Gheo-rescue
TinkerBrick replied to nerdsforprez's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Wow. it makes a Defender or Hummvee look quite tiny. I like the add-on. -
I like it a lot. Nice presentation, you put a lot of effort in documenting it and taking pictures.

[TC5] Baja SAE Racer
TinkerBrick replied to BusterHaus's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Great job - looks like an official model. Kind of like the small pull back sets are meant to be joint for a c-model. -
[WIP] Dump Truck
TinkerBrick replied to Rishab N's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
About two of three years ago i tried to incorporate a fifth steers axle in an RC 8258. The problem I ran into was that having no suspension and the last axle being not powered the truck stopped at that slightest bump (trying to driv onto a small carpet. The poweed axles 3&4 were lifted off the ground and the whole thing got stuck. Thus I would recommend a 4 axle setup with the 4th axle being steered and having some kind of suspension. -
[MOD] 42025 Black Ops
TinkerBrick replied to Eigenbroetler's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Looks Great. I like the white version as well, but this Black Ops scheme is somewhat cool. Have you got any other ideas for mods. -

There is already a thread for this topic. You might want to look it up/use the search function. -
[MT] VW T1 Dragster

I love it. Great job and a really original approach towards a MT dragster with a function. -
They won't ask. You can order online: https://service.lego.com/en-gb/replacementparts#WhatStore Select "I want to buy pieces" than the "Bricks and Pieces selection". Afterwards you can enter a set number to see the inventory or supply the part/design number: Element ID 6055632 Design ID 15265. You can shop for pieces from various sets. I recommend to finish the ordering process once started-after 15min or so the shopping basket is cleared automatically as the process is being aborted.

I got myself the Snow mobile and the Cargo plane earlier this year. And the twin rotor helicopter for adding a 3rd and 4th engine to the plane. I won't be buying the 2H/2014 sets. I got some parts from the customer service to build those for my existing inventory (the loader resides on my desk for 4 weeks now).

Looks interesting. Do i understand it in the right way, that this if developed further would provide the possibility to let a complex PF creation be controlled by an audio file like: drive - turn - brake - turn- reverse? Could for example an enormous amount of LED by synced to a music song?

Nice review. I got this set around febuary or so. Mostly for this pieces, but it turned out to be a rather we'll designed set.

Great MOC. Exceptional work. The sync between lift and door is cool. Have you thought about about implementing some sort of folding mechanism for the "fork". The truck that comes around my office every so often folds the handles upright.

Those "wing" panels are bionicle parts according the bricklink: http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=60935 But it's the first time I actually see them. Nice part for a small plane. And the "normal" panels should be perfect for a silver super car. Here are the parts on BL: Inventory of 76021: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=76021-1 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=64683 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=64391 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=64392 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=64682

Not bad at all for a first MOC. The steering mechanism is brilliant-almost overlooked the link going the the front fork. I found two images: http://www.fahrzeugbilder.de/1024/bmw-r12-mit-beiwagen-bj1938750ccm-33542.jpg And http://www.breindl-grope.de/images/OMEGAPROJEKTE/BMR12ROYAL04.JPG Sorry for not deep linking, couldn't figure how to do it on an iPad.

I build this thing about two weeks ago, but from parts I already had in my inventory. Now I'm waiting for the bucket and the stickers to arrive from TLG customer support. I haven't had time for a real stress test yet. But i think this model could really show its class with a SmartBrick. Driving and steering with the gyros of a smart phone and operating the bucket with touch control.

Motorized AT-TE
TinkerBrick replied to Smitty500's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Great walker. The speed is totally OK - these things are no sprinters. Is it possible to steer it? Could you post a belly shot? Excellent work so far!
