Hello my name is Arijit and I am from India
Littleworlds replied to arijitdas's topic in Hello! My name is...
Hello Arijit! Welcome to Eurobricks (and to Lego in general). Its a pity to hear that Lego sets are so expensive in India. Since Europe and the USA are pretty saturated, one would assume that they would embrace a potentially huge market like India with affordable products to get people hooked. Anyway. I just had a look on your photos and I am very impressed. They are stunning! -
Absolutely lovely! The landscaping and buildings are really nicely done, with great attention to detail - and it all looks so cute! Stunning work!

MOC Herbie Love bug/Rally/Classic beetle WIP

These look excellent! Maybe a bit large for a beetle though, but the shaping is truly outstanding. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 18 Rumors and Discussion
Littleworlds replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Watching the review on Jangbricks today, I was quite surprised and disappointed about the police man being very limited. Personally I don't have any nostalgic feeling towards him but granted the prices for him will skyrocket, which is really a shame. Its a really good series actually with a lot of interesting parts and figures and I can see the appeal for newbies or impulse buyers - it doesn't needs to artificially create rarity. -
Very nice build. I like how you made the patch of land. That's really something different - and gives it a lot of texture. The vegetation and the slightly overgrown roof look great too.

There are some third-party light bricks that work with induction. I think its probably not the cheapest solution, but doesn't requires wiring or soldering as far as I can tell (I haven't tinkered with 3rd party lights by myself yet).

Nice diorama. Your builds fit well together with the fishing store. I also like your detail shots. Very lively scenes

I'm not particularily good with Chemistry either, but adrenalin would absolutely make sense. Nicely done!

Welcome to Eurobricks and welcome back to Lego in general! It's one of the nicest hobby one can have!

Looks lovely! So very colourful and happy. Nicely built and arranged. Sometimes the spark of an idea just develops into something beyond one's own expectations. Well done

Its quite a ghastly subject matter, but very well - ermm... 'executed'. Nice work!

Hmmm, I think they can be used as some decorative element for piping/columns.

Welcome to Eurobricks, Craig(ster)! Thats some impressive MOCs!

Hello and welcome to Eurobricks! Nice video. It must been quite difficult to keep everything in the right place during shooting. Very well done.

Lovely design. That's really steampunk as it should be. The TIE-Figher canopy is a clever idea and does really well!

This is really impressive! Such a compact, yet detailed and faithful interpretation. I wonder if the nose wont work better being 1-stud wide, but the 2-stud variant surely is more sturdy - so great job either way! I was also looking at the other cars you posted. Remarkable stuff! Very well done.

I just stumbled over your topic and am surprised nobody has commented on it yet - because this is simply amazing stuff! I love steampunk and your build really ticks all the boxes. So lush and despite its imposing size still skilfully detailed! My highest respect to you. This is really brilliant work. How long did it take you to plan and build it?

That turned out pretty nice indeed! The price is a bit on the steep end - well, Disney-license - but apart from that it totally works for me: Cute characters, clean and sleek lightcycle-design - just as it should be.

One of my favourite bands and albums!

Excellent ideas and designs! They add quite some realism and authenticity and are definitely food for thought.

Looks great and super cute! I especially like the little details, like how the meat on the cheeseburger slightly bends or the molten cheese running over the edge. Brilliant ideas!

Looks great! I very much like the style of the place and the use of bones and tusks as building elements. Works very well.

LEGO Fan Media Days 2017 - Interview with Mikael Psiaki
Littleworlds replied to Jim's topic in Special LEGO Themes
An excellent read! I found his view on the modulars and set design in general very insightful. Also good to hear there is still hope for classic themes. And the CMFs tell the same story. -
Rebuilding NexonKnights sets in the medieval era
Littleworlds replied to astolfo's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Hello astolfo. Now that could be really interesting! As deraven already said, Nexo Knights strayed a bit of the established medieval path. As in "path? There was a path?" and I find that quite a number of the sets went a bit too far, but there is certainly material for some medieval retro-modding. Maybe I can contribute something as well - lets see!- 2 replies

TLG's disappointing 2017 financial performance
Littleworlds replied to AmperZand's topic in General LEGO Discussion
When I look at the licensed sets that have been released in the last 12-24 months then I indeed get the impression that you can be really picky about which ones to get and you still wont have missed anything really. The number of sets seems excessive and the designs quite mixed. Some brilliant ideas go hand in hand with a lot of sets where my initial reaction was simply "seriously?". I think the prime example of these unnecessary sets was the Batman Spaceshuttle. That's so utterly uncalled for and not surprising me at all that a lot of the licensed sets stayed on the shelves. I think a change in this trend is already coming though. The new Harry Potter makes a good impression regarding the set design and for the price value for the Hogwarts Great Hall as well. I like the regular Lego themes a lot and for me that will always remain the core of Lego as a toy. As for licensed sets: fewer, but higher quality sets for a reasonable price seems the way to go here. Not flooding the shelves with randomness that got a licensed logo slapped on it.
