  1. Considering geartrain on steering system, this also has steering wheel correction problem.
  2. The large CV joint hub in the pin version features roller bearings inside to reduce friction when used with heavy models. It is a real shame that these are missing in the brake disc version.
  3. So, all Technic MOCs were rejected in this 11th funding round as well. At this point, I can only conclude that TLG is intentionally ignoring and excluding Technic.
  4. To answer humorously, TLG likely no longer has motors to install in a vehicle like this because most C+ motors have been discontinued. To give a more realistic answer, while the motor of the Chiron was made of Lego, the entire model was built tens of thousands of Lego parts mounted on a steel frame like this.
  5. I don't understand why people complain about color coding. Why don't you just suggest unifying all the pins, axles, connectors, bushings, and gears to black? That would make finding parts much easier, wouldn't it? I still remember when the 42009 was released, people criticized it, asking why it was covered in 2L pins on third stage of crane boom when 3L pins could have been used.
  6. For new 18/14 gear meshing, @Sariel already did test even before 11 years ago. I timestamped to 18t gear but 64 also has test.
  7. On the 2 leftmost prototype model, seems like both are use new kind of wheel hub which has disk but can accept new large CV joint. But rear one's front hub is existing one. I wonder it will include in final model...
  8. I do have two monster trucks that I’ve wanted to build for a long time, but personally, I don't think Lego and monster trucks go well together. The biggest reason is the tires, which are the core element of the currently planned competition; Lego tires are too thin compared to real monster truck tires. Also, since one of the two vehicles I want to build fits regular tires much better than tractor tires, I effectively have only one model option.
  9. I think this is enough "historical" model. Considering this set also 30th anneiversary on next year. Only downside powered up system is discontinued.
  10. Considering that 2027 marks the 50th anniversary of the technic, I am becoming increasingly afraid.
  11. I asked one set alternative model contest before. My suggestion set limit - must be over 100$(or 99.99 something. least 50~60?) price tag. part limit - No spare part, No extra string or rubber band except already included in set. (Extra string or rubber band part rule can change but I can't acceptable spare part.)
