  1. Will the the 42079 Forklift be comparable in size to the 8416 Forklift or smaller?
  2. Cool that you will be publishing the instructions in the form of a book. I hope the book will contain some of your other great creations as well!
  3. Great idea! I’m very much looking forward to building this! I had bought the 8053 just to build the harbour crane.
  4. The 42082 looks good, but I just had the impression the cabin was a bit small in proportion and I don’t see what is rough terrain about this crane. No need, keep it simple! It was time for a worthy successor of the 855 that I build again recently, so I’m looking forward to this set. Now lets just hope that the price does not follow the 42070 trend!
  5. I have put my Unimog on a shelve with 30 cm height. Like this you get an idea how it will look.
  6. Q1: I discovered Lego is my medication against stress. A moment of mindfulness ... Although I also catch myself procrastinating: I will finish this section before I will write this e-mail/note. Q2: I would love to, but it looks like we will have a Grey & Rainy Christmas in Luxembourg. Did you know Luxembourgish is the only language in the world with a word for two consecutive days of rain? ... Weekend! ;-) Q3: Yes ... I cracked and bought the 42069 so that I will have something new to build + the BB-8 for my daughter so that we can build the @Sariel mod together Q4: No Q5: Yellow :-) Q6: Another theme I'm interested in are Lego Creator Dinosaurs Q7: My favourite year is 1977 for old school bricks and 2016 for studless Technic
  7. So far I have been mainly building official Lego Technic sets, in particular the flagship sets, and some C-models. I have therefore stored my sets in the original box or in ziplock bags when I don’t have the original set. I do not have a dedicated building room. I typically sort the pieces I need in plastic DIY containers before building. I would like to build some big MOCs this winter (Sheepo’s Landrover Defender and Lucio Switch Fire Engine). I have the pieces, but I don’t know how to proceed. If I remove pieces from one set, it will no longer be complete and how will I know what I have removed. Should I keep a list and put all pieces back to the original set when I am dismantling the MOC? It is not rational because I do not intend to sell my sets, but anyway, that is my problem. Any suggestions how to proceed are much appreciated!
  8. 35 cm as on the front of the box. If you turn the crane to the side it is 30cm. Length with crane and snowplough is 68 cm. This is one of my favourite Technic models and a great display model. I can send you a picture if you want ...
  9. Online or locally? I have not seen the 42074 yet at the usual online suspects in Germany ...
  10. Really cool! I’m as always in awe with the perfection of your MOCs and your attention to detail. Plus, this time with instructions! I really appreciate it. You should do so more often ... I ordered one immediately as a present for my daughters (amazon.de has it on offer for 70 EUR). Will be a fun project to build during Christmas! Thanks!
  11. Wow! Congratulations on a great MOC! Cool end of the video with the real fire being extinguished. :-) This tank could also be used in other builds such as @Lucio Switch airport fire engine. I would be interested purchasing one.
  12. Displaying the price without VAT is misleading. The price is not 116 EUR, but 142 EUR.
  13. Cool! I love the funny details, like the golden figure with his stick and the turning eye. :-)
  14. Nice interview and cool to see your creations next to the real things. Looks like you had lots of visitors!
  15. Fabulous! A real masterpiece! You are really one of my favourite builders. You will see if this selling scheme works, but I doubt it very much. I would suggest selling the instructions at a premium price of say 100 EUR instead.
  16. I love it! Lego should offer this as an official set.
  17. Thanks @afol1969 for the great instructions! I have downloaded them and will add this to my to build list ...
  18. I really like your alternative proposal how this set could and should have been. The original set is a display model, this is a real Technic model. I like for instance your solution for the radar. Simple, but indeed another function added. I also like your solution for the windows. Much better than using stickers and the looks remind me of a Dutch trawler. Will you publish the final model on Rebrickable?
  19. Just saw that the local supermarkets are all selling this set for 179 EUR in view of Saint Nicolas/Christmas. In one you get an extra 20% if you have a member card, but I will still not buy it. It will be the only flagship set in recent years I will not buy ...
  20. Amazing! I still remember your previous Ropa engine. It was one of the first MOCs I saw after coming out of my dark ages and I was flabbergasted by what one can do with Lego Technic. Seeing your new creation, I am again flabbergasted and very much looking forward to the video. This should absolutely appear in the EB Hall of Fame!
  21. Great entry! You have my vote! :-)
  22. I’m not a scale modeler, but I follow the creations here with much interest. I think the introduction of a minimul scale leads to an arbitrary separation of models and above all builders. A forum is a community. Why force someone to post in another forum when his buddies or people whose opinion he values are in this forum? Just because the Forum is called today “Technic, Mindstorms and Model Team forum”? What prevents you from creating a “Scale modeling and Model Team Forum” and a “Technic and Mindstorms Forum”. Just my two cents ...
  23. I’m always looking forward to your new MOCs. I have build the 42009 c model with much pleasure. Keep up your great work!
  24. I’m always looking forward to your new creations and I really appreciate that you always make instructions! I still remember first seeing this car in Auto Motor und Sport when I was a student. A reall classic!
