  1. Thank you very much for this review and first of all proposing this alternative lighting to the crowd.
  2. TLG should take this to retail before Xmas.
  3. Nice work. Kind of an old style lifting mechanism. What is the purpose of the shocks/springs above the main frame? They don't seems being compressed when the container sits on the truck.
  4. @ darksheep It is the official online retail store of the Lego Group, called Shop@Home. You can find via lego.com
  5. We have a new definition of cool here. It's not a castle, it's a transformer! Great job and what a surprise. This made my day. Could you post some footage of the castle's "guts" and dungeons? Would be great to see the mechanisms work.
  6. Afaik it is the same. I'd recommend S@H for the PF stuff. The prices seam to be lower than on BL.
  7. The prices in the European S@H stores include VAT/sales tax. Afaik in the US the VAT is added at checkout according to the VAT of the state the bill goes to.
  8. No Suspension, no steering -> boring. Looks great on a shelf - but as a toy in that price range... Hopefully the wheels/tires will be available separately. @ Kermit: It should fit in the city. Being extra wide enables it to smash the villains on waiting on the sidewalks.
  9. A Masterpiece! The brakes are a nice detail. You managed to hide the PF elements ingeniously.
  10. Great Moc. The suspension works really well. The limitations of the RC really limit the optimal time to play with it to a couple days in spring and fall. If it is to cold the batteries die rather quick, if it is to hot the thermal protection kicks in.
  11. May i ask a question: what is the difference between the £29 and £40 pound pledge. Is the £29 just the Chance to be able to preorder to a reduced price?
  12. I just sent an email to the RailBricks magazine. @pasztorl Have you spread the word the HispaBricks (magazine), From Bricks to Bothans (fbtb.net), The Brothers Brick, 1000Steine? I started a thread at Doktor Brick.
  13. @ Kladovec Unconventional, but great. Fits its purpose.
  14. This could really be related to a faulty battery box. Tried another BB or contact Lego customer service about the apparently faulty one.
  15. There is already a thread/topic for modding/improving the 42030 loader: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=91625&hl=42030
  16. Instructions for the 2H14 sets are online: I've just visited TechnicBricks and Conchas posted links to all the instructions for the 2H14 Technic sets: http://www.technicbricks.com/2014/07/building-instructions-for-2h2014-lego.html Just downloaded them, will start building them tonight.
  17. I've been following this thread over the last few days. I second Jim's proposal of a universal modular truck chassis. Cumulonimbus rough drafts are a great start. Unfortunately I'm still a beginner in constructing models. My suggestion: There should be a central modular mainframe with a height of 3L. Similar to the mainframe of Madocas Wing Body Truck. Being modular would allow it to be altered easily for various variants like 2, 3 or 4 axle trucks. The mainframe would sport mounting points for axle modules (preferable suspended) and other modules like PF stuff for propulsion, compressors, or transmission/multiplex gearboxes. Payloads, tools, etc, would need to bring their own supporting 1-2L frame with them. This would enable us to switch the purpose of the truck with a few hand strokes. So far, my ideas.
  18. Looks interesting - let us see some video footage.
  19. Great news - looking forward to it. Sorry to hear about the piracy issue - it must have been a tremendous error by the publisher to distribute the last book as a DRM free PDF file.
  20. Brilliant. Great colors - matches the Claas machines, doesn't it?
  21. Looks great, excellently photographed. The ground clearance could be greater/needs improving. Although to body is very high above the ground the clearance of the axles is very low. That's the reasons it got stuck on the obstacles. Maybe, you could lengthen the chassis and body a few studs - would look sleaker. Could you post a picture of the mechanism to adjust the suspension height?
