  1. Please calm down, enjoy the nice colors and stop harassing / picking on each-other. Even if we not always agree on the same ideas, people should enjoy the LEGO hobby together.
  2. There was a review by @zephyr1934 on the fxbricks so check that out and maybe ask him on his findings in that topic? See:
  3. Is 4Dbricks isn't it? I have a switch from them and works fine.
  4. What parts did you use for the 'pit'?
  5. Very nice! A lot of nice details. I also created a restaurant to fit with the Spring Festival set, but haven't had any time to take images. Really nice!
  6. Nice work @Lasse, as always. Did you also attend the interior?
  7. Very nice set and review @Bob De Quatre. Most friends sets are nice, but this one is really great. Really like the concept of allowing for changing seasons too.
  8. For torso stickers it works great, but indeed for legs it could be a little harder, but that is probably the same with the 'original' stickers. Of course for legs UV printing would even be better.
  9. I use Mactac JT5929PM, that is professional vinyl also used to wrap cars etc. It is comparable to the somewhat older LEGO stickers but a little thicker than the current stickers (much more durable though). Decals are nice for model building but are a totally different league.
  10. Welcome to EB Legotux, very nice indeed those (bluish) dark gray sleepers.
  11. Very nice! Looks great. Especially the tiles in the middle. Roofs are also quite clever.
  12. The website is still up and running (but please don't order since we cannot produce): www.ministickers.nl we use a Roland Versacamm VS300 with CMYK Lc Lm and Yellow / Metallic configuration. A lot of clients think the quality is comparable to LEGO, the machine can also cut.
  13. Very nice indeed! Of course the real railroads used cables in the old days, that was the original inspiration.
  14. I always print on PVC (the same kind that is used in the signage business to wrap cars etc.). One popular brand is Mactac, othwerwise 3M is also great, it does stick very well even on cars so you probably used PVC with the wrong kind of glue. (Alas my own machine broke down and as I am also working on my PhD I don't know when I have to time to get it repaired and running again)
  15. Very nice, how many hours did you get for that challenge? LEGO Masters NL is nearing the finals.
  16. Thanks for sharing! Great work. Wish I had the time soon to experiment with, as it looks very nice and working well.
  17. Great work! Thanks, I will probably make good use of it and many others too :).
  18. Yes I know, thanks for not necromancing topics from a decade ago.
  19. In the 12V era the tracks before/after points were situated directly next to each other. Of course you need to think about how wide your trains are as well, but it is doable.
  20. Welcome @Brick Jongleur and @kondor7001 to Eurobricks in general and Train tech in particular. Thanks for sharing. The first Dutch locomotive was the Arend (Dutch translation of German Adler, I think they got their name from the German locomotive). Interestingly enough both were lost and a replica was presented at their 100 year anniversary (according to Wikipedia).
  21. Hurray! Let's toast on Ole with a beverage with a brick ice cubical :)
  22. Very nice Dennis. Both the locomotive and the cars look great.
  23. Really nice review indeed! I have one at school (actually it is not mine but under my 'guard'). This year's FIRST LEGO League theme was also very spike-minded with a lot of spike-colored parts.
  24. Really nice ship. @Supersick_. Would have been great as a real set indeed, especially as it could be either a pirate or a 'confederate' ship (maybe it used to be a soldiers ship but taken over by the pirates?).
