  1. Well, it's a Beetle then. The size is impressive, but imho that's about the only thing based and what I saw up to this moment. I don't see anything interesting. No realistic steering. I doubt it to be RC, at least what driving is concerned. The problem is, that the PF motors would be strong enough to move it. But the known parts wouldn't be able to stand the momentum/impulse during acceleration/braking.
  2. I don't know what to say. Is there any detail I didn't possibly think of? It's mind blowing creation. I believe i would speak for all the readers off this thread, that your RV deserves a place in the Hall of Fame and has to be put on the Front page. I draw my hat.
  3. Impressive. Great functionality, nice colour scheme. Only the lifting mechanism is somewhat bulky, but I think you managed it to make it as compact as possible. The B-model looks like it could have been a real cherry picker during the 1960s in North America. I would buy you set in a price range of 39,99-54.99€. It is far better than this years mining loader.
  4. Wow, just wow. This is impressive.bthanks for your effort and sharing your creation with us. For me, I can assure you, it is most welcome. My Unimog is resting rather sadly on the top shelf, waiting to be finished. I was able to implement a working 3 way tipping bed about 15 month ago ( actually based on your post in the long 8110 thread). But I was never inspired enough to find a solution to fit all my ideas in its belly (dual auto compressor with tank, small bb, separate motor for the pto). I'll take you post as an impulse to finally finish it.
  5. I thought about this and the state of power function during last couple hours. If I compare it to the development of digital controls for model railroads, I must say LEGO Power Functions and Mindstorms are still kind of analogue. The motors are connected to the controllers by cable ports. Of course the need power. But in order to controls he motors independently each motor has to be physically assigned to a specific port. Why? The motors should be able to receive a unique address from the controller, stored on a small chip within the motor. The motors always have full power, only the chips tells them run at speed x. The power cable could be stacked on top of each other. This would allow to reduce the controller size. You would need 2 or 4 ports. Just one control brick sized 2x2x6. The PF cables should be able to transmit those signals, they've got 4 wires.
  6. This is the shopping site for the new WeDo US Version: https://shop.education.lego.com/legoed/en-US/search/navSearchResults.jsp?categoryId=cat600004&ProductLine=WeDo-2 German Version: https://shop.education.lego.com/legoed/de-DE/search/navSearchResults.jsp?gradeLevels=Grundschule&parentCategories=cat600004
  7. I like the hot rod. IMHO it is better to have A&B model from completely different categories. Makes it more fun.
  8. This Looks looks like it could have been a recently published official set. Fantastic looks and neat suspension features.
  9. I finished building the excellent MOC last night. First many Thanks to Sheepo and Blakbird for creating and sharing instructions for the amazing machine. If you think about building it - be warned - it is enonomous. Once you add the fuselage and the rotor blades - a normal desk might be to small. I had to alter mine a bit since i was missing those blue panels. So i replaced blue by black and a bit DBG. I was also missing a LiPo-Battery so i used the standard AAA BB and an IR-Receiver to control the rotor speed. The Kamov weighs quite a lot, the super hard Unimog shocks are struggeling and the main gear bends under the weight. Here a few pictures of my version: There are a few more pictures in my BrickSafe. To sum it up: it is a great MOC. The Instructions are great (and free). The rotor head with its swash plates is ingenious.
  10. I built Jurgens LinkBelt quite a while ago. Unfortunately, i could not do it in white and red due to lack of specific parts in those colours. So i made it yellow and black. I hope you like it. A few more pictures are available in my BrickSafe.
  11. Happy New Year pals and happy building. May the bricks be with you in 2016.
  12. What a fun toy!
  13. Great job on managing to stuff all those functions in this small space. However, could you by chance supply a drawing of the technical and pneumatic setup. I have to admit, I just do not understand it.
  14. I'd keep 8 and sell the rest and spent the bucks on new sets.
  15. Cool body work. Fast. Great colour scheme.
  16. Still looking good. The feature for disengaging the header is the icing on the cake.
  17. Nice truck. I like the scale. Using the small rims for the exhaust pipes works great.
  18. Looks really good. I'd shorten the header width a bit. Have you considers make some kind of trailer for the header. Would be a great way to put those wheels for the M- model in use. 19. Christmas Eve stocked clearance at Metro in Erfurt, Germany: 40% on LEGO including already discounted prices. Got myself a 43030 for 100€.
  20. Looks good and performance wise it is more than acceptable. Those Mindstorm servos seem really powerful.
  21. Beautiful. Well photographed.
  22. @Sariel: Get legal advice. Submit a Copyright infringement suit or send him a cease and desist letter. @Blackbird: you really offering him your Lego room as a refuge? I'll probably take apart all the models from your shelfs and turn them into a new amazing, ginormous MOC. ;-)
  23. First impression: that guy was drunk. I mean like really drunk. It is easy to say 'Ignore those trolls'. But I know it must be nagging oneself. I appreciate it a lot how you and your hamsters contribute to the community. Btw, isn't there some kind of 'Block' button to get rid of him.
  24. Give Customer Service a call. I did that at some time in August. Most of the parts a available if you call the by phone. The parts where listed but not yet priced back then. So the agent sent me one whole pneumatics back for free. :classic: Guess she didn't want me to cancel my 50€ parts order. The cylinders were in stock in the LegoLand Günzburg factory store for 7€ (thin cylinder) and 9€ the large one.
