  1. Nine volt is not popular, no-one likes it, everybody above is lying about being fans, it's not worth it's weight in plastic, you should just give it to me But like others have said, browsing Bricklink can give you a good idea of average retails for your parts. Some obviously list them at a very high premium, but probably have little to no bites. Best of luck with your venture, sorry to hear the your passion was lost. Nice Santa Fe collection, BTW. Personally, I'd at least hold on to your Santa Fe engine and B-Unit, for sentimental reasons. There have been many on here who decided to sell their collection, for whatever reason, only to regret selling all of it, or a few particular sets
  2. I don't think the title is clear enough regarding what the minifigs, or LEGO, are made of. I think it's missing one word that would change tit's meaning completely... Chinese plastic, maybe? Ultimately I don't see much of a point to this topic either way. Good luck with whatever you choose to do with, or without LEGO, I think I'm going to go see if my sets smell now, I'm curious of this "foul" odor.
  3. I'd have to agree. If a decent portion of the creation, say 20+% was constructed from a manual, I'd classify it as a mod
  4. Excellent diorama odidoma! The details are fantastic, especially the willow tree. Great job
  5. Here are my oohs and ahhs: Ooh, Ahh... It looks fantastic! BrickG's rendering of Bart looks great. Much better wide-eyed than 'stoned'. Not sure why TLG did that in the first place. Hope they are noting the criticism on that. I'm suprised the cat, dog, and Lisa's baritone weren't included, even if TLG only has a mold for an alto
  6. Awesome build ER0L! The cab looks great, especially moving
  7. Nice work zeki! A very interesting looking fire truck. It's great you were able to include dually wheels in the rear. Something all of LEGO's fire trucks are missing
  8. The LEGO Movie theme... I'm very picky about sets that can be incorporated into the City theme. Initially, admittedly being closed-minded about them (i.e. not even considering buying sets like the Flying Ice Cream Truck and MOCing up a regular van with it's parts), I was gong to pass on them until I saw that a few had alternate builds... and the minifigs
  9. Awesome job solta! One of my favorite muscle cars
  10. Sounds like a good theme for a contest 5th pic down, right side of pic, left poster of President Business: Don't Touch MY Stuff
  11. Wonderful build alois! Very elegant

    MOC: ATV

Nice work mifody! Great job building the working steering and suspension without making it bulky. How is it attached to the trike base?
  13. LEGO, oh so fickle Lol, from not seeing the removed I couldn't figure who you were referring to
  14. [Enter something cliche]

  15. I've seen numerous sets go on the "sold out" status only to come back a day or few days later. Bizarrely enough, the 41999 4x4 Crawler Exclusive Edition did, for a couple days. Even though there weren't anymore, it was listed as back in stock
  16. I I'd my plans for the previous year went well. I may have not built much, but I did progressively less and less since 2011. 2014 will hopefully continue that trend, though I don't have any plans on building specific MOCs... yet, but it's still really early. My biggest plan this year (next week), is to relocate my entire collection to a larger room/storage closet at my work across from my apartment. Maybe build a work table for MOCcing
  17. Neat vid Revhead, real smooth animation. The smoke trail looked awesome! Great job
  18. After checking my "bag" on S@H/US, I found that the 8110 Mercedes-Benz Unimog was removed and set on "call for availability". I just did so and the lady said she found ONE left in the database. I'm not sure how their system works or it's accuracy, but I hope I'm still able to get it. I also bought the 40058 Decorating the Tree and received a free 30228 Police ATV and The LEGO Movie poster
  19. I'm probably up to 7 or 8. I'm not sure how many of my new sets contain one, but I know I have 1 old gray, 2 old green, 1 new green, and the rest new orange. Personally I'd prefer not to get anymore. It's going to be a very redundant piece with little to no use. Going back to buying them separately or as a little check box to include one with your order would be better IMO. Probably cheaper for TLG too You're doing it wrong
  20. Fantastic MOC mordatre! It's a great little scene here. You did an excellent job creating the wash behind the jet ski
  21. Probably the complete City, Train, and modular lines and definitely the Simpson's house
  22. 20. - gazumpty - 1 27. - Galaktek - 1 29. - sdrnet - 1 48. - rodiziorobs - 1 53. - Cara - 1
  23. Great set of reviews Clone O'Patra! At first glance I wasn't excited about these sets. Thinking they were only the crazy contraptions I was going to pass on them for regular City sets. After seeing the excellent variety of minifigs and the alternate models for some of these (Ice Cream Truck, Plumbers Van, possibly the Garbage Truck when I see it) I may have to get some of these
  24. Last S@H for the year: 1 - 10232 Palace Cinema 2 - 60020 Cargo Trucks 1 - 79110 Silver Mine Shoot Out 2 - 40083 2013 Holiday Set 2 (Pickup Truck) 2 - $10 Dollar Gift Cards
