    I love it! I love it! I love it!!! My faves are the Lion, and the Monkey! I really wish Lego would find a way to 'include' some sort of hand or stud attachment to the fins/ wings arms, so at least they could 'hold' something. On the one hand, I really do like the mid-legs that are movable, but agree the goldfish may have looked cuter with short legs. Could it be that the tail fin would sit too low with the short legs?

    Lots of IP!!! I wonder why the Golden Girls project is parked? I would definitely buy it! Would probably also buy Downton, Power Rangers, and Smurfs!!!

    Agree. The market is split. And Lego was responsible for splitting it. Castles, Pirates, etc. are more for AFOLs. Kids now are getting what, those minidolls?

    This looks to be a pretty sturdy build! (In contrast to that 'empty' Balrog set. ) Being enclosed, I think it is pretty dark inside - I wonder if adding some third-party lighting will highlight some of the features well. Overall, great build!

    I am wondering if we will ever see more Iron Man suits, especially the ones which don't have the "standard" colors and appearance. We got the Blazer armor and the Scuba armors in past sets. Would be great to have some variety.

    Yes! I absolutely love that set!!! Can't wait til its online!!! I have to say, I am really hopeful that for one, Lego has allowed a 'modular' to be on the BDP roster.

    When Rivendell was released, Minas Tirith (MT) was one of the ideas that many were presenting as the possible set. But Barad-dur came, then the Shire, but MT kept getting mentioned here and there. Now that it is finally coming out, what could be next???

    I really feel that the X-Men deserve their own CMF. There are many people here saying they are not popular enough or there are not enough well-known characters... but people said the same about all the Spideys and we got a CMF. I think there are also enough minifig MOC-ers out there who will buy those CMFs for the interesting parts that could be reused.

    I was thinking... Lego will be giving us a new location each year (?). But maybe they can make side builds as smaller sets? I would love for them to make an expansion set to Rivendell. LOL

    I think Lego is well aware that many are army-builders out there. They will use this expensive set to siphon off more money from fans. LOL

    Funny how the castle theme is so "in demand" and BDP9 has castles left and right, yet MTS is rotting in one corner. Hope Lego learned its lesson in price gouging.
