Buick GNX 1987

Thank you! :) As usual, my models always have working steering and doors, a trunk, and a hood that open. -

It’s not just about the grill—I have a hinge that holds the entire bumper in place. That solution kind of dictated other things :) Yes, the angle is definitely better than my 45°, but this solution also has its drawbacks because it extends too far down :). But I admire that you took the time to do this in the studio. Thank you for your interest and for this project! I can easily replace the wheel arches with macaroni tiles—and I think I actually made a mistake here, because a lot of people are saying they’re overdrawn :) -

Those bevels shouldn't extend below the headlights, like they do on yours. My radiator grille is “broken,” with subtle bevels, just like on the bumper. (The whole thing is mounted on a hinge.) That was an important detail for me. But your version is interesting, too. -

Yeah, I can see that the wheel arches are the most controversial part of my little car :) And yes! That exact part you posted—I’d already installed it on the prototype... But I decided against it. They looked ridiculously small. And these ones are too big :) Out of those two options, these seemed more accurate to me. Please take a look at the original—it has fairly distinct wheel arches; of course, not quite as pronounced as mine, but making them too small would also be a mistake :) Either way, something must be off. These opinions are popping up everywhere, so I can’t ignore them—there’s some truth to them. There’s one more aspect visible from my perspective. I’ve built over a dozen models in this scale, and I finally wanted to use some crazy fenders to spice things up a bit ;) If you’re up for it, take a look—I’ve used the exact same fenders on sooo many models—I’m already bored with them :) https://rebrickable.com/users/syzygy87/mocs/ Yeah! :) The Sisters of Mercy released their album "Floodland" in 1987—the year that Buick was made. I just had to :) -
I got a few requests for this car, so I gave in, even though I don't see anything special about it :) The only versions available on Rebrickable were ones I didn't like, so I took on the challenge. Did I surpass the existing models? That's not for me to judge :) Features: working steering openable doors, hood and trunk detailed engine, interior and body shape display model with playable functions REBRICKABLE INSTAGRAM FLICKR

Ford Gran Torino Sport 1972

I would be honored! Thanks! Thank you :) That looks pretty good, but... I've already done those headlights twice—on a Chevy Impala and a Chevy Apache... :) So it's just experience in this field... although I've never used 3x3 mudguards before :P -

Yes, those are exactly the rims and tires from the Mustang set. I know the tire is too wide, but the rim matches the look of the original car. Thanks! The Technic panel fit perfectly here (I hope). Thanks! Me too—that’s why it stayed that way. -
Inspired by the iconic 1972 Ford Gran Torino and its unmistakable 1970s American muscle car styling. Creator Expert scale. Features: working steering wheel openable doors (double hinge), hood and trunk detailed engine, interior and body shape authentic long-hood coupe proportions display model with playable functions A bold classic with aggressive front styling, wide stance and period-correct character — perfect for fans of vintage American cars. I would appreciate feedback - including negative opinions :) REBRICKABLE INSTAGRAM FLICKR

Refreshed version of my 2021 model in 1:11 scale. I rebuilt almost the entire front of the car and improved the side line (it’s now more rounded). The rear was already quite good, but I made a few small tweaks there as well. Main features: • V8 engine with differential and 2-speed gearbox • functional steering wheel • opening doors, hood and trunk • detailed interior and body shape Dimensions: 46 × 17 cm I would appreciate feedback - including negative opinions :) REBRICKABLE FLICKR INSTAGRAM

Thank you very much! :) -
Return to more angular shapes, however, the rear of the car is more fancy.... At least in the original - evaluate how it came out in my model :) I've been thinking about building this car for a couple of years. Even though the rear end is more important in this car, I traditionally started building it from the front - I guess to get a sense that at least the front is good... I postrationalize, it was not fully realized ;) However, I put quite a lot of energy into the headlights and I'm satisfied. The rear.... I think, the spike is cool, but the triangle on the tailgate could be better.... The construction of cut hose and sausages helps to imagine that there is glass. Without it, it would be a total failure. I wanted to use the fenders from the Camaro, and they only come in black and lime green.... As a result, it has more than 500 parts in common with the Chevrolet Camaro. It's far from an alternative model, but the Camaro is a good base.I could have still packed the plats, etc. in mottled colors from the Camaro, but I decided not to do that - on the other hand it would be a cost increase for people who will be buying all the parts from scratch. If they will, because sales of my instructions have never been staggering, and I have a feeling it's getting worse lately :) Well, but that's not why I build - it's kind of a habit with me already. I feel bad about not being in the process of building a new car. But building I no longer feel as good as I used to in the beginning :D Addiction? I would appreciate feedback - including negative opinions :) REBRICKABLE FLICKR INSTAGRAM
