  1. Reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold! - Bill Cipher
  2. You got me; I... am Steve! As a child, I yearned for the mines... but something always got in my way. As for you first question, does this thread provide a good enough answer?
  3. @Lyichir, I don't think there is a 2025 topic yet.
  4. Thanks for the kind words @Barry_Smith! If you want to see my take on the XL-15 in an alternate color scheme, see here - it's not quite CS but it's the next best thing: Blacktron 1!
  5. nice profile pic! Long live Blacktron! As for the flat vs. globe debate, everyone knows the only logical shape of the LEGO World is a cube. ..or was, until the imagination nexus got corrupted and it blew up, as shown here.
  6. Best GWP: Micro Rocket Launchpad Best D2C?: Natural History Museum Best set under $50? : Aston Martin Vantage Safety Car & AMR23 (because GREEN!) Best theme? Friends (hands down, no question!) Best Minifigure? Film Noir Detective Best Set? Castle Bed and Breakfast or Olly and Paisley's Family Houses (It's a tie... couldn't decide between these two amazing Friends sets!) Worst overall LEGO product: Over the Moon with Pharrell Williams Worst overall LEGO theme: Peppa Pig
  7. I got my Bestseller order from November 16th yesterday. 30+ extra 2x2 DBG gray tiles, about 10 short of another tile type, double the silver grille tiles amount, and a single part I didn't order. (and no, it wasn't a exciting / special part!) Not complaining about that - not in the slightest! - but I just thought I'd mention what happened so people would know.
  8. Apologies. I thought it was just Arkham we were getting. The DC comics thread is a bit hard to follow!
  9. I never want to hear they can't do My Own Train sets (or even more trains in general) ever again because it uses up too many SKU slots... this F1 series of Speed Champions sets proves they just hate train fans. It's like they're thumbing their nose at us!
  10. Spidey-dinos?! Xalax 2.0 / CMF cars!? just ONE DC Comics set?! It's the early 2000's bad decisions all over again! Galidor, Town Jr, and Jack Stone say hello, and send warm regards from the nineties themes Belville, Roboriders and Znap! They've also killed a few good colors (Trans-brown, fluorescent shades) recently too... What Next!?!
  11. Official pics are out for CITY according to brickset! My fav is the scrapyard - especially the claw crane!
  12. Eurobricks is an English speaking site, @LegoAlf. Can you please edit your post to put it into English?
  13. They been doing Duplo train sensors for over 20 years, or even 30 years if you count this reverser part.
  14. The only way it could get more British is to have Mary Poppins flying in the air, the TARDIS parked on the corner, and the Beatles playing on the blue building's roof. Oh, and Harry Potter peeking around the corner.
  15. Just so you are aware, Eurobricks has gotten into really hot water in the past with LEGO over leaked pics being posted. The general rule of the thumb nowadays is you can't post the leaked pictures themselves, you can't post a link to leaked pics on other sites, but you can say something like "website ABC has a leaked image of set XYZ if anyone is interested", as that gives people something to look for / something they can Google. Hope this helps you in the future!
  16. @NielsB Leaked images aren't allowed on Eurobricks... it's a good way to get banned by posting them. @Jim this image in his post appears to be actually uploaded to EB.... might take some doing to get rid of it!
  17. We may be collectively nuttier than a year-old fruitcake, we may be in an Aslume, but we are nice to people regardless! (except Turtle... he got banned for being a bigot) LONG LIVE THE DC ASLUME THREAD!
  18. I agree these figs should have airtanks, but if you don't like the visors you can just not put them on - It's not like they are glued on the helmets!
  19. Models finished in real life - pictures added, and text updated in the first post! @LL1982 @The Island Chronicles (you are tagged because you posted in this thread before, and i thought you'd like to see the finished MOC!)
  20. yes, it was.
  21. Lego was founded in the 1930s. Don't know for sure about the copywrite part of your question, but I would assume that they would have started doing that around the late 50's (when the 2x4 brick was patented) to protect the brick from copycats.
  22. Three more LDD models added to the first post today, 11/15/24. These new models are: Outpost 13 Transport ship "Havok" Armored troop ground vehicle "Marauder" These three will be built as funds allow, with the first on the list being Outpost 13, for which construction has partially commenced. (as seen above)
