  1. That should be Russian Orthodox Christmas (7 January), because Greek Orthodox Christmas is the same day as Catholic Christmas ...
  2. Bought yesterday a new sealed 42052 Helicopter set for 59 EUR in a local supermarket. Had not intended buying this set, but could not resist at that price ...
  3. Amazing! I like this much better than the official B model. Indeed ...
  4. You can order the missing piece(s) here: https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/replacementparts You will receive them a couple of days later by mail free of charge.
  5. I had two missing grey axle pin 3 (http://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-axle-pin-3-11214). Have build the set as standard first. Will take it apart and build it with the Didumos mods. Looks fabulous! Also interesting to see it as evolution of the Lego chassis/super cars. Will post a picture tonight ...
  6. Very inspiring. Thanks for the instructions. I will definitively build them ...
  7. I had not imagined that there would be so many great entries when I saw the announcement of this contest ... and then to imagine that some great ideas such as the flight simulator were not submitted finally. Choosing six was extremely hard ... My compliments to all participants! 16: 106: 64: 432: 33: 236: 1
  8. It looks to me that they forgot to put a seat/saddle on the bike ...
  9. Thanks! Will you publish them on Rebrickable? Makes it easier to find the necessary pieces ...
  10. Maybe a fourth rule: There are a number of sets for which alternative models have been developed, the so-called C-models. For some you have to pay a small fee for the (professional) instructions This gives you the opportunity to buy one set, but build multiple models. There are excellent C-models for sets like the 42009 (Mr Tekneex, Designer Han), but interestingly also for smaller sets (search for instance for users tomik and grohl666). There is a C-model index thread, but I have the impression it is not maintained.
  11. I ordered a pair of stickers as well. Excellent service from Walter, received the stickers in no time. I like the attention to detail. Even the envelope colour matched the GT3 RS! Can't share a picture yet as I have not yet build the Porsche, but will start soon. Ciao! Willem
  12. Thanks! The top video shows nicely the opposite movements of the two cylinders.
  13. I had missed this one! Quite incredible ... Will you submit it in the official submission thread?
  14. Very interesting to have followed your thoughts and struggles with the implementation, but the result is there! For the video it would have been interesting to have a shot from above while riding so that you can see the movement of the two cilinders. Good luck!
  15. You are right, I mixed up the projects. Still impressed with the result!
  16. Even if you would not participate in the competition, I think the forum members would be very interested in seeing this thing work. Will you post a video?
  17. I have followed your progress with interest and am impressed with the result. Nice touch to show the locomotive next to a real rail track. Good luck!
  18. I had to look many times to each picture to see that it was Lego. Then I thought, wow impressive, but Model Team style. Then I saw the video ... my jaw has dropped. All functioning, RC and all so well hidden??? Absolutely amazing! One of the best creations I have seen here! My compliments!
  19. Amazing! I'm very curious to see how this works ... Very impressed with the level of all the TC10 entries and very inspiring to see so different and so high quality submissions :-) Makes it very difficult to choose a winner!
  20. Great idea and implementation! Watched the video with much interest. Fascinating to see how it works ..
  21. I would also recommend looking in your local small toy store for any forgotten packages. I have been able to find last year the sets 8258 and 8043 for their at the time official Lego price. Alternatively, look for online small adds sites. I have bought most of my Lego Technic sets used from the Netherlands from a site called Marktplaats.nl. It is not as safe as ebay, because there are no ratings. I see that the prices of the 42009 are increasing. The 8043 is one of the most sought for sets and that is unfortunately reflected in the price. Good luck!
  22. I finally ordered the Porsche this morning. 199 GBP on amazon.co.uk. With the low pound thanks to Brexit this is more or less equivalent to 225 EUR. :-) Good prices as well for the other 2016 2H sets ...
  23. Thanks for all your great instructions. I have just downloaded the PDFs. Looking forward to building some this winter. Looking forward to your next project! Willem
