  1. ...as long as it is not a FLAT slice, I'll be okay. The limited minifig lineup of Barad-dur was disappointing. It would not have mattered if there were small, follow up sets to complete the minifig lineup, but no. What about a series of smaller sets that can be assembled together? A la Harry Potter?
  2. Lego now knows how much we are all so hungry for more... If we expect something to be $400, it will probably be $600, etc. I bought Rivendel, Barad-dur, and the Shire all on day one. But I haven't bought that book nook.
  3. Just occurred to me - what if they do include another animal costume minifig, but this time another fig from Fabuland!
  4. Maybe they might make this a series of dioramas - minifig scale, with a micro-build scale exterior in the form of a slice! Just like the Death Star! The first $1500 Lego set! It will contain 28 minifigs, only two are exclusive! Six more minifigs feature separate characters, while the rest of the 20 are the same-print figures. Great for army building!
  5. This robot is cute and almost has a "GoBots" vibe to it!
  6. Excellent job! Perhaps you could make a parts list on Rebrickable?
  7. I find the "furniture/ music" store a bit of a "boring" concept, in terms of all the other establishments that fans have been clamoring for the past few years: printing press, theater, healthcare-based building, etc. However, they may come up with novel techniques or styles (just like they did for the Tudor corner) that may make quite palatable in the end.
  8. At the rate they are going, I would actually need to buy it. LOLOL.
  9. I wonder if we will get another D2C in 2026?
  10. The scenes are so alive - great job!
  11. My guesses will be a bit more generic... 1) Some figure related to having a pigeon, and will include a pigeon that is perhaps recolored. Probably a park statue with bird poop markings and a pigeon. 2) Another steampunk themed figure, perhaps female this time. Using the big skirt piece and having a weapon-like umbrella. 3) Male Rococo aristocrat. 4) Dinosaur costume - likely, brachiosaurus (would love a stegosaurus but it needs to differentiate from the lizard and crocodile. Runners up would be plesiosaur and ankylosaur). 5) A modern day astronaut/ engineer with the bright light green space torso. 6) A motorcyclist with the bright light blue helmet. 7) Kraken monster 8) Griffin wizard 9) Crow faction nobleman/ noblewoman. 10) Roman archer 11) Zookeeper
  12. That Christmas tree concept is really nice. Shame about the price though.
  13. Grauman's Chinese Theater is as Asian as your typical "American Chinese food". LOL Yes, a post office in modular form has looooong been overdue. Common, Lego!
  14. Great MOC! Are instructions on Rebrickable?
  15. They can make it great and phenomenal and really well worth $1K, but sadly that SW set is just not worth it. It is good, but not commensurate to the price. Many of the scenes have come out as individual sets in one way or another and there are only 8 or so new figs/ prints of figs. I actually fear if Lego applies the same logic to any LOTR set.
  16. Yes, they should have included a dino in the upcoming set.
  17. I wonder where/which set the torso will appear in? So, the dark blue helmet and air tanks appeared together on a Dreamzzz set. And now the bright green together as well. Why did they have to split the bright light blue? With the helmet still missing! Oh dear, this will jack up the prices on BL!
  18. @danth Those are all so cool finds!!! Wish Lego SW builds were all so clean like those!
  19. I still think someone might take a 'gap year'.
  20. People will be chasing this set for the minifigs/ minifig components. Recently, I think Lego has been capitalizing on price gouging (think SW), and putting 'chase parts' in expensive sets. We can all just hope that all the 'chase parts' end up in PAB, and 'bestsellers' especially for American buyers.
  21. I really do think the figs are 'well-made' in the sense that if you don't care for the characters themselves, there are many parts useful for minifig MOCs (although not to the level of the D&D). I ordered mine as a complete set online.
  22. I really do wonder what prevented them from ever releasing minifig sets in the past. Mini dolls don't exist beyond the Friends and Disney themes, no? Over at IG and sometimes Reddit, whenever people post 'like' or clamor for more Disney minifigs and corresponding sets, there is the occasional (frequent, at times) 'dislike' or even outright hateful comment from a (supposed) mini doll follower. Anyway, I just recently saw a Reddit post showing some scalpers - they bought the whole stock of minifig Wicked sets from a store (should not have been allowed). Again reinforcing that demand is there, as it is 'backordered' on the web site and supposedly selling out at some stores.
  23. If I skip buying the death star on release, is it possible to build the GWP all from bricklink?
