Have you ever wonder what it would be like to fuse Legend of Chima and Nexo Knights? (What do you mean NO? Well I did it anyway.) Now I took three sets to make this little guy: 70310 Knighton Battle Blaster, 70335 Ultimate Lavaria and 30256 Ice Bear Mech. Here are some others angles of the Mech.

Holy Diver, you've been down too long in the midnight sea. Old scuba suits are cool, so I ended up building one, using around 50% Bionicle/TECHNIC and 50% SYSTEM. More photos on the blog. Enjoy. It's pleasing to see that there is plenty of MOCs in the action figure subforum nowadays. The return of Bionicle seems to have an effect on it.

Can't believe that this hasn't been a major topic before. Heck, it might've been, it's just been buried under other things since then. Nevertheless, what is your favourite combiner? I'm not asking for the best one, because clearly, that is Gaardus! Don't deny it, he is a work of art. As for my favourite... Well, I rarely got enough sets from a wave to build a complete combiner. I certainly never acquired enough titans to do so (And if I did, I wouldn't have dismanted them to build it anyway. My titans only get dismanted when I cannibalize too many parts to repair them) So my favourite is actually Bohrok Kal Kaita Za. He was the first one I had all the components for, but even then, I could work out what went into him just from the picture of the completed model in the back of Tahnok Kal's instructions, so I built him before I even got the arms, with Gahlok and Lehvak replacing them. Once I did have him complete, he was just fun to play around with, and easy to return to his unmerged form. However... Lava Hawk is adorable. So, what's your favourite?

(Click for Flickr set) So this guy was built for a contest over at Piece Out and I just really like how it turned out. The plates on the chest fold up to reveal a barrage of missiles, as you can see in the pics in the Flickr gallery. The colorscheme is unusual but I've grown to really like it. Anyway, yeah I was never good at describing the stuff I make. Your comments and criticism would be very appreciated.

Here's a locomotive that I built for this year's LUG display in my hometown: I wasn't sure what this would be categorized as until after the show was over, but I think I know now. It's a fusion-powered locomotive in retro style, but at the same time it looks too clean to my eyes to really be considered truly retro... thus the label "retro-futuristic". I'm ecstatic over how well the teal and dark green work together; overall, I believe the whole thing contains six colors [not including the various shades of trans parts] - dark and light gray, white, dark green, teal, and some black. The whole thing was kicked off by noticing how the 60025 Grand Prix Truck set used a train base plate as the base for its trailer. Up until I got that set, I had no way of utilizing the white parts I had to build something like this. The back end is very clean and smooth, which I like. The only dis-symmetry is the 1x1 round tile on the nose. It would have looked a little boring otherwise! Whee! Looks all nice and greebly, and yet not cluttered. Pointy noses make everything better. Even better news awaits; I've gone and made an LDD file for this locomotive. Download it from Dropbox here: https://dl.dropboxus... locomotive.lxf
