  1. Quite interesting news. I enjoyed the older Bond films quite a lot when I was a child. Especially the Roger Moore ones are quite comical (do I need to mention Moonraker??), so that could work really well. But I think its going to be either a modern Bond/Aston or the DB5 really. Something in the scale of the speed champions sets would be nice.
  2. Very interesting article. The way you describe Billund reminds me on the Red Bull HQ in Austria, which is pretty much run by the company as well. Somehow Lego still feels more sympathetic to me though.? It is definitely food for thought about the sociological aspects though.
  3. Brilliant work @Frostbricks! Very inventive choice of pieces and layouts. It might have taken its time till it all came together, but the result just speaks for itself. Also congrats on being features at Brothers Brick - that's certainly deserved! ? ?
  4. They looks really good indeed. The modular rear pieces are almost genius! Detailing and colours wee also spot on. Excellent work.
  5. Hello Daniel and welcome to Eurobricks! See you around
  6. These are some excellent designs! Especially the robot is really brilliant. Very steampunky shaping on that one. The frog translator is of course just hilarious... something every household should have. I also like the rocket a lot. So simple, yet again spot on shaping. I would not know what to change on this one. It just works perfectly. The house looks very good too. The sanctum does well as a template for it. The added greenhouse gives a nice touch to it. The interior is maybe a bit basic and could need some more weird souvenirs from all over the world and outlandish contraptions (and better no pizza, maybe some Absinthe instead^^). All in all: amazing stuff!
  7. Looks good! I like how you depict the ships in the space scenes over several panels. Gives a lot of motion and flow. More please
  8. One can't see everything. I almost missed out on the underside, if it wasn't for your remark. So there is that
  9. Very nice how you pull its retro-futuristic look off. Very Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon! The wings are maybe a bit too clean for my liking, but it certainly looks elegant, fast and smooth.
  10. You can resize pictures with programs like photoshop, irfanview or gimp (the latter two are free), then uploading photos without loss of quality should not be a problem. As for the build itself, I can't say much yet. Is it modelled after something in particular? If not, it better fits in the Technic subforum.
  11. Hello Hans! Welcome to Eurobricks! See you around
  12. Nice plane indeed! And an inventive solution for the wing struts. I would have wondered too if they are really strong enough, but what works, works (and the main load is probably taken by the center struts anyway). They definitely look realistic and more elegant than trying to fiddle something together with telescope-pieces or lightsabre hilts. That's always a compromise.
  13. Hello Lorenzo! Welcome to Eurobricks. I'm looking forward to see pictures of your MOCs!
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks and welcome back to Lego, Yoyo. See you around!
  15. I wouldn't hold my breath, that there is anything interesting for AFOLs coming out of this, either. But the kids might be happy.
  16. You made something "ugly", but did it in such a lovely way that it looks really good. You don't see such gritty realism stuff much in Lego. Great "character study" of a building!
  17. Some post-apocalyptic sets and CMFs would be awesome. Ninjago is going in a similar direction with their 2018 wave, so maaaaybe we are lucky in that respect. I'm still not the least intersted in Minidolls though!
  18. Hello Marc, welcome to Eurobricks! Funny you mention you want to build more cars like the Porsche, since they just released the Bugatti Chiron last week...
  19. Probably I'm quite fine with that by myself. As a themed showpiece it really offers enough visual appeal to not mind that too much. And its always cost-cutting anyway when it comes to design sets under the three-digit price point. From that perspective, it offers a lot, compared to others sets.
  20. This makes a lot of the regular modulars pale in comparison. Beautifully built, with a lot detailing/little scenes going on everywhere, very likeable characters, lovely subject matter and as bonus a vehicle with a lot personality as well. Simply a great MOC!
  21. I watched his review this afternoon as well. Always good stuff and I like that he keeps pointing things like this out. I wonder if its possible, with the track-pieces in the set, to fix this issue with a different layout. Or maybe making the cars heavier?
  22. Sounds familiar! I'm a keeper. so I don't take my MOCs apart usually. So with new pieces and (hopefully) getting better as a builder over time, I tend to revisit my older stuff and tweak/rebuild them too.
  23. I suggest to also mix colours and textures a little. Pure grey bricks can look quite bland, but giving the walls spots of tan, dark tan or greens (for moss) plus some snot-technique can really enhance a castle and give it personality. A lot of castles were also not completely stone-built, but featured tudoring for many of its buildings (especially facing the inside courtyard). Palisades were also quite common, especially in the earlier centuries (lets say roughly around 1000 ad) and on smaller castles.
  24. Looks very good! I like the consequent use of snot technique and taking full advantage of it for shaping cockpit and wings. Nifty little fighter!
  25. Hello Maloof! Welcome to Eurobricks! I got the Detective's Office for christmas. It was fun to build and is beautiful to behold, but I found the interior space rather limited.
