  1. Great looks. You should make and apply some stickers either International Red Cross or United Nations. The white colour kind of asks for it.
  2. Last year, I only bought one 41999 when it was available.
  3. Excactly, this flagship (loader) is not for me since I already have all those parts and PF-stuff and I'll get the bucket from BrickLink.
  4. I Never wished for longer pneumatic rams/cylinders and a more precise control for pneumatic elements. It's really easy to address a linear actuator with a long and "curved" drivetrain.
  5. Brilliant! I would have thought about this kind of use. So simple in some ways, my first thought would have been mind storms to accomplish this function.
  6. @nagybirek Your project Looks interesting. You should start a new topic for this crane.
  7. The cab is beautiful. Way better than the original one. And: We want instructions! We want instructions! Edit: Could you post your LDD files?
  8. Looks promising. Could you provide a closeup of your hub/portal axle. Does it have planetary gear reduction in the hubs?
  9. The L-Motor provides plenty of power. An XL would be do no better.
  10. I just realized these are Unimog wheels and that the size is huge. Make sure you take a look at his flikr stream for details. The engine (video included) and its mounting is just like the real thing. I think i saw this on WheelersDealers some time ago.
  11. I just stumbled upon this on a Mac News site. This guy build a machine to repeatedly and continuously tap his iPad to keep a freemium game active. It seems as he is using a simple excenter wheel to lift and lower the tapping arm. I especially like the aluminum foil for providing conductivity for the touch. The iPad is set on old style tires and moved left and right. The builder uses this to earn the in-game currency overnight, so he can spend it in the morning not having to pay "hard" money. I think it's brilliant. Having twice the fun (Gaming & LEGO) and "screwing" those annoying needs to earn in-game currencies to make some progress in the game.
  12. Great. Were you able to open it by hand than? What happened to your first cocnutcracker (the one with the ram). Was it working?
  13. Quite ambitious - can't wait to the results. I found this on Brickshelf some time ago: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=discobol
  14. Alhough i'm not from Berlin - i stumbled upon this ad a couple days ago. https://www.sadk-berlin.de It seems to be a store focused on our favorite brick manufacturer offering new and used sets and bricks. Another address could be the real,- Supermarkets. From time to time they offer interesting discounts.
  15. The use of gears is possible, but try some ordinarily household rubber bands first.
  16. Looks great. Do you happen to have a short video? Can wait to built it - so i second the plead for instructions. The MKII ones were great.
  17. It's a power functions Extension wire. Just look it. up in the corresponding catalogue category.
  18. @Alcatrax For parts (lift arms, gears, pins panels etc) go to BrickLink.com The electrics (power function motors, remotes, receivers.etc) Legos online store Shop@Home (lego.com) is the cheapest imo.
  19. The boxing won't be a problem - it gets delivered like this:
  20. Great Job. The bodywork is fantastic. The wheels looks a bit small (diameter wise), unless you intended it to look like the chassis was lowered.
  21. Looks promising. I built your great SL MKII a three weeks ago. Have you altered the bucket geometry? It would be great to see some more WIP pictures. Looking foreword to the final design.
  22. @ Theo I don't know why this code didn't work. I found it on http://gutscheine.focus.de/gutscheine/karstadt It was the first option on the list. Maybe you should you try to redeem a new coupon from this website and give it another try. Worked for me. As orders from NL - store terms say no - only delivers and invoices to domestic german addresses. Bummer...
  23. I just ordered the 42025 cargo plane for 84.99€ at www.karstadt.de. The price was discounted to 99.99€ minus 15€ online coupon code ( 14q1kde75 valid until March 31st) with free shipping.
