  1. They look really good. Excellent shaping and surface texturing.
  2. This is really awesome! At first glance you wouldn't identify it as a lego build. Super detailed, wonderfully arranged and built, just brilliant! Is it based on a real barbershop?
  3. That looks a bit unsafe! Happy new year!
  4. This is really cool. So much better than the official brickheadz. She looks very cute and spot on.
  5. Very impressive indeed. The facade and interior are beautiful, superbly detailed and really charming. Very lifelike ornamentation and decor ideas across the whole build. I especially like the cheese wedge floor tilings, the wine cellar and the entrances with their clever use of pieces.
  6. Very cool castle! I really like the complex, and quite realistic layout. It looks like it could been well spotted in real in this form. I also like the many subtle details giving it structure and feel - brilliant.
  7. Nice! I especially like that you used a lot of parts that were around already when the set came out. All in all a really good mod. You kept the design and enhanced it - well done!
  8. Looks fun! A pity they didn't make sets like these ones. There isn't much that is scarier than an army of cute little penguins who hobble and wobble after you without any remorse! Some really nice builds and character customisations. Love it!
  9. So cute! The shell is absolutely brilliant. Colours and pieces just fit together perfectly. Like they are made for building it! The head is also pretty clever with some creative ways of creating its shape. Good stuff! A lovely little guy with a lot of expression and cuteness.
  10. Thats really some cool characters. The space-cowboy captain quite reminds me of firefly, which is of course always good. I see quite some personality in them from the building-perspective alone already, and the backstories really make them come alive. I hope to see them all getting one, its a nice read!
  11. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  12. Its never too late! Welcome to the community. I hope you enjoy it here.
  13. If its a genuine set - fantastic news! Such a charming combination of old and new!
  14. Looks excellent! I'm not an expert in the train technology-department, but judging from the design point of view I like it really a lot.
  15. So beautiful! Wonderful outside texturing, that really shows off the possibilities Lego gives today. Snot-techniques, relief-bricks, arches, slopes - great combinations! The interior is equally enthralling. So lively and whimsical. All in all a absolutely amazing build. The colour choice for the outside works absolutely fine. I have seen buildings coloured like this before. An alternative would be accent-colours, like framing each window. This seems to have been actually used quite a lot in neoclassim.
  16. Your project sounds interesting, but to really being able to say more I need to see pictures what you got so far and, if posssible, of the inspiration you are building it after.
  17. Thats really sweet! I always figured Santa as somebody who has taste. Great styling!
  18. The inspiration for the current is my love to the classic castle theme, and the Black Falcons in particular. They had really a brilliant colour-sceme and iconic crest motive (I always liked the dark guys more!). My current avatar is a slightly modernized take. The cape just goes sooo well with it!
  19. This is very well done. Organic looking landscaping, lovely colours, a lot of dynamic in the water spray. Brilliant!
  20. This can't be! I demand you immediately start posting the advent calendar for next year, starting right after this year's christmas eve! Seriously, I enjoyed your pictures hugely!
  21. I was curious and had a look. I think this is the very same: Link The phone stand is pretty useless, but the rest works just fine.
  22. That was about two years ago on the UK site, so that might not help you much. But it was a 50x50 cm size one, for about 30 pounds. Search terms are light box and light tent.
  23. When I started Lego photography, I got a light tent with two LED lamps for a very reasonable price on amazon. Some have a more elaborated setup but it does the trick for me.
  24. Thank you for your well-written review! Its quite a charming set and it looks like you really get some decent value for the price. The photos are well arranged, but I would try a neutral surface and background. White cardboard, or a light tent, to make the subject stand out better.
  25. This is simply brilliant. Lush, with countless details (stonework, rocks, landscaping and vegetation), very appealing layout, harmonic colouring - there isn't anything really I could criticise on your build. It is simply beautiful. Where do you have the idea for this castle from? It looks somehow familiar. Something from a game maybe?
