Isn't this the first time we are having a BDP purchase on the "merged" BL and Lego web sites? Something tells me most US buyers will be shut out for a while, while their very capable IT team troubleshoots. Wonder if this means they will "extend" the numbers?

I also tried Safari and Google Chrome. Same result. Yes, probably a US server/ web site issue???

Exactly the same!!! I have "9" on the top right, but cart is "empty" when you click on it. I chatted with the "bot" and it sent boiler plate instructions to remove cookies. It didn't work!!! I asked for a live person, but "no one is available". The "bar" on the funding though is moving so there are people able to order!?!?!?

The web site - mainly Lego.com - keeps giving me error messages on ordering any set!

I appreciate Lego for making different 'versions' of the same set of Christmas characters. But I also often long for more variation. Something like Father Christmas and wearing a different hat, etc. Would be fun collecting those minifigs.

I wonder if Lego might aim to give us some more home bases for certain factions? We've had several bases for several factions so far: LKC - Lion Knights (BDP) Castle in the Forest - Forestmen Medieval Blacksmith - Falcon Knights (BDP) Mountain Fortress - Falcon Knights Horse Knight Castle - Horse Knights (BDP) Outlaw Den - Wolf Knights (BDP) Dustmark Keep - (?) Snake Knights Would be great if they make something for the Krakens and Griffins, and also revive the Ravens.

All I can say is keep all those locations coming...

Expectations are just so high and the opportunity to come up with a model quite limited and narrow.

The Downtown Diner seems to be an outlier in terms of its style. I could see why it may "not" belong to the usual street. But I actually really like it on its own. Might anyone have any suggestion of a MOC that would go well with this building? Would really love to build this street.

Outside of the 'usual' modulars, we have had some outliers like the Art-Deco Downtown Diner (which reportedly was not popular), and the more recent Tudor corner. It would be great if Lego could rotate these sub themes or other sub themes so that at least the Tudor corner is note lonely. LOL

This minifig actually looks less of a ghost and more of a character in a black-and-white classic. Maybe someone could make a vignette with her, Inspector Red Herring, and Mime in it? LOL

I really don't mind if Disney gives us at least one new-very-much-wanted character as a minifig in one of these sets. I bet if they do give use a new version of the same structure/ castle, Lego will use it to hide some of these very much wanted characters.

Really hoping for that one! I certainly hope that 2026 will not just be all Wicked sets.

Honestly I think if the rumor were a bit off, and this turned out to instead be a "toy store" then the interiors could contain a lot of fun little builds and prints. The floor area of a modular is very very restricted to fit in a lot of meaningful furniture builds.

I just learned that the Disney Castle and the Snow White sets are both retiring. I am really surprised about the former!!! I would have thought that Disney would at least keep that in their own shelves! Is this a sign that sales are just not good? Especially comparing to the previous version! OTOH, could it be that they might finally release another much-wanted castle or location? Or are they merely trying buoy sales of the BATB castle? (And when will they finally give Sleeping Beauty her prince? LOL)

I really like this GWP, especially the fact that the "screen" can be replaced! We can finally put a Jimmy Kimmel figure in it! (JOKE) LOL But seriously, I do agree that they should at least have put in one new figure. Why is Lego soooo stingy when it comes to new Disney minifigs??? License is expensive? Disney puts a lot of restrictions? I can't imagine that they do not sell well - the Wicked minifig sets (vs the minidoll ones) went on backorder quickly!

Maybe they are just trying to maximize profits? I think if they design it as a single big set but sell it as smaller sets, it can still be a masterpiece, with just some pieces added or subtracted for the smaller sets.

I think there are builds that resonate with some AFOLs and nobody else. There are other Space themes and builds that will be popular beyond these people, and I hope Lego realizes that! Some builds may only have some appeal to those who experienced them in their childhood.

That's a good idea! I don't think we've gotten any recycling/ sanitation-themed buildings, no?
