  1. I'm impressed! The performance-to-weight ratio of this model is outstanding, so much to learn from this... I would not have believed 2 RC motors would make a 3 Kg. car run this fast!
  2. Yeah, I just saw it in YouTube and couldn't stop drooling
  3. OK, thanks. I'm not quite ready for learning Ldraw any time soon, so I think I'll go with the low-tech approach of printing the blueprint to the right size to match live parts
  4. Can't wait to see it rolling! How do you make those cool graphics with Lego parts and blueprints? It looks like they help figuring out the bodywork.
  5. I didn't spot any errors. Come to that, I don't remember even making any mistake of my own, I find your instructions very clear and easy to follow, yet not boring.
  6. Again, thank you for the instructions. I needed to build something like this today, and I can go to bed feeling better
  7. Looking forward to seeing your F4U Corsair
  8. Thank you! I know what I'm building today :)
  9. Looking good! Surprised by your choice of colors though, expected something more screaming
  10. Thank you! Will certainly need it
  11. I have a few ideas for the next few decades (you can +1 them here)... So far, I've done the BMW R-12 motorbike and attempted the snowmobile (FAIL), the FINSA truck and nothing else. Features for each model are mostly in the air, I'll decide as I build. I'm currently trying my hand at bodywork, trying to build one for Sheepo's MAP... not going very well
  12. Oops, too much going on in the house... /facepalm
  13. Great review, I'd certainly enjoy more of this :) I have fond memories of the 1991 bike and didn't think twice when found a 32007 in a store, best LEGO Technic dirt bike ever!
  14. I'm not a fan of tanks, but your work on them always amazes me :)
  15. Thanks! I've been ignoring pneumatics on the assumptions that they are always very expensive and my old ones (80's) were dead, both of which turned out significantly off, so I'm now trying to learn pneumatics from scratch
  16. Thanks! So to increase lifting power I'd need 2 cylinders, and then 2 pumps would achieve the same speed as 1 pump with one cylinder, is that it?
  17. Thanks for these tests. Would the lifting capacity increase by adding a second small pump?
  18. That's a really nice little truck, I can't see any flaw in it, and the trailer is pure awesome. I can only dream of the day I'd achieve 1% of this awesomeness...
  19. Rolls-Royce Phantom two. 4.3 litre, 30 horsepower, six cylinder engine, with Stromberg downdraft carburetor, can go from zero to 100 kilometres an hour in 12.5 seconds. And I even like the color. Wonderful model! Too bad I'm missing so many parts (>100).
  20. I tried once, not sure it would have worked well, but uses only 2 rods:
  21. That's a really lovely, compact chassis! I think I'll try replicating this from your pics, I'm sure I'll learn a few lessons on how to build compact :)
  22. Wonderful review, even convinced me to add this set to my official wishlist :)
