  1. @piterx And just so you know, all your Pics are dead.
  2. I hope you'll get all the bricks in the right colors. The renders do look nice, but that harlequin version is not for me
  3. Very simplistic build, but still pretty cool. I like how the battery box is turning as well so the cables don't get twisted. Well done The only thing I dislike are the gaps between the panels. Filling those up shouldn't be hard.
  4. Honestly I doubt that shooting 4 motors through a gearbox is a good idea. You already encountered the torque problem, and if your gear up the entire system you'll see pieces wearing out quite fast due to increased heat development.
  5. Well you can use the planetary gear hubs in a similar way. They might not be as effective, but they are easier to fix in place, and they are new. I'd say a good alternative
  6. Wow, that bridge looks so old and withered, very nice! And using these technic balljoint pieces as eyes makes the troll look a bit cute tbh
  7. Yeah I noticed your building style is quite unique. It allows for a lot of space to work with, but I dislike the decease in the car's interior space. I try to keep as much of a car's interior space on my MOCs, but that means I have a lot less space for mechanisms available. Basically only under the dash, in the center tunnel, under the rear seats and trunk area. But I guess I kind of enjoy the space limitations, because it challenges me to improve my mechanism designs. And I only keep the functions that actually work pretty reliably Btw do you have a part number for that Planetary piece? I have never seen that piece before, probably because it is older than me lol
  8. That's what I thought about as well! That channel is a gold mine for cool mechanisms, too bad it seems like its dead for good
  9. So the overall width is still 29 studs. The area around the headlights look better now too.
  10. Looks like an interesting MOD, and very compact! The only function not RC is turntable turning. But I guess that's alright, a 5th motor would't fit anyways, and the battery box only has 4 ports.
  11. So you managed to decrease the width 2 studs more? I am glad! So your overall width is 27 studs including the exteded wheel arches? That's pretty slim actually! What's the overall legth? My cars are generally 29 studs wide, and my widebody Mazda RX-7 is even 31 studs wide! (and the front spliter extends another 2 studs on each side so 35 studs in front lol) The difference is probably the scale, Rolls Royce has probably massive wheels irl
  12. How many motors do you want in your MOC? 2GodBDGlory: YES! The underside of your MOCs always looks like a mess, but the ammount of functions is crazy!
  13. @hollielucas I didn't mean it in a bad way, I just meant that these things are kind of outdated I know there are still audio fanatics or people that hold onto them out of nostalgia, but I don't think there are enough to warrant a LEGO set aimed at them.
  14. It looks so nice! I love the way the arrow slits look
  15. Wow, looks awesome! The Rocks look so well made, with all the vegetation on them... Is there a cool door opening mechanism as well? It would be a waste if not, there is enough space in these Rocks for sure
  16. Wow I love this! The colors flow together so well, and there are small details everywhere!
  17. Its an intresting idea for sure, but not the kind of thing LEGO could sell. I mean who still owns these record discs nowadays, and you'd have to buy an electronic device seperately... No chance m8.
  18. A classic case of "I dont feel like searching for what I want, I'll just ask and make others search for me". Great introduction, welcome to the forum
  19. @OnyyX I am not a fan of modifying a car to look like a different one. The result will always be better if you start from 0. Of course you can carry over transmission, suspension and other tech, but that's it. Doing small modifications like swapping the front and rear bumper on the R32 will not make it a R34. That might have worked in a smaller scale, but not in 1:8 scale. The R34 has different bodylines and is a bit taller in general, especially at the rear. Imo the entire bodywork would have to be made from zero to create a R34 that looks good. But the frame of my R32 does seem to fit well, the wheelbase might have to be adjusted slightly, but that should be about it. I might do the R34 sometime in the future myself, but definitely not before I can figure out how I can fit 4 wheel steering into the R32's transmission
  20. Wow. Misaligned axle holes is something I only know from older, low-quality Non-LEGO Bricks. To see this with genuine LEGO? Wow... And the injection point is very visible as well. Quality seems to drop with newer pieces
  21. @samuelgu I am glad to see another JDM fan here! The 300ZX is very underrated imo. Do you have some technic MOC experience? Building a 1:8 scale cars like this takes a lot of time, especially if you don't have a lot of experience. First thing I always recommend is to work with Sariel's awesome Model Scaler. It'll help getting the proportions right. >> Model Scaler <<
  22. I think the final desingn looks pretty nice actually, simplistic and clean. But if you do think it is too boring later you could make some exchangable lower side panels with some pixel art on it...Just an idea
  23. I dont agree. There are so many great MOCs in the Technic section, but only very little get frontpaged. I know not every good MOC can be frontpaged, bit still. It has been a bit better lately, but there have been times where there was not a single technic MOC frontpaged for a month or more. I don't want to attack any off the staff/Admins here, I am sure they have enough work on their hands. But honestly I'd rate your chance at getting frontpaged close to zero.
  24. Wow very cool! This concept might actually have the potential to be used in a vehicle and work
  25. @langko It will be the normal LEGO "bright blue" that has been around forever. Inspiration was this:
