Been away for a while, life stuff, anyway, 2026 for me has continued to disappoint. Paris and New York (my kids live in Brooklyn so I am there quite a bit) did not need to be made. The only saving grace for NY is there is a subway hidden under the buildings is my understanding. That is a nice touch, but the big apple background...oof. Just a historical note, the reason NYC is called the big apple is due to horse racing slang for a big payout. There are very few, if any apple trees there. I digress. Tower Bridge - less pieces, more expensive, a mini version of what we got in 2010 and you can likely still find that set on ebay at a decent price way less than this new version coming out. Sagrada - this is one I really like, BUT, I don't have the money or space for this thing. Is it just me or has Lego gotten lazy and just rehash a lot? I would love new buildings, there are a plethora we have discussed through the years on this thread alone but others as well. I don't get it. Are they under a mandate to not be creative and original? We did get the Pyramid, I like that set but used the MOC instructions for the full pyramid. If you want to rehash, then update that one into a Chichen Itza maybe? Same structure different part of the world. Buildings - so so so so many to do. They get creative with the modular sets but not architecture, I am just baffled by this. In any case, life is still good, there are sets I like, I also like trains, wish they would do a Big Boy locomotive at least, if they want big sets this would be perfect. Hope everyone is having a great summer in the northern hemisphere and good winter in the southern.

While I know Notre Dame was a church, would they do another church so quickly in the line?

To follow up, there is a post on a facebook page for 21064 at $80 now and it is a 958 piece set for Paris...which kind of makes no sense to me, so treating this as a rumor for now until we get more info, anyone have more info?

Saw a rumor today for 21064 to be released on 1st Jan 2026 with a price around US $70. Maybe a skyline or smaller building.

That's amazing, but is that only 3500 pieces? If so, sign me up.

It sounds like set 21063 is the Neuschwanstein Castle, 3455 pieces, August 1 release, do not find the cost yet. Anyone have a picture or the cost value of the set?

We were supposed to get 2 sets, but it would be nice to get back to something under $100 that is a nice build and not a repeat.

really? Why are they just recreating sets we already have? Can they not do new buildings? This may be the first set I skip or maybe just get it and not build it. Frustrating when there is so much good architecture out there and they do repeats.

The rumor is 2025 will bring two new sets. Nothing is known at this time other than the set numbers of 21062 and 21063. Skyline again maybe? New building? Long way away right now.

Well, it is December 12 and no rumors and no confirmations of anything new for 2024 in Architecture. Used to be we would get 2 skylines on January 1, now we get nothing. One large set in Himeji was all in 2023. Hey Lego, did you forget about us?

oh me too, but I think since it falls under religion then TLG won't touch it

well I only visited it once, but that was enough, usually just pass through it...it looks nothing like it did originally and it's incredibly smaller than I thought it would be. I edited my reply...see above. Had no idea we had a LUG here.
