    Certain animals cannot be made into an animal costume minifig without what you termed as an "unnatural opening". Unicorn, llama, giraffe, etc. The CNY tiger costume skater looks as if the face is showing through the tiger's mouth, but it isn't obvious given they did not include the fangs/ teeth. If the fish were a goldfish, they could make an alternative type - the goldfish is similar to the race car suit, and the fig wearing it is a kid! That would be cute but it would not be uniform with the rest of the theme. Didn't they use it heavily with the Chima theme? some of those headpieces make good masks for some castle army factions.

    Yes! And I'd also re-mention one of my previous questions as to whether Lego will follow previous conventions of how they have done animal costume figs in previous series. I wonder if this whole series will have the whole animal head and feature the whole minifig face at the same time, or some of them will be made as 'mascot-style' with only the eyes showing through the animal costume head.

    Maybe they feel they already spent too much money on the head moulds. LOL But as much as I am a fan of the animal costume figs, I would really also love more new animal moulds.

    When are Rivendell and Barad-dur retiring? Perhaps Lego won't release any more sets until after one has retired from among the four they currently have on the market.

    I hate dolls and I'm not a fan of the haunted theme. However, I just love this!!! I like how you curated the rooms with vignettes! Great job!

    Agree. People are asking for too much! I do think the build is rudimentary for a Castle themed set, but it is more a 3-in-1 Creator set! I gotta give Lego credit for introducing two new factions in this set, with one being a somewhat complete lineup of essential characters!

    I am wondering how consistent they will be with the headpieces. In the past, there have been many variants. The more recent CNY bunny had the whole minifig face showing, and a whole animal head in the headpiece. The original bunny costume had the whole minifig face showing, with only bunny ears. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to be the only such version? Lastly, there was that cat costume girl from series 18 where the head was 'mascot-style' with the cat face/ head just having holes for the minifig eyes.

    Could they reuse the lion head mould from Harry Potter? I also wonder if they’ll reuse the bird costume headpiece for the parrot, although the beak would be ‘off’. I also initially thought the lizard mould could be reused for the croc but the snout is a bit short. I would not put it past Lego to reuse as many items as possible.

    Wonder which ones of these are 'repeats' from previous releases? I could see, peacock, bunny, lion and parrot being based out of previous hats. Disappointed that there is no prehistoric creature!!!

    I had a FOMO moment last night... had to order the 3-in-1 and Haunted house. I know its gonna be in stock for a while but I was afraid it might go on backorder for a while.
