  1. Looking forward to see your progress on this monster ... Good luck and enjoy!
  2. On the contrary, I think B-Models are essential: they provide inspiration and show newcomers to Technic what you can do with a set. They are a first step to MOCs. For others like me it is just the pleasure of building an additional set. A good B-Model can actually be the reason to buy a set: I’m thinking of 8053, 8485, 42078. Luckily there a brilliant Lego builders like @nico71, @M_longer, @jb70, @Tomik And others who create C-Models with instructions when Lego lets us down ...
  3. Fantastic C-Model @nico71! As always, I appreciate very much that you are making instructions. Your C-Model really adds value to the 42082 set. This should have been the B-Model!
  4. Good luck @Jim! It’s always good to change and challenge yourself from time to time. I have changed function recently and am still learning ...
  5. Very cool! I’m impressed by your implementation of this original idea and by the folding speed for such a large size. Are you controlling the wings with a remote control?
  6. My jaw has hit the floor! I’m a big fan of your creations, having discovered your work through your American locomotives, but this creation is equally impressive. At first sight I did not realise it was Lego. Then when I look at the details, I admire the creative use of Lego pieces including Lego Technic, for instance the “wieldop” on the wheels. Impressive!
  7. Very impressive. I think it is the first time I have seen a Lego Technic motor cycle with integrated PF motor. The integration is visually very smooth. I’m looking forward to the video to see the functions you describe. A great way to introduce yourself to Eurobricks!
  8. Thanks @Countdown and @Bricktrain for your insights in video usage in cranes. I’m always fascinated when I see cranes in action ...
  9. Thanks for the link. Looks indeed fun! I like how Austrian Lego Fan shows his speed build
  10. Out of curiosity and since we have people with knowledge of cranes here. Do modern cranes have build-in video equipment so that the crane driver can see what he is doing or does he rely on collaborators on the ground?
  11. Impressive MOC! I also like the fact that you have looked for landscape settings in your video that give the impression of the same scale as your model.
  12. I think the possible flaws only invite to improve the model. I’m sure the ultimate version will be awesome! I’m very much looking forward to the build as always with each new Technic model ...
  13. Check out the C-Model index discussion to see what C-Models exist: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=123544
  14. It was a one day offer around 10 days ago: 188 EUR but adapted to 185 for Luxembourgish VAT. The prices fluctuate on a nearly daily basis. You can use idealo.de to get an idea of the price evolution.
  15. I pre-ordered mine on amazon.de for 185 EUR. Just got the message it was shipped today ... :-)
  16. I’m still amazed you saw the potential to build a star destroyer from a bulldozer! Very original and well executed! I also don’t like mixing my sets and am therefore a big fan of C-models.
  17. Skip one month, put the money aside and buy the Porsche. In the meantime build the B-Model, a C-Model if available, build the A-Model again and the month is over. Have fun!
  18. @siddparkar I have not much to add to what @Ngoc Nguyen has answered already. I think it all comes down to the question what type of builder you are and what you do with the sets. Do you build the sets to display them? Do you build and then create your own MOCs? Depending on these questions and the number of sets you have, the set recommendations may be different. Finally, what excites you? Is it airplanes? Get the 42066 over any other set. Is it super cars? Get the Porsche, etc. I like the Ocean Explorer, but it is not in the same league as the Claas, nor price range. But again, it depends on the questions above and what you like ...
  19. Interesting machine, I have never seen one in reality. If the picture is your reference, shouldn’t something like the 8043 be your basis? Anto’s model is great, maybe you can make it longer and move the connection point to the arm behind the cabin ...
  20. Indeed an excellent B-Model that may tempt me to actually buy this set ... Except for the VW bus I have not bought any of the other Creator cars because I am more interested in the building than the display of cars.
  21. Great collaborative work and indeed before the set is even sold through non-Lego stores! It makes the purchase of this set even more attractive, knowing that you can build the original, this great B-model and probably the pimp up my Bugatti version ...
  22. They want you to buy two to get an even number of parts ... ?
  23. I propose Sheo’s latest creation the Caterpillar D11T Dozer for the HOF:
