  1. Now this is a rather unusal C-Model. Congrats for being able to think around corners. Have you tried to make the propeller spin by powering it from a wheel on the ground as the MOC is pushed over the floor? Like on the fire plane.
  2. Fellow builders, I am looking for 3rd party tires as an alternative for the ultra expensive Model Team Black Cat Tire 68.8 x 24 / BL# 32003. I am just not willing to pay 17€ for a tire (the price for the rims not included). An ideal solution would be a a 69-70mm tire fitting the Wheel 43.2mm D. x 18mm. By chance, did anybody ran into a possible product?
  3. Quite recognizable as an Unimog. Impressive how you managed to squeeze everything in there.
  4. As i am just building the 8285 - compared to the 8258 it is rather dull. The 8258 has a great European design. The 42043 is more or less its successor. The Unimog is in a league of its own. Not just size wise. It is an ideal base for modding and adding all kind of attachments.
  5. Great and complex machine. Of What material are those bars made of?
  6. Nice modifications. The headlight are ultra bright. Are those standard LEGO ones. The winch is a nice add on.
  7. The Allit Vario Series is just perfect. I use 4 of those on my desk.
  8. Index for C-Models - great idea! But imho this thread trails off towards a discussion thread. I suggest creating to threads: 1. The index and 2. A discussion thread regard the models that should be posted in the first one. Similar to the Hallmof Fame. Maybe you should ask Jim about it.
  9. I really like the pneumatice crane. How does it perform with the new pistons.
  10. For the TLG digital instructions app I use an iPad mini. For normal building i use a 15" laptop and the iPad mini for Netflix.
  11. Impressive size and performance. Don't mind modifying parts - esp. when it's on the edge of what technically possible with lego. The track width looks kind of out of proportion. They appear far to narrow for distributing/transfering all the weight of the real machine safely to ground.
  12. Regarding the balls (questions where to buy them arose earlier): I checked the TLG customer service website. They sell them for 0,81€ each. Just enter set number 41005 (Heartlake High) or Element Number 6023209 for the plain orange ball.
  13. I like it a lot. Tempts me to rebuild to original one and put them side by side.
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks. Great MOC. THe appearance of the headlights is so cool.
  15. Great contest, interesting MOCs. The size limitation was a challenging aspect. Bigger is not always better. Anyway - congratulations to the winners and all the contestants.
  16. I recommend taking it apart and first building the B-models. There are great as well. Than get yourself the instructions for the various C and D Models out there. Anyway from the engineering standpoint this set is really outstanding.
  17. This was featured in one of the last BLOCKS issues. Great article and even greater concept. I really hope this will take off pretty soon. It could change life for thousands.
  18. Hello there, i am in the process of building this truck. But i ran into an issue. The front wheels hit the ladder when turning. Anybody else who ran into this.
  19. Welcome to Eurobricks. You're making quite an entrance. ;-)
  20. I'm still looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner with automated ABS separaration. The dust would go in one container and everything brick in a separate bin. Would make my life a whole lot easier.
  21. Great work. It is quite recognisable. Thanks for sharing your ideas and on starting to make instructions. I'm looking forward to this.
  22. Nice colour scheme. And I love your idea for the license plate.
