  1. I love it, its a cute size and it moves just like some excited little animal. During your video, when you showed the driveline, the chain of 4 8t gears made me laugh, its not something you could typically get away with. And the solution at the rear wheels for getting drive is really clever.
  2. Oh, you're right! Sorry about that.
  3. On the Lego website there's a new photo (at least to me) of the side, and I can see plain black wires, which I think is probably for LEDs. They could still be fiber optics, I suppose.
  4. Looking at the photo of the engine bay, I see the old orange gear switcher exposed.
  5. Super cool! I can't quite tell from the gif, but it looks like the suspension readjusts itself to its previous position- did you do that manually or have you somehow made a script?
  6. This looks great so far, I'm excited to see how the motorised suspension works in the final version.
  7. Yup, I've heard from others the MouldKing has a proportional servo, and I know Cada has one. The only way I found to get a proportional input from the Cada one was to plug a buggy motor on the same port - not ideal. The Cada one is on decadastore.com and I dont know about the MK one.
  8. Ahh, there's the problem. Fake servos, even ones capable of proportional control, don't seem to work proportionally with Buwizz
  9. By any chance is it a brandless fake servo? I know those have issues with only having 3 positions.
  10. Well, while we're on the topic- I think the Chiron should have been a Veyron, based on my much larger exposure to the Veyron compared with the Chiron in media. Following this, I think the Sian should have been an Aventador. I'm not sure about the Porsche or the Ferrari since I don't really have any big feelings about any specific recent models from them. But, at least IMO, the Veyron and Aventador are more iconic than the Chiron and the Sian. Which is why I'm more happy to get a P1 than some new car I've never heard of before. (Artura, P18, whatever we thought it was gonna be)
  11. I can see a gear on a 5m or 3m axle axle with stop at the back. I think maybe it's for the spoiler?
  12. Yeah! They stole our flag design!! Jokes aside, it looks like an interesting set for sure.
  13. I like the paint job, but I think it might look better with bigger wheels, have you tried them? Also, I've never seen cv joints break like that before, very interesting! Thank you! Upon looking up the Gemballa Marsien, I do see the resemblance!
  14. Since it's nearly the weekend, I might find some time to video this one. I recorded its top speed without a body at 20.2km/h on bumpy concrete. I'm using the slow output of a buwizz motor geared up 24:12 per rear wheel. The body is kinda disjointed, the rear is inspired by RX7's with ridiculous body kits, while the front is inspired by Porsche 911's. Im also using 3d printed wheel arches, since I don't own those parts yet. I'd be glad to answer any questions.
  15. I think I'm onto something with this... more coming soon...
  16. A minifig scale elevator, or an extendable drawbridge. Or both!!
  17. I think it might be to ensure a more perfect finish on both sides without the need for sanding or supports?
  18. It's been a bit since I've shared any updates on what I'm working on, and I finally decided to sit down and make a post. I've built another 6x6 chassis, this time using 28t bevel gears for every wheel instead of 12t gears, meaning the whole thing is a lot stronger. Now I'm just waiting for a nice day on the weekend to take it out and test it some more. Until then, I have some photos and a video from testing the chassis. Some photos of the "finished" model It even has seats and a steering wheel! After seeing JLiu's race buggy, I wanted to make my own, with a larger focus on performance. With the big RC tires you can see in the left of the first photo, I was able to get it up to 20 km/h on the pavement outside my house. I think it could go faster on a warm day on smoother ground. I'm using 2x buwizz 2.0, and 2x CADA buggy motor, hard couple, wheels driven from the slow output. However, this model is more about being fun.. Soo, I tried some silly ideas out on it. I also tried 3d printing a tire from 95a TPU, just for fun. I'm quite happy with the tread pattern, but overall everything is too think so it is very stiff.
  19. You're in luck! I received another Buwizz 3 and 2 motors today, so I'll gladly build this and test it out. I dont have the same tires you have, or the 3d printed frames and bearings, so the performance might not be perfectly representative.
  20. So, I have a slight problem with the app and was wondering if it affects anyone else or if there's a solution I'm not aware of. When using a technic hub, I can run set a port to a servo motor type and then set the servo range to up to 180°. This is perfect for me. The calibration doesnt go as far as it should for proper calibration, but that actually isnt a problem because of the ability to adjust the base angle. The issue I have is that I cannot set the servo range when using a Buwizz 3.0 unit. Im using the Buwizz units port 1, and I updated the firmware on my buwizz units a few months ago. My phone is a samsung S23 FE running android 14. Im using the 7th jan 2023 update version of the app (latest). If I should provide more information, please let me know!
