  1. The Claas has taken the top spot in my list of favourite builds in the modern technic era. I've not enjoyed building a set so much for a long time
  2. Those rear lights are going to be tough. They have a very thin profile for Lego elements to replicate. A little artistic license may be called for Good luck!
  3. Another "Hurrah!" for the pneumatic hose routing ... incredibly neat
  4. Its a great museum for any Porsche fan. Though I would recommend the Mercedes museum (also Stuttgart) as a better overall experience, with a lot more variety and context to the brand history.
  5. Picked the Volvo up this afternoon at Argos on the 3 for 2 offer.
  6. At least you'll give everyone at Billund a giggle
  7. Yet another superb build! You got skills Mr JamesJT
  8. Hello, So, its a year since the last Bricktastic in Manchester. Is anyone planning to attend this year? I must admit to having mixed feelings about it. Last year was a disappointment for me but, that was due to one exhibitor not showing up rather than a poor show in general.
  9. Nice robust buggy. I may give this a build too. There is always time in the day for playing with a fun buggy
  10. I'll add my praise to the multitude. A fantastic representation of an iconic racing shape. Great use of flex axles
  11. Judging by the rate that 42056 has been selling, I'd say that Lego may have a better view of what people (i.e. the masses) want, than we AFOLs do
  12. I'm struggling to get to grips with it too. Though the price guides are not too much different. It's the wanted lists that throw me. Having said that, they have given the option to return to the "classic" view of the wanted lists ...
  13. Great MOC! Clean, compact design Have you any thoughts to add this to Rebrickable?
  14. Your other thread says you are a Bricklink seller? I don't understand the purpose of this thread, if that is the case. You surely have the wherewithal to value this lot if you are a Bricklink user.
  15. I like the idea of a detailed engine, maybe a cutaway of a classic V8, incorporating a PF motor to turn it and show the moving components. There could be a nice link to a Creator set of an associated muscle car that used the V8. Perhaps an AC Cobra? That way there is something for everyone.
  16. Has to be 854 for me. Takes me back to childhood and building it repeatedly, even against the clock. I still build it from memory even now.
  17. 8416 is great. Only bettered in my mind by 850, though that is more nostalgia than objectivity on my part
  18. Love it! This taking technic cars back (somewhat) to their roots. I'd HoF this for the clean design, functions and the unmistakeable tribute to an all time classic
  19. Yep, I saw them unpacking them to put on the shelf and asked if I could save them the effort They were fine with the idea.
  20. It's available in UK Lego Stores today. Picked one up this morning. Shipping boxes state 1st June for display.
  21. It's in the store at 249.99 GBP. That includes all taxes.
  22. Just picked mine up from the Lego Store in Manchester, U.K. They had plenty of stock available.
  23. Great styling. As someone else has said earlier, that profile in the hood is really nice.
