There is an app called BrickInstructions that looks promising. I've not used it much so far but, so far so good.

I really like the overhead view. The lines look great from that angle. Though I would have to agree about it feeling a little short from side angles. -

I really like this! I tried something similar a while back, but with nothing like the results you've achieved. Maybe I'll try again, now you've provided a few pointers :) -

Well, that took some reading to catch up on what's been said so far! Has anyone considered that the mechanisms behind the seats may be something related to adjusting the seats? Back/forward maybe? Looking back at 8070, it's not inconceivable for PF to be used to drive non drivetrain features. -

You should set yourself up giving HSE demonstrations ... sounds like they'd but much more exciting than the usual photos and death by PowerPoint- 7 replies

There isn't much difference when both ball pins are from the same side. However, some builds require that the ball pins are fixed from opposite sides; that's where the version without stoppers comes into its own.- 5,465 replies

The birds set is brilliant. I'm hoping that they develop more along the same lines.

Manias in building?

I can relate to the stress of mixing sets. I can't bring myself to do it either. -
There is a lot of talk about introducing new elements to the technic range. Is that really a 40th anniversary celebration, not just product development? Would seeing a new remote make people pause and think "wow! How great have the last 40 years been?" Surely, there needs to be something to trigger those feelings of nostalgia. Unfortunately, the things that make me nostalgic about "technical Lego" are not the same as everyone else. And there lies the challenge; how to appeal to the majority? That may well be why we are unlikely to see anything special from TLG for the anniversary.

Great model! Love the details and the overall look. This scale range is probably my favourite.
