I have but one question and one simple request: Does the crank start break / rip your arm off if you aren't quick enough to let go when the engine finally turns over like on a real Model T? Here's the request: I NEED a Speed Champions Model T / Model A (or maybe truck versions of both too?) My deceased grandfather (born 1918, died about 15 years back) learned to drive on a Model TT (Model T as a truck) at a very young age after buying his license at the general store. (He never took a driving test in his life AFAIK, and drove up until the late 1990s!) so it would be cool to see a Model TT truck in LEGO - preferably in 6 wide. (I'd also take a Model A, as I got to ride the rumble seat of one of those to visit him once before he died.)

You can't change the colors AFAIK - everything you have is what you have.

Adding that (along with Pokemon and One Piece) to the list of things I won't be getting. I never was into anime stuff beyond (classic!) Speed Racer, and collecting trading card games was never my shtick. Heck, I was right in the target demographic for all three of these shows when they were relatively new, and I found them totally odd. But don't listen to me: I was one of the like three kids on Earth who liked the Galidor TV show! (Hey LEGO, when we getting a revival of that theme? )

EB isn't meant to host photos. You have to upload them elsewhere (like Flickr, for example )and link them into your post @sixf00t4. Also, @clicky, the chemical MEK is extremely hazardous and cancer causing when curing. LEGO uses it for LEGOLAND, but they have directable vents they keep close to the build to keep it away from the workers. Just letting you know!

Ask and you shall receive @Stereo! Included in this Bricksafe page is a LDD file* and a picture of parts not included in the file that you need to complete it if you so desire. Attaching these parts to the MOC should be relatively easy to figure out, especially if you use the official 40913 instructions as a guide. If you build it, be sure to post pictures! *LDD files are easily convertible to Studio files, then you can add almost all the missing parts in except for the tires. (they are not in any program yet)

I liked the January 2026 LEGO Gift With Purchase (set 40913 - Vintage Parade Car) when it was revealed but I didn't like it enough to spend two hundred bucks to get it. So, I waited until instructions came out, made as much as I could digitally, (while keeping track of the 29 parts not in LDD) and modified it a little bit in a scant few places. This is one of the two color schemes I decided to build the 1950s-style sports car in - the other has parts still coming to me in the mail. Here we see the front view of the car with it's owner. The rear of the car. The model can seat two figures inside, as in the original GWP set. Now, about that second upcoming car model: I was faced with multiple paint job options for bodywork and trim that are buildable in real life while redesigning it, which I narrowed down to those listed as follows below (in no particular order): Dark Blue / white - the original from the set, and a very classy color scheme Black / white - also classy, but kind of looks like a police car Orange / white - very snazzy, but perhaps a bit too bright for a '50s car Red / light gray - while it's nice, the taillights really blend into the bodywork with this one Blue / light gray - my brother really likes this one tan / light gray - a bit bland Twenty-nine parts in twelve part types are missing from each car, but I assure you they are all buildable in real life! Any thoughts / guess as to what the second car I'm building will be?

I would tend to agree with 2009, it's smack in the middle of LEGO Renaissance era (my own term) of 2005 - 2014. CITY started in 2005 and things began to turn around, and at the other end The Lego Movie started the trend of Lego being taken seriously by the main stream (speculating investors, aftermarket going nuts, etc. are among the downsides to this!), along with the TLG becoming more like a large corporation than a family run business around this time too. My LEGO timeline map goes like this: wooden era - 1930s to 1960s innovation era - 1958 to 1978 golden era - 1978 to 1995 declining era - 1995 to 2005 renaissance era - 2005 - 2014 gone mainstream era - 2014 - 2020 post-covid / adults welcome era - 2020 - ?

I was 7 or 8 when the original Shrek came out, and I wasn't impressed with it or the sequels. I will be skipping this LEGO theme.

Speaking of the BvSmobile, Brickset posted a review of it today, in case @Mandalorianknight or anyone else was wanting to see it in depth. Personally, I wish it was more black and used the two old canopies instead.. but I understand the molds are long gone by now for that.

*sigh* And here we go again.... I'm not gonna waste my breath arguing with you @danth about this issue, as it's as pointless as screaming into the wind. Mark Stafford is (was?) a user here on EB. Why don't you direct you questions towards Nabii if you don't believe me and see if he responds? He worked on Alien Conquest and SPIII and still works there (unlike Faber AFAIK), so he could most likely comment on Galaxy Squad. You could also search for the old threads and do research yourself on the matter instead having me prove you wrong, as you are the one taking issues with what anybody says that contradicts you and your beliefs.

If I remember correctly, 2013's Galaxy Squad was a flop at the time or at very least didn't meet expectations, and the same goes for Alien Conquest from 2011, which had a whole wave canceled according to Mark Stafford in an interview with Brick Journal over a decade ago. Space themes haven't seem to have sold well since SPIII or even before, with the (arguably fantastic and gone to soon) Blacktron Renegade being the latest example of that as it went End Of Line in under a year. Of the five classic themes from the start of minifigures, only Town / City thrives today. Trains is a once-in-a-blue-moon thing or rolled into City (depending on the set), while Pirates, Castle, and Space are sadly reduced to occasional throwback items or BDP exclusives, although space has been seen in City too in recent years. These last four themes just don't test as well with kids on thier own, and thus they don't make them. Also, they the retro adult sets are spread out in a drip-feed fashion as to not over-saturate the market. Hope this answers your questions @zeeverse.

I tried pricing out a large Blacktron modular building with over 1000 parts (that's minus the 700 parts for interior details). It cost over $220 according to PAB standard, and still needed $60 of older parts from Bricklink. Then I tried a Bricklink for almost everything but the window panes, as nobody had that many. In all, it was much cheaper to do the latter method - it wasn't even 200 for the whole thing, maybe 180 before shipping and taxes. For some things, Bricklink loses out on (rare parts in large quantities) but in most cases Bricklink is cheaper than LEGO.

Reminds me a bit of WOPPR from WarGames... which started life in the movie as a computer playing tic-tac-toe. Just don't give your LEGO creation the nuclear arsenal codes! (It also reminds me of Charles Babbage's difference and analytical engines) Great work on this non-electric gaming computer MOC, and remember - the only way to win is not to play!

My oldest is a slabbie / stage extra / pre mini-figure from 1980 in all-black I bought as a statue, which predates me by about 14 years. The first figure I remember owning was the Bionicle happy meal toys, and the first minifig that I actually remember (there were more, but they are lost to time) was green-jacketed 2003 Johnny Thunder from Orient Expedition.... my father actually still has it and the plane I made him at that time, as it sat on his work desk for 21 years until his retirement.
