  1. I would like to suggest you familiarize yourself will the rules you agreed to when you signed up, no big deal, just try to understand why things are done the way they are. Like reviving decade old threads, with nothing useful and having links in your sig. Also keep in mind the age requirement, which can occasionally be overlooked. Also I apologize if I seem to be mini-modding, just trying to help out.
  2. You know what, that looks pretty damn good. I especially like the proportions and the inclusion of knees. Well done my friend.
  3. Guilty, that and dusting, lol. Unpopular opinion; There is no wrong way to play with LEGO.
  4. Yes I had noticed that as well, good that it is finally available, does anyone know about it's use in current or future sets?
  5. I guess what I am trying to say is, if you run two motors on the same amount of current as one motor was getting, you gain little as you only get out what you put in, the same amount of power is just going to two motors instead of one. Now if you increase the current you will get a noticable performance gain.
  6. Ah very nice, I am glad to see the inverted plates on top to represent the water way. Looks good at this scale.
  7. Sure you can but I think the gains would be negligible as the same amount of theoretical power is now going to two motors rather than one. It would however help with traction, if that is an issue.
  8. I absolutely love this idea and am glad to be able to study it further, this is stuff I need to understand better. Thanks a ton.
  9. So looking at that double loop stunt set. It looks like the loops are made by using some trans clear track pieces, kind of like Hot wheels track. I assume these are new pieces? Or am I just not seeing it right, again, lol. Looks like the same loop as in the chimp set too, I guess it is a Technic panel, put together with friction pins.
  10. Hopefully an orange 69' with dual black racing stripes front to back. Chevrolet Competition Orange, or Hugger Orange.
  11. Yes, exactly what I did, a dinosaur market actually, lol. It is cool, the skeleton on the bench, in set 76948, can only be completed by purchasing 76945, which has the skull portion.
  12. Never played the game but might give it a try after seeing this, looks like there is some fantastic artwork.
  13. What keeps the the top layer of plates from falling off.
  14. Picked up 76948 and 76945 yesterday, as they go together. Something I find odd and rather short sighted to be honest, is the fact that you get the exact same mini-figures in 76948 that are in 76945, Owen and Rainn. At least they could have used a different variant. My Owen Grady collection is starting to rival my batman collection, some other characters would be most welcome.
  15. Forgive my ignorance please, as I only currently have one PUP train but it seems to me the whole point of having a smart hub and app, is so you can control two trains linked together as one with a single remote. I also assumed this was already doable without some sort of update to the firmware or software. Am I wrong? Can you control two different hubs with a single remote simultaneously.
  16. These all look really good, your building expertise has improved much. I love checking out this thread for updates and am very glad you are still active. Thanks I appreciate the effort.
  17. Honestly, unless there is recent data, that I don't know about, we absolutely have no clue about colors, skin texture and many other things are totally unknown and very well could have been zombie green, lol. Not even really sure what they looked like at all, only reasonable approximations. However I do find this years offerings, color wise, to be some of the best to date, I think for the most part they look pretty good. Love the Quetzalcoatlus but not very happy with the Triceratops, print colors suffer greatly from bleed through of background colors. The rest are decent enough.
  18. Those are some mighty big wheels, looks really cool, kind of unique too, not sure I have seen a drive setup like that before, nice work.
  19. Looking forward to seeing it, as I am about to disassemble that set, hopefully you get the picture thing worked out.
  20. Man I have been think of mocing up just such a creation, so of course I think that could be a great idea.
  21. I think they should do some disaster related sets, like rising flood waters, or some other climate change issues being dealt with.
  22. I really like those tires piled up like a boulder field, lol, good use for all those extra wheels.
  23. Nice update, some pretty cool stuff there. What set/sets would you recommend for someone that just wants to try out or tinker with Mindstorms to get started, or see if they even really like it. The Star Wars models are nice to see.
  24. Looks neat and I like it, if I were to change anything, it would be reshape the nose some, maybe even try to replace the system bricks with Technic. Still looks nice just how it is, good job, the colors seem to work very well too.
  25. You know for 50 years I have been "cringing" at the cost of LEGO, I am so happy that they are able to continue the trend.
