  1. I don't really like F1, but I gotta say, very nice model! One thing I would improve tho is to use a 1x6 plate and a 1x6 tile to close the gap between the #17/#18 panel behind the front axle. And just not use these tiny hubcaps. Otherwhise,
  2. Very cool, are you planing to make this a series? Spaceship B-models for cars? The wheels on the wings make it look more like a repulsorlift landspeeder than a spaceship imo. I like your Porsche RSR B-model a lot better because it had so many cool functions, but I guess that's the limit for how few parts were available from the Corvette.
  3. I know nothing about Monster Trucks, but I like the look! The worm gears used as shoch absorbers is a cool idea, but think it would have been even cooler if you had used some actual soft shock absorbers to make a working suspension
  4. Very cool, and it seems to work pretty smooth! And powered by a hairdryer Thank you for sharing this
  5. @OnyyX This is an alternative version of the front driveshafts, used on both sides. The black piece is a generic rubber o-ring that prevents the axle from sliding out of the diff. This should work even with bad quality bricks. Send me a PM with your E-Mail adress and I'll provide you with the parts list when I have time
  6. Wow, what a beautiful axle. This is probably the only way to make a solid LEGO axle that is sturdy and does not look way too thick
  7. You need an Agent to send the bricks to you (PM me if you need contacts). He can get you just the bricks. Other colors for the my GT-R are definatelly possible. White, blue(obviously), yellow and red should be possible with all the pins and axles in the correct color. Other colors might be possible too, but idk. If you want I can export you a parts list with all the bricks (not pins&axles tho, I just order a bunch) that are needed for a "repaint". The repaint cost me ~85€ total.
  8. I dont know where you got that idea, but I have bought a custom selection of bricks from GoBricks multiple times, and nothing else, no problem. Only problem is that you need an agent to ship it outside of china. And you are right, making the Parts list GoBricks ready is a bit of work, but believe me, it is worth it Yes sadly the steering angle is limited by the U-joints max angle. so even when using less wide wheels a better steering angle is impossible for a AWD system
  9. @OnyyX thank you for your extensive comment! I guess it is no surprise that an australian likes my little Godzilla Aliexpress sellers that steal MOCs are way worse than brands stealing MOCs. The Aliexpress sellers don't even care if the MOC will work in the end, or if the Bricks are even the correct color I recommend you buy the bricks seperately from GoBricks next time. I think a MOC like this should be possible for ~200€. And GoBricks has very good brick quality, so the MOC will work good too I buy most of my bricks from GoBricks, and they even make things like the blue color seen above possible (and honestly I don't think I could afford this hobby with only buying LEGO ) PS: I might have a solution that can fix your front diff problems. I'll make a model in LDCad. @Celeri Thank you
  10. Wow, that is powerful! Can you tell in which way the diff failed? Did the 2 halves of the diff split apart, or did the gear slip inside with the housing intact? "Des isch zuviel"
  11. Can we jist leave this topic alone? There is obviously nothing important left to say.
  12. Wow what the F is up with that gear slipping? That does not sound healthy. And the wheel falling off, well...
  13. They certeinly arn't where Xiaomi is selling them, in China This ^ And many brick manufacturers, like Cada for example, make small changes to the bricks, so they function the same while looking a little different that way the "design protection" does not matter because it protects the overall look, not the technical function. None of these normal bricks can be patented, as a patent is given for an invention. "Designschutz", so Design Protection, is used for shaped objects like our beloved bricks. But things that only contain design elements of a technical nature (like a stud for example) cannot get design protection. The weird thing about the EU design protection system is that you can get any design you want protected, and nobody will look at it. Only if someone else drags you infront of the court the protected thing in question will get examined. So while LEGO has a lot of bricks protected right now, a lot of them only still have protection because nobody with enough cash has fought things out in front of the court. All this is is very complicated, and I am afraid I also lack the knowledge and expertise to grasp these laws 100%. I am no expert either.
  14. "Illegal Brands" Just no. Xiaomi is not breaking any laws, and they haven't stolen any designs either. They offer original designs, and they seem to be appreachiated here as I can see. LEGO has competition now, and that competition is not "illegal" or whatever. Please educate yourself a little on the matter before writing a comment like this. Btw, having your MOCs storen hurts, I know how you feel as it is happening to me as well. But not even close to all all chinese brands are like that.
  15. Very nice build. I like the integration of that technic panel into the system bricks in the rear. But the IR recieves really bothers me.
  16. Do not work on multiple projects at once, that way you'll have to finish what you are working on before you can try the next idea
  17. I agree. If you design for LEGO your Models will obviously be a lot worse than if you built them for yourself. And that's what I think would hurt me the most.
  18. Sorry, but can't you just keep this in the "Share your Trucks" topic instead of creatinge another of these "Collection Topics"? Most of the trucks there have a trailer anyways. NEW MOCs disappear from the first page too fast as it is, but these "Collection Topics" make it even worse, because they keep getting bumped every 5 seconds. And unlike the "Axle Collection thread", which is there to help people building, almost all of these trucks have their own dedicated topic.
  19. @syclone may I ask: What the point in mounting the Defender wheels on the disc hubs? There is not enough space inside the wheel to mount a brake caliper... I'd rather have no brake discs than no brake calipers. Or do you need the different wheel offset?
  20. I've ordered the new Mould King Proportional Remote and battery box today The version I ordered only has 4 channels tho I belive, unlike the crane one, and the front buttons are just dummy buttons. So be careful, not all remotes have 6 channels. I normally don't like to deal with RC stuff, but this one MOC of mine kind of forced me to sooo... You do what you have to
  21. Very cool! I like how small the turning radius is with the rear wheels steering. Looks so smooth!
  22. That might be true, but for the price there should have been a servo for steering, 2 motors for driving to beginn with and shock absorber suspension. And they didn't even care to cover the truck bed and build a proper crane arm. The only reason all of that is absent is because it is cheaper without it. Unworthy of a anniversary Flagsip model if you ask me. I think the Zetros will adress most of these issues. You can see the shocks on the rear axle already. There will be one motor for steering which can work as a servo, and probably one drive motor on each side working togehter. If they are feeling really generous maybe there will be get a transmission shifted by a 4th motor, something like in the Volvo. And I hope they cover up the bed properly this time...
  23. @Ngoc Nguyen Yeah I doubt they would care about a forum like this, but Rebrickable makes profit with their instructions, and in theory Xiaomi could start something. Anyways, it's a neat little model, and very nice of you to share the instructions
  24. @allanp Well I would, because a veicle called "All terrain tow truck" is basically a trial truck with a different purpose. But the Zetros seems to have some real suspension, in the back at least. The front travel looks so small that there might be no suspension there And hopefully you are right and the drivetrain isn't as weak as the 42070.
