  1. Huh. Tough choice! I would have to narrow it down to two sets: Freeing Dobby if I can't pick a set that's not buyable. (The reason is Lucius Malfoy's suit) Otherwise, Diagon Alley would be my favorite set, just by how it looks. Pics included: Diagon Alley Freeing Dobby (Remember, it's for the suit. ) Cool topic!
  2. Sorry for bumping this, I just wanted to update the topic. The bus has been ordered, and should be here around Christmas. (I ordered it on December 2nd, the last day for before Chritmas LDD orders.) I already have the windows, headlights, and staircase, so it should not take long to build. Oh, and another thing! I have Mideval Market Village and am hopeing to get Diagon Alley as soon as it comes out on January 1st. So, as a teaser, here are the pictures I have assembled. The assembled buildings with my 2007 train station. The town map and statistics. The only things I don't have are Diagon Alley and a RC Railroad switch (left). Sorry if it's to big, I didn't think anone could read it if it wasn't that big. (The words blur at smaller sizes.)
  3. Thank you eveyone who replied. I have no plans of building this in real life, sorry. (They don't make some suits in the colors I chose, such as the Classic space suit, and the open vest.) Apart from those suits, it could be done. Also, the red /white VW van was chosen because I don't have a white old VW Beetle model. The other car (the black one) is actually a MOC. It just so happens there is a black car in the background on the right hand side of the actual album cover. I was just lucky in using a model that looks somewhat correct. And fianlly, the speed limit is a little high, but it was the best I could find. By the way: It's really odd that I was listening to John Lennon's song "Imagine" when I read lightningtiger's post about the 30th Avniversary of John Lennon's death... scary huh?
  4. I decied a while back to do these pictures, (I'm a Beatles fan) but I forgot about them and just recentley found them again. So, here it is: Lego Road! The LEGO version The orginal picture Picture showing their faces and clothes. Notice the small changes in my version: I put in a Volkswagen Micro Bus instead of a Beetle. (Couldn't make a Beetle, so I went with the next best thing, a Micro Bus.) Anyway, here are the automobiles by themselves: The Front The back. Another thing: I am in LEGO Universe, and if you look up my property, Summoner's Palace, you will find I have two head stones on the property. One is for Maxwell Edison, (Song: Maxwell Silver Hammer) and the other for Rocky Raccoon. (Song: Rocky Raccoon). As you can guess, they are both from Beatles songs. My username in LEGO Universe is Murdoch17, so if you want to to lookk at my property, you can go ahead. Questions and Comments are welcome. Thanks for reading!
  5. Hmmm... good idea! I think I will change it... Onyx Night kinda has a nice ring to it. Thank you!
  6. Hello again! I hinted at this engine in my Black Emerald Night topic. Yes, I know I edited these photos, but only because I put the wrong tile on the engine. I orginally had a white tile in a certain spot on front and rear. I then relaized how ugly it looked and replaced it with black. I forgot to replace the pictures tohugh. Well, enough talking. Here it is: My Black Diesel Engine. Front /side view Rear view Front view Side view Overall views and statisitcs Hope you like the pictures. I plan to update as soon as possible with real pictures. Thank You!
  7. Thank You for making my figure! I really like him! I am going to put him in my signature RIGHT NOW. Thanks again!
  8. I wish the LEGO Designer file for this model was avalible. The reason being I love this engine so much, I want one for myself! It really is a great model. Thank you for sharing this model, but I can't understand why you don't give the model file. Sorry, I just really like it. EDIT: Nevermind, I found the LDD file at MOCPages! Sorry for this useless post!
  9. Hello, I'm Murdoch17. I have been watching Euro Bricks for 6 months now, and finally signed up quite recentley. I used to have a Train Shed, (10027) a 10128 Train Crossing, High Speed Train, (set 4511) and a couple of trains cars (set 10158). Alas, I destroyed them for parts back in 2006. Nowadays, I have an Emerald Night, (made in black) a custom black / red diesel engine, a Toy Story train, and 4 train coaches ordered from LEGO Digital Designer. I plan on ordering Diagon Alley as soon a possible, because it will be used with my Medieval Market Village to make a old fashioned town. I have already made 1 post here, and I hope to do more soon. ==Murdoch17==
  10. Thank you for your suggestion. I like the idea, I'm just afraid if I do take it apart, I wouldn't be able to put back together. (I did that to my first Emerald Night!) I did do your idea to my Diesel engine, though. Thank You, and I've included the diesel engine's picture.
  11. Hey, sorry to bother you, but can you do my figure? Thank you! P.S. Love your artwork!
  12. Okay: I changed the number plate on this engine to this one. It looks a lot better now... I just don't have enough of this parts! Thank goodness for Bricklink! Here are updated LDD pics: Enjoy! P.S. I am the one in the glasses, in case your wondering.
  13. Thank you all for responding! I am very suprised I got such fast replys. I was afraid I would never get noticed. Thank you again! ==Murdoch17== EDIT: I wish I could post the Lego Digital File. Unfortunatley, last time I tried with Brickshelf, I got a virus, and Flickr won't let me upload it. Oh well...
  14. I orginally built a bus like this out of most of set #4755 Knight Bus. It had a curved rear stair case, and was eventually destroyed back in 2005. I then rebuilt it again in red in 2007, destroyed in 2007. Back in 2009, I thought about rebuilding it once again, this time in black to match the stairs. Now, I have put this together in LDD first. I've already collected the parts that are not buyable, plus the windows. Someday I will have this bus! The part that's missing in LDD: My favorite view: the front / side: The side: The full front: The rear, showing the hole where the stairs are supposed to go: Hope you like it, Questions & Comments are welcome. Thanks for reading!
  15. These are the parts I would in LDD's Universe mode: I really would like it to finish my Double Decker Bus in LDD. It's so frustrating to have a half finished MOC!
  16. I know that people have done this to an Emerald Night before, but I thought it would be interesting if I made it into black, with some certain modifications. AKA: A wrap-around bolier, and this part: for the number plate. Anyway, I have done this in real life, but until I get real pictures, the LEGO Digital Designer pics will have to suffice... for now. Here are the links: No.1 Is an overall view No.2 Is a front / side shot, but without drivers due to lack of parts in LDD No. 3 The full side shot. I even added a custom 3 wheel tender. No. 4 This part has since been changed to a better design that includes a gauge piece. No.5 Mini shot orginally done by Herby's New LEGO Train Depot. I redid it in black, with "No.1" on it's side. Thanks, and Comments + Questions welcome.
  17. Thank you all for replying! I was afraid I would never be noticed. I have changed my Avatar to look like my minfigure in real life.(plus that Harry Potter car I told you about.)It's amazing: the head I used on that figure looks so much like my real face it's scary. Now I just have to change my signature. Thank you once again for letting me join Euro Bricks!
  18. Hello! I am Murdoch17. My favorite LEGO themes are Trains, Star Wars, and Town / City. I have been reading Euro Bricks since late 2009. I have made a black Emerald Night, and an old Harry Potter car, set number 4728, in black. I also have a 4 foot x 8 foot railroad / town layout filled with Custom models. I am even a member of LEGO .com, Brickset and I went to the most recent Gateway LUG meeting. Thank you for reading.
