Been following this for awhile now, I finally am starting to understand just what you are doing, lol. Very well executed and great seeing it put to use, this is really cool and as you say opens up many possibilities.

Indeed, albeit more red on the box, more brown in the box. -

I think they would be better off oriented at a 90° offset, so the forked end is vertical. That way the LA can pivot to accommodate the extension. Looking forward to seeing this finished, thanks for showing us your progress. -
Jurassic World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

So does anyone else have issues with the printed colors on the Triceratops being different than what is on the box, on mine all the red coloring is brown and the little tan spikes around the head plate are light grey. I suppose it's normal considering it printed on dark grey, still you would think it could be better. -
Yes looks really cool and the brick built roadways look great. I really like, you are building the elevation so high, so you can make the river look so good. Nice start.

I always see these lulls, as a chance to throw in a couple of retro-comic based sets. -
Yes please, some very good art work on them wagons.

Yeah Target has it on the shelves already, looks to be a quick seller though, so grab one while you can. -
I not only think this is a great idea but it kind of makes sense too.

Request: Elves hair on minifigures

I sure hope the OP got the answer he was looking for, after all this time, lol. -
Thanks, yes I did glance through that thread but I just went ahead and verified I do have the correct amount and lengths by going through the entire 400+ page book, lol, so problem solved. Seems like there should have been an easier way though. There are some great mods in this thread, thanks everyone for sharing their solutions. I can see this will be a great set for B models, mods and mocs, so much so I really want another one.

So was finally able to pick up this great set and plan on doing some of the mods in this thread as I build. One issue I am having though is the hoses, I got 15 hoses in the bag, however in the back of the instructions, it says there should be 24, so it appears I am missing some, are there some in other bags, I don't see any? Also most of the lengths seem to be wrong, usually they are just slightly longer that what the call outs indicate, mine are either an inch or more to long or short, so I am not sure where they should go. Is it time to call TLG, or is this how it was for everyone else and it will work out? I hate to put it all together just to take apart to make it right. Is there a picture somewhere that shows all the hoses, lengths and where they go, this is getting very frustrating quick.

Good idea, I know my local Target has four on the shelf right now. -
General Part Discussion
Johnny1360 replied to Polo-Freak's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have found that even though those parts don't line up perfectly, they can be easily forced into compliance, by simply utilizing a second connection point, likely stresses the parts no doubt. I have also noticed they are mismatched in pairs, hard to explain but the mismatched ones generally match each other. So if two together don't match then try one of the other ones. So although they need to get it right the pieces are still quite usable. To be honest I am more disturbed by all the new black pins being bent, than this, regardless I still hope they remedy the situation soon.- 5,509 replies

So in the city sub-forum there is a description of the freight train, 33 track sections, plus much more. Apparently it has been listed on LEGO website, maybe it will be revealed today, pictures please. Sounds like about what was expected.

The Future of Technic
Johnny1360 replied to Paul B Technic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
And while I do agree with some of your points, I am pretty much the opposite, thankfully there is something for most of us. Whenever a set isn't exactly what I think it should be, I remind myself that regardless of what I think there are 7.9 billion people that may think differently. -
My 1000+ Set Classic Lego Collection

Very smartly done and simply amazing. Do you build some then re-box them and build some others rotating through the sets, or do you just continually obtain new sets? I definitely see some very desirable sets as well, looks like a lifetime of fun, enjoy. -

Pretty happy with the Quetzalcoatlus set, oddly the back of the plane perfectly accepts the dino's head and actually kind of locks in, so you can fly the plane with the Quetzalcoatlus locked into the plane. Weird because it looks to be made specifically for it and there is no cargo with the set. -
REVIEW: 76910 Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro and Aston Martin Vantage GT3
Johnny1360 replied to Oky's topic in LEGO Town
Very much enjoyed the review, sadly we seem to see less of these as video reviews seem to be what most want, so thanks for that. I am also impressed with the fun of building all the Speed Champions sets, they were very well done this year, dare I say my favorites since the theme has been around. So I am sure to be disappointed in the future, lol.- 14 replies
