  1. The picture links appear broken, but checking the rebrickable it seems you've done a great job reimagining the model in a larger scale. Much smoother than the original.
  2. Making such specialised parts as this is lazy design IMO. Having suspension parts work together perfectly despite the limitations with available parts is an art and this set is a mockery of it.
  3. Very nice boat, I love this whole project, feels like the sort of thing you'd dream about making as a kid. And such a lot of rubber joiners!
  4. I've had a similar problem with technic pins on suspension or steering parts in RC models. Usually my solution is tape around the pins/axles to make them grip tighter. Cool project! Do you know how long it lasts?
  5. Very nice! I love the headlights, they look really good. The whole build seems functional, thanks for sharing.
  6. Doesn't every output on that rc hub have a rotation meter thingie? Surely they could control speed of each motor that way and avoid any perceived risk associated with hard coupling the motors.
  7. My two cents on the whole thing is just use hobby rc electronics, the wiring is more messy but the end result is you have far better control and power, often for cheaper. But for something like a bus or tractor with many functions, I see the concern.
  8. Ive pushed my buwizz 3.0s incredibly hard, even running them connected to battery banks to avoid current shut downs. Never had any issues with melting things or fires, the unit has built in protections. Also, I really doubt you'd ever get 4a from a buwizz unit at 12v as it cuts out well before then.
  9. The non bevel gears actually have slightly larger diameter which would technically mean less likely to skip.
  10. Looks awesome! I think it captures the look and feeling really well, I'll be following this build. I like how you're working with the standard angle parts instead of using system parts too.
  11. I have ;) This image is just from a seller website, maybe the resolution is too big, but I own a similar one, they certainly exist!
  12. Very nice, I'm a big fan of these trucks. Im curious how the heli will turn out too.
  13. Somehow I doubt TLG would care. But I do agree, zetros tires are off the table for sure.
  14. Thats such a simple problem to fix. I'm disappointed, TLG...
  15. I recommend ps5 controller over ps4 controller because then you can connect to your phone over a normal usb c to c cable. The ps4 controller uses micro usb which is prone to breaking.
  16. How about weight limit instead of part limit? Kitchen scales should be common enough.
  17. Awesome work @R0Sch, I'm impressed how much you can do from early photos.
  18. I am far more excited for next years sets because of this, the potential is huge for cranes as others mentioned. Very, very nice part.
  19. This is neat. I like the way you made it more playable by not having a hull, it makes it sit really nicely on the table. The simple shaping is nice too.
  20. No worries ;) TPU from my experience with it, admittedly only 95a, is far too rigid for tires. I've used esun brand filament because it's cheap where I am.
  21. I just assumed that when you said "3d-printed tyres" you meant, well, tyres... not rims. But I understand now :)
  22. What material are you using? I'm pretty sure you'll encounter traction issues if you're using high hardness tpu, and printing issues with low hardness... but I'd love to see a solution, good luck!
  23. I dont mind cars. But I havent bought any of the new lego cars. The only reason to buy them is new parts, they're not as interesting as the old unlicensed models. Big, expensive, *empty* shells that don't even look good. I bought the peugeot 9x8 because it had unique suspension, but no other car set recently really took my fancy enough to take my money. Im happy to just wait for the parts to be on B&P and save myself a whole lot of money. But lego isnt really for serious afols anymore, it feels.
