Do you have a lot of LEGO sets, which occupy a lot of living space? Nope, sets are in a small room/large closet Did you buy many LEGO sets, but never open. and keep it unopened for years? Unfortunately yes, but not for resale. Lack of display space at the moment. Did you buy many LEGO used pieces but still sitting in the bins and never have time to sort them out? No, all pieces are sorted. Do you have have many unfinished MOCs from..like years? Just two. Got stuck on trying to figure out how to finish one. Haven't really started the other. Do you keep all the instruct books, all the boxes..even the LEGO club magazines. the sticker sheets and LEGO catalogs? even the plastic number bags?? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes. Do you think "I have too many LEGO pieces" but still buy some more when you think it is cheap enough? I buy more sets now than pieces, but don't necessarily wait for a deal. Do you not only buy some LEGO sets. but also some watches, key chain, playing cards, magnet or even eraser/notebook? Nope, I only keep the free stuff I get sent. what do you think ? anything wrong? Many things wrong with this. I spend too much, have too much, and only buying more. So, I may have failed

What is your least favorite LEGO set?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to CardinalBricks's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Most of my Town Jr. sets and I am not too fond of 7944 Fire Hovercraft. It was a Christmas gift from my younger brother during my dark age. All the Town Jr. sets I had were bought by parents for my birthdays, Christmas, etc. -
It's funny that this topic popped up. My buddy called me last night saying "Hey! I just dug up all my old Space and Islander sets from my grandparents house. We should drink while putting them back together." Didn't think you would

Anything I can eat without physically touching the food with me fingers! Wrappers, plastic/silverware, face, ok

Like many have said before, hold on to some of your sets, if you can. You may one day look back and say "Man I wish I still had that!" Either way, best of luck on your ventures! LEGO will always be around if things slow back down

All right some smaller winter sets! I like them both, especially the truck, more so if it wasn't in that color scheme- 80 replies

Lego 'addicts' and their friends ... How much time/$$
LEGO Guy Bri replied to DrJB's topic in Community
1. I haven't spent much time building over the past year, probably less than 10hrs this year. I do spend maybe a combined hour a day reading or view something on LEGO, though. Sometimes more sometimes less. 2. I buy more than a few sets a year; many, many more. Some are duplicates, not for resale, but how many cities only have 1 garbage truck. -
Sets alone, over 248k, with all the uncounted parts and individual set model bags, another 5-10k

Contest Contest: Pimp My Camper! Discussion Thread

I think I'll give this one a go! I think th 13-plate height is just for the body of the van. They did say you can put legs on it and I can't imagine those not being shorter than wheels -
I don't have any armies or squads, but after checking, the figure with the highest count is the 8403 Race Car Driver because I like palindromes . There are only 5 though. 8831 Tennis Player, 71000 Plumber, and 71000 Police Man are next with 4 a piece

It's really disheartening to see what has happened in Cwetqo's post. I know there's nothing anyone can do, but still having to read posts about those actively purchasing more for reasons, other than for their first time or for a kid, is not very pleasant. I'm trying to write this stfuf as nice as I can... Just how I feel about it. I do agree TLG dropped the ball on this and that this was bound to end up the way it did after people took notice of profit booms of other recent sets, as opposed to the limited edition of the Santa Fe Super Chief in 2002. Then again, that was followed with a regular run, so who knows what would have happened if that was limited to just 20K

More of a love/hate thing, but getting back into spending/collecting LEGO in general

Show me your "I wish I had time to finish all the LEGO projects&#
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Pugsly's topic in Community
Man you've got a bit of a mess on your hands! I see a lot of MOCs for a Super Chief in the works As for me, I've had three projects planned for a very long time, year(s) for the first two. The first, a fuel storage tank, was well on it's way until I got to designing it's roof; or lack there of. I haven't really taken the time to try anything except occasionally trying to figure out what others had done on similar structures via Brickshelf pictures. My second project is a yacht. Not much here since purchasing the boat hull, windscreen, and windows back in early 2012. Like a decommissioned, stripped hull, sitting in a sea of Brick Link store business cards, waiting for new life. This is the first time done anything with it since it arrive... getting a quick pic. The final project is about as far as I can go at the moment. Jet engines for my 7734 Cargo Jets from 2007. The planes underwent cargo space renovations in 2012, but now are a little buried and inaccessible for this new addition I hope to start working on the first two again, soon -
Excellent MOC Devid! Nice spin on a CAT. I didn't immediately think of Caterpillar when I read the title, but a literal cat. Great job on the build

Very cute home. It actually looks very similar to a house I lived in after moving to WV. Love the brick work

Great job building this bmjackson81! You nailed the look of this engine. I've always been fond of the Amtrack colors. I'd take your engine over the ones from the Metroliner any day. Very well done
