportioned and with a suitable level of details. What is the significance of the croissant in the hand of the figurehead...? In character: With the blessings of Poseidon this ship will surely aid in bringing home the treasures of the new world, for the glory of the Gods and for the glory of mighty Oleon!
  19. Lovely ship, great to see the Oleander fleet growing!
  20. Impressive in so many ways! I love the landscaping and you've also created some very nice and recognizeable buildings
  21. Excellent build overall, and many nice details My favorite detail is probably the drawers on the desk. A piece of photography advice is that when you intend to remove the backbground it is a god idea to have something similar in color behind the build to avoid the "halo" of another color (in this case black or at least dark). It is also adviceable to soften or "feather" the edges a few pixels, particularly on areas which are out of focus to avoid the sharp cut look of the edges. But by far the least amount of work is to have a decent smooth background to start with so that background removal becomes unnecessary
  22. A: 1 point each to Halhi 141, Captain Flint and Kai NRG B: 1 point each to LordDan, Soccerkid and Blufiji C: 1 point each to LittleJohn, Simon S and Jacob Nion
  23. Thanks for getting my hopes up a little bit at least I think a lot of people booked cabins already in Skaerbaek in September 2015, at the end of the event all cabins were already booked for the event in 2016! But I agree that it is off topic. On topic is that it would be great if BoBS was well represented at such an illustrious gathering of AFOLs!
  24. I'm not sure I'll be able to go to Skaerbaek this year, apparently all cabins are already booked! But if someone has (or knows someone else who has?) a bed in their cabin yet to be booked I would be very grateful if I could reserve it and will bring some BoBS MOCs
  25. Incredible build! That road is very innovative and the buildings are lovely Good job creating a busy atmosphere with the figures also!
