  1. front axle ~done, needs a bit more reinforcement but i think its going to work just fine
  2. Got the motors and shifting motor in, I know I could use software control to set the motor up perfectly but it never seems to work with my phone, so clutch gears it is. That looks like a nice setup- though I may see an issue, you may want to reinforce that steering gear to the rack some more. Or maybe I'm just paranoid about such things breaking..
  3. Hopefully- I'm planning to use 6 buwizz motors with it so it needs to be able to hold up to that.
  4. I've had a rough plan for a 6x6 for buwizz camp for a while, I guess we'll see where I can get to!
  5. Agh- I need to do this... I dont want to... I feel like this is a universal problem for lego builders update: I did it
  6. Some more purple in technic would be a godsend. I'm excited.
  7. Wouldnt the base of the pneumatic cylinder in the front suspension get hit when the wheel turns?
  8. But its orange, completely different to the original!! It looks kinda nice, thanks for sharing the photo
  9. 42069 for the great amount of functions in a really cool package. 42077 because it was my first proper technic set, so it has a special place in my heart.
  10. I think that as you mentioned before, the topics should be very broad so everyone can build something. Also, as this is a "challenge" not a "contest", perhaps we could have multiple things? Another idea is to maybe have a specific car, and we all just build something inspired by it.
  11. 14 is good for such a heavy beast! For measuring speed I use a cycplus g1, available on aliexpress for quite a reasonable price. Sometimes it takes a minute to connect to a satellite if you're standing still, but overall its a really good product, especially for the price.
  12. By my rough calculations from measuring pixels, the new tires have a diameter of around 80mm. To fit into the existing tire sizes, they could be 81.6 mm.
  13. Why do you prefer buwizz 2.0 over buwizz 3.0? I know buwizz 2.0 is cheaper but 3 of them is roughly the same as two buwizz 3.0s, but with IMO reduced performance and functionality.
  14. And you cant use C+ motors. With such a large model the buwizz 2 would really be struggling, buwizz 3 is really the only good option imo. Or maybe two MK 6 ports, but I dont know how good they are from personal experience.
  15. My general rule and what most people seem to follow is a buwizz 3 can run 2 buggy motors at full power and a buwizz 2 can run 1 at full power reliably and 2 if youre super duper careful. With buwizz 3 you would also have to swap to a C+ L motor for steering. In my experience, after the firmware update, a buwizz 3 runs 2 buwizz motors completely fine and never cuts out. You just need to be a bit grown up with your driving, which took me a little bit. Gentle throttle and such. Hope this helps :)
  16. Perhaps you could turn them into a sculpture, if nothing else?
  17. A little humour never hurt anyone. This world could do with a bit more, go on!
  18. Nice work! Out of curiosity, do you know how much a MK 4 port unit weighs? Perhaps you could go faster with more power to weight. Regardless, 13km/h is still pretty quick and not to be scoffed at.
  19. That looks like it was handling really well. Did you encounter any issues? And, a side note, do you think it could fit 6 buwizz motors without too much modding?
  20. I (a complete novice) was printing within an hour.
