  1. Very well done, looks great. It shows that you spent a lot of time with attention to detail.
  2. Strange, my copy of 42139, has the regular version soft springs.
  3. There is also four of those in the current Batman Selina motorcycle chase set and it is relatively inexpensive. I can see how it will be a handy part in future plans.
  4. Just finished up the new Police Station, I actually think it's a pretty damn good set too, unlike many. Anyway something I noticed but haven't seen anyone else mention is the pile of dog poo, got a giggle out of me and makes me want to use that trick a little more often. I know I am a oddball, lol.
  5. Talk about over the top, lol, good job
  6. Don't see the train set on that list.
  7. Huh, I thought that would be a space set
  8. Someone just posted over in town, 60336 will be Freight Train $189.99. No pictures. Not sure it's credible though, the store mentioned doesn't even appear to sell LEGO but we shall see
  9. Even if there were a valid reason for renaming it, it would always be refered to by it's original name, Technic Brick
  10. Sharp, looks great and very clean build, especially fond of the functions, well done again, as usual. Thanks for sharing, you have no idea how much it inspires me.
  11. Sounds like this new Rollercoaster will possibly have a loop in it, new elements? Around the same part count and price as the previous one, I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out as I wasn't that happy with the previous one. From what I understand it will be available in June.
  12. I actually experimented with some leftover sticker sheet, hand cut pieces, to make a curved section, just taped some lines on the road plate. It was okay but it looked like what it was, lol.
  13. Lol, I certainly hope they don't retire soon, that would be quite the bone head move on LEGO's part. I am in the camp that actually prefers them, to the older ones, anyway. I instead hope that they add curves and other useful variations but retire after only one year availability would be incredibly short sighted.
  14. By all means, continue to share your builds, I do like the steering solution.
  15. I have to say, having a mild interest in the subject matter, this looks damn near perfect to me anyway, really like the functions you chose to incorporate as well. I would love to see this as an official set and it certainly looks like it could be.
  16. Looks very good, well thought out. Roy G Biv would be proud. Actually think it looks so cool, I think I will tinker with something similar, on a much smaller scale though, quite inspirational, thanks.
  17. Looks great, I would like to see 47 minifigs crammed in there though, regardless like it a lot, nice work there man.
  18. Looks really good although it may sit a little high, those older trucks usually ride a lot lower than their present day counterparts. Love to see a belly shot, thanks for showing the build.
  19. I saw this and didn't really think much of it either, so I refrained from comment, sometimes that's just the way it is. I understand it needs to be simply and light to have any sort of performance, so I just assumed that is what the builder was going for, mission accomplished, looks like a fun car to drive. As far as looks go though it is lacking some refinement, which could easily be remedied. Some things I would change, the wing on the back, too big and high, looks like something you would see on a dirt track, like a super modified or midget racer. The wings on the sides, too big and look more like side pods on an open wheel racer. The driver compartment, is very small and boxy again like some dirt track racers, some things look unnecessary and a bit overdone, to many headlights and exhaust pipes. Also don't like how the front wheels stick out way past the fenders. Anyway most of it is just a matter of personal preference, so I would say it is definitely more than just a pile of bricks and might even be worth revisiting. As far as the snarky comment, yes not very constructive and definitely not what I would expect anybody to say about someone elses work, not a normal reply especially here on EB, so there is that too. It looks like something a person with not a lot of parts would put together and there isn't a damn thing wrong with that, I still do it from time to time, with plenty of parts.
  20. I think it would be a good fit simply because it is more stable and it also is not near as tall as some of the other setups, also seems to be something relatively new technology wise, not sure on that though. Basically hoping for something a little bit different from the usual. Anyway at this point it's all just speculation of course, just throwing it out there.
  21. There is quite the lengthy discussion going on as well, a little further down the page.
  22. I believe that is called the Power Boom setup, for very heavy lifting and stability. As I mentioned earlier, I hope that is the setup we get.
  23. Looks great and I must say the most impressive thing of all is that final picture. One of my favorite things is building B models of specific sets and you have really nailed it here. My all time favorite set for B models is 31070 Turbo Track Racer, I have built literally dozens of alternate builds with that set alone.
