I love what you've done with this team! I don't watch much racing, but off-road is a favorite, especially when it's those mammoth trucks. Definitely some great inspiration, well done

LEGO Guy Bri replied to maydayartist's topic in Pirate MOCs
Wow, just wow... Pictures can't do this model justice. I wish I could see it in person, but it'd be a long swim to get there. Fantastic work maydayartist, this is absolutely stunning! -

Probably the Green Grocer. Emptied each bag into it's own pile, an hour in, with good momentum, got stuck looking for one piece. After minutes of searching, getting more and more agitated, through a 5yr-old temper tantrum and mixed all the pieces together. I immediately found the piece, but resumed building at snail crawl. All in all, it took 4-5hrs to build over 3 days. Moral of the story: I now separate pile by color

Discourage somebody from taking up LEGO as a hobby?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Paul B Technic's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Let him do it... Worst or best case scenario: he gets over this hobby; has a bunch of sets; wants to unload them; you get or buy them... If not, then for trying to "discourage", explain what we know: It can be a very expensive, time consuming, and space taking hobby -

[WIP] The Tank/Car Thingy
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Burf2000's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That is crazy big! You say it'll look like a car, but drive like a tank... With that frame I thought, "Delorean-tank" -

I wasn't sure if I should have made a new topic, but since I found this, I'll use it. Well my problem has is I have a folder that still isn't public. I first modified it with only two new photos in early to mid August. It never went public. I modified the folder again, deleting the two photos and re-uploading them August 29. Still has never gone public. While on there, I had also modified a couple other folders, which went public in a day or so. This has become quite annoying and I'm not sure why or what to do...

Nice sea cutter design Sarles! I would love to see this in bricks. Just an FYI, the the 'R' in RIB's stands for "rigid" as apposed to rapid, at least with the way you designed the structure on top of the smaller craft. Still an excellent looking vessel

In no particular order: 40028 Mini Hogwarts Express 40049 Mini Sopwith Camel 40078 Hot Dog Stand 40079 Mini VW T1 Camper Van I guess if I had to choose just one, it would be the Mini VW T1 Edit: A poll for this would be great -
Anyone have a good method for cleaning LEGO tires?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to kevman's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I use a mix a little squirt of Dawn dish soap with a larger splash of scented car wash soap (cherry). Car wash soaps are formulated with plastic/rubber protection in mind. The scent does not really last very long and my bricks/tires went back to neutral/unscented. I've kept very musky bricks/tires soaking for days on end. Now they are like new. I am very particular about foul odors, especially on things I like -
Very impressive build Konajra! I got a laugh out of "photographing just the truck did not work for me, so I decided to build a garage for it." I thought it was normally the other way around. As a whole, it's has the level of detail as your ships do. I can't wait to see the finished product

Excellent diorama timura! I, too really like the temple and level of detail incorporated. Very well done
