  1. [Datalog:] [Datalog: 0000064//Designation: TK-671//: Assignment: Inspect Integrity Strut 394] Back on the ice cube. Last assignment....did not go well. There was a spice freighter, and a power malfunction, and I...may not have been paying attention to the viewscreen, but come on, the peripheral vision in this mask sucks, I probably wouldn't've been able to see it anyway. So now I'm supposed to wander out into the frozen wastes to check on a single stupid integrity strut. Why the hell are we even trying to build stuff here? There's snowstorms every other day, integrity or not. [Datalog: 0000067//Designation: TK-671//: Assignment: Inspect Integrity Strut 394] Okay. So I'm in a little bit of a fix here. I was leaving camp for the day after dinner when I realized: I left my favorite cup behind! I mean, without that, I'd be dead out here! That thing meant everything to me!! Oh, and I left my blaster too, so I thought I'd pick that up. Anyway...there was a grapnel malfunction - entirely coincidental and the fault of nobody - and I'm kind of stuck here. I can still reach my data recorder, though my comlink...well, slipped. It's alright, though, as long as I can keep up a constant stream of recording, they'll be able to locate me once I don't show up back at base. Actually, I think if I twist just a little bit, I can re [Datalog ERROR, CRITICAL DAMAGE SUSTAINED] I'd like this judged. Mostly I just wanted to see if I could improve on the windswept snow technique I used in Daily Maintenance and do some rockwork. Most of my builds are going to be land-based, I can promise you that much. I'm pretty pleased with how the verticality of the build came out. SNOT is awesome.
  2. So while waiting for Episode two I decided to do a small free build of my character getting the mission brief for Episode 1 from Mon Mothma :) Pihlbrick getting the details on Cloud city platform. It's very important to know where to go to rescue civilians you know. Far away shot for more roof details View from one end And view from the other end Bottom view without the lit up switchboard Standard view without lit up swithchboard I will try to take better pictures in daylight, and hope to have them up before episode two starts,(dramatic music) dun dun dun :) It's hard to tell but the transparent green is supposed to be a holographic representation of parts of cloud city :)t is And so it is updated with blue hologram (thanks Duke) and daylight pictures - which of course makes the light up harder. I would very much like this free build judged :)
  3. Somewhere in the outter rim aboard the assault freighter Dearn...Alliance Captain Partan called Five Squad and Red Squad Six to deck 3 Mission Command to discuss details of a new operation. "The Alliance has learned that the Empire arrived at Bespin and entered Cloud City. The main fleet will be dispatching troops to the lower levels. Commander Piranha has tasked us with evacuation of the administrative levels. Each squad will land a small freighter... Please judge this free build. Thanks
  4. Immediately after the 103rd finished the rescue mission in Cloud City, we were sent to Corellia to investigate a string of robberies that had been going on for a while. The rebel alliance wanted us to look into it. Why, I didn't know, but as long as it was for the better of the Rebel Alliance it was fine by me. After about a day we were able to locate the criminals next target, it turned out that they were mandelorians. As soon as we got there they were on their way out. After their leader came out the back door he turned on his jet pack and launched himself through the window and into the skylanes of Corellia. Hunter shot one as they came out the back door behind the leader. As the leader flew off, I saw him carrying a brief case, their mission was a success while ours was a failure,or maybe not. Modified: (this is the tile in front of the couch in the main room) Please judge this as a free build. C&C is welcome,
  5. Corellia. My home planet. Hadn't been home for a couple of years, and now I was headed there on a mission. Sgt. Logan had put his crew together in a hurry, and told me we would be briefed on the way. My train of thought was interrupted as the video monitor came alive with a familiar face, it was General Rieekan himself! "Good day soldiers, the clock is ticking so I will keep this short and to the point." he said. "As many of you know, we had a base on Corellia for a short period before moving on to Hoth. We left behind a number of weapon and equipment caches since it was deemed to risky to move everything at once. I had hoped to retrieve this equipment by the aid of Han Solo, but unfortunately things did not work out as planned. Due to our recent setbacks, we need that equipment more than ever. One week ago we sent a team with some of our top operatives to facilitate the transport." "Three days ago we lost contact with this team. At first we thought it was just an equipment malfunction, but it's become clear that something has happened. Your mission is to scout their last known location and gather intelligence to find out what happened to them. Meanwhile we will assemble a new transport team, but it is imperative that you provide us with on-site intel so our next team does not walk into a trap. We can not afford to lose more men or equipment." "Sgt. Logan, I have sent you the mission details, make sure you study it well.", Rieekan said. We all looked at the holoprojector as Rieekan continued: "From this point on all your communications will be according to secure protocol. Good luck men." With those final words, the video transmission ended. We looked at each other over the table, saying nothing. Everyone knew this was going to be a difficult mission. Edited image, w/ Lifelites Unedited image, with Technic leds C&C welcome! Please judge this. Yeah, I know about the blooper... Edit: Updated the story Edit2: Doh! Used the wrong unedited image - my apologies - now using correct image with Technic leds

    [SoNE] Redundant cargo

Seeing a Rodian civilian on Bespin reminded me of some more good old times. I once had a Rodian teammate for some bigger missions. Once we sneaked onto a huge Zabrak cargo ship and controlled all eleven crew members. We landed on an inhabited moon, let all of them but the pilot go and safely escaped to Tatooine, where the cargo ended in good hands! The pilot decided to join our smuggling team. Hope you guys like it, C&C welcome and please judge me
  7. Here is my entry for SoNE Ep. I: In the deep of Cloud City The squad with the soldier Wedge09 is tasked to reach a Rebel cell hinding in the lower sections of Cloud City. The squad find the rebel cell but the Imperial find them and the fights began. In the rebel retreat, soldier Wedge09 is the last man to retreat in the technical room. The Imperials are coming... ...and the rebels retreat. If you use lights? In this two last photos, I try to give more atmosphere using some lights. C&C are always welcome, I hope you enjoy my small work
  8. (This is a continuation of my free build story, see earlier builds for full story) Almost there - http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=85637 An ounce of prevention - http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=85976 Sabotage - http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=86135 [soNE Ep.I] A long way down... We'd barely gotten out of the hangar in one piece. For each Stormtrooper we put down, two more seemed to appear. As we were falling back we ran into another squad of Stormtroopers, cutting off our escape route. Our only choice was to take our chances out on one of the landing platforms, hoping it had a ship we could use. Just as we exited the door to the landing platform, Jackson took a hit to the leg. I quickly grabbed him by the collar and pulled him with me as he was frantically shooting at the Stormtroopers. To make matters worse, Stormtroopers started pouring out on an adjacent landing platform. They had both advantage in numbers and the higher ground. Before long we found ourselves at the end of an empty platform with nowhere to go, and a long way down... Just as we were about to give up we heard a familiar sound, as an "Ant Eater" and a small Rebel speeder swooped around the building, catching the exposed Stormtroopers in crossfire. The situation was turned around within seconds. The remaining Stormtroopers tried to fall back, only to be met by a team of Cloud City guards lead by Lobot. Lobot and his team had lead a group of civilians towards the landing platforms hoping to find a way off Cloud City, and their timing had been perfect. As we loaded the civilians aboard the Ant Eater we got word that the Millennium Falcon had been spotted taken off with Princess Leia aboard. Maybe this mission we would be a success after all! Main shot (edited) Interior Ant Eater Although the Ant Eater is more well armoured than well armed, the quick rate of the quad lasers are ideal for clearing drop zones of ground troops before deploying it's own cargo. Rebel Speeder Edit: Updated with close to complete shots (maybe!). Not sure about the gradient in the main picture though.
  9. No guard duty as it was first said. I was sent to escort Lord Vader himself to pay Baron Lando Calrissian a visit. We entered a big hall where we met Lando with a few of his guards. Vader pulled their guns out of their hands just in case and ordered Lando to turn over the Millenium Falcon crew when they arrive. Lord Vader was then escorted into the dining hall and we were sent down to the storage chambers to prevent any signs of rebel movement! [SoNE EP.1] Was that a Wookie

Red Squad Six located and rounded up several civilians ready to evacuate. It’s time to make our way to the rendezvous point on the East landing pad. Upon opening the entry to the main hall we heard a sound "AUGUUUGUUUGUUUGRRRGHHHHH!" "Was that a Wookie?" "Get back, Stormtroopers!"
  11. [static] "My squad and I are pinned down while our techie finishes hacking the AA gun. Requesting backup ASAP!" [static] "I've been a bit distracted all day, Sarge's gotten on me a few times now." (I'm hoping this can count as my 'edited' picture? If I need to change it just let me know.) The squad provides cover fire as the tech gains control of the anti-aircraft gun to shoot down any Rebel ships trying to escape. The squad from behind.
  12. (Previously) Rebels were evacuating the citizens, luckely we arrived just in time to counter their escape. It really was close, if we would have arrived just a moment later they would have escaped. I had taken position on a tower to control the battle zone from above with my newly upgraded sniper. I hope you like it. More pictures of the Corellian Freighter can be found here (brickshelf).
  13. Mission brief: Rebel Pilot Pihlbrick, you will be carrying two troopers to a small landing platform in sector 30T. The area is controlled by Imperial stormtroopers, but a small group of rebel friendly civilians have evaded them so far and are waiting for a vessel to carry them out. For this mission you will be flying the RM-09 Shuttle Transport. It is especially vulnerable when the landing gear is exposed, so try to keep it in the air, in stead of landing on the platform. We have Y-wings in the area, which will be able to supply some air support should you need it. The civilians running toward the hovering RM-09, while the rebel troopers are providing cover against the Imperial Stormtroopers rushing to stop the rebels. Closer to the RM-09, my character is visible Close up of the scared civilians - You can clearly see the Y-wing rushing to provide cover. 14. 3 ABY (38:7:9) Cloud City The Rebellion troopers are assembled and briefed that Cloud City is in high alert. All civilians have to be evacuated as soon as possible. Teams are formed to gather as many civilians as possible and transport them to the main loading docks where the I-class ship is awaiting orders. Narbilu and her team are assigned to the top floor of the city and rush up to secure a young family of three. When they run the corridors they are intercepted by a few stormtroopers. They manage to reach the platform, where the fight starts. From every angle stormtroopers start firing at the rebellion team. Just in time the two pilots with speeders (ADC-2 :: Airspeeder Diplomat Cab – 2 seated) arrive to bring the team and the family to the I-class ship platform. Under heavy fire they manage to board the speeders and join the rest of the refugees. Detailed picture of the ADC-2 The complete set and some more pictures can be viewed on my Flickr PS: can anyone change the title to "Save passage to freedom"
  15. Combining the ideas from Clone Wars Season 3 Episode 18, location from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and characters from Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast My entry to the Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka : Episode I 48X48 vignettes < A Dirty Escape > Once the peaceful floating Cloud City, was now captured by the Empire when we arrived. They set up blockades all over the orbit. The civilians, with the help from the landed Rebels, kept their fight against the Stormtroopers on many landing platforms, hoping to escape from the hands of the evil Empire. Instead of battling the Stormtroopers, I decided not to head on. I was tasked to help evacuate the government officials. While the battle went on at the top of the city, I made a deal with Reelo Baruk, a male Rodian I met on Tatooine years ago, was now working as the head of a garbage hauling company. He also had business transporting garbage from the Cloud City to Nar Shaddaa. Down at the Bespin construction platform supply dock Stormtrooper 1 : Who put these garbage cargoes here ? Stormtrooper 2 : No sign of any life forms, I bet no one is that stupid to hide inside. Reelo : YOU ! Imperial scum ! What are you doing with my cargoes ? My name is Reelo Baruk, and I don’t care what your Empire is doing here. I am here for my own business, and I won’t hesitate to kill you if you cause me trouble. Rebel trooper 1 : Ninja Nin, the rest of the government officials were successfully frozen in carbonite Ninja Nin : Good, I think Reelo will clear those stormtroopers soon. I will start lowering the carbonite blocks into the cargoes, hopefully Reelo can transport them with his garbage ship. Here is the complete vignette : Check out my Flickr Set for all photos I hope my evacuation plan works, C & C are welcome !
  16. (Previously) We were among the first troopers to arrive at Bespin. Our main objective was to put a stop to the fleeing citizens of Cloud City. To cover more ground our battalion was split up and we spread over the chaotic system of platforms. It's cold and windy out here, this better doesn't take too long I do hope those citizens don't put up a fight, for their sake. (Next) - - - - I hope you like it, soon I will post my Ep.1 build, I hope I'll have some more stormtroopers by then. (This build can be scored, thank you).
  17. Link to the first part of the story: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85637 Barely a minute had passed since I climbed out of the maintenance tunnel and into a small utility room before the rest of the team caught up. First up was Jackson, a scary looking Rebel Commando. He was followed by Sgt. Logan, who was our squad leader for the mission. My friend Jak was the last one, he was even more of a rookie than me. "This is is it.", Logan said, "If we pull this off, we might have a chance of getting those civilians out of here alive. We have small window of opportunity, and it is closing fast, so let's get a move on!" We moved along the corridor as quickly and quietly as we could. Logan had instructed me & Jak to ditch our helmets, "The last thing I want is for one of you rookies to bang your head in a doorway and give us away before we are in position" he said. "Yeah, right" I thought to myself, "Only Imperial Stormtroopers are that dumb." Jackson had already taken out the first Stormtrooper without making a sound when I rounded the next corner. He motioned me to follow him and take up position at the door to the guard room while he scouted ahead. Logan & Jak headed up the stairs towards the control room. Just a short moment later I heard the lock on the guard room engage. Whew! That meant Logan & Jak had taken control of the control room and had remotely locked down the guard room. With the control room out of commission we had created a small blind spot so the larger evacution shuttles could approach unnoticed. We knew it wouldn't last long, but at least we had bought ourselves some time for the next part of our mission... C&C welcome! Edit: Added updated pictures, originals can be found here: http://farm4.staticf...db542955d_c.jpg http://farm8.staticf...614ab3fe8_c.jpg Edit 2: Added a link to the start of the story.

    [SonE Free Build] Sabotage

This is my third Ep 1 free build, to get the complete story check these out first: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=85637 http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=85976 It didn't take us long to find them. The Imperial Forces had hidden their TIE fighters in the one of the Cloud City service hangars.Out of sight but still ready to be deployed at a moments notice. We'd seen 3 fighters take off as we were approaching, but if we could put the remaining 5 out of commission our evacuation shuttles could hopefully approach without being blown to bits. "Prepare your thermal detonator" Sgt. Logan told me. He placed his detonator on the fuelling station, and I quickly followed suit. The resulting explosion would blow out the entire hangar and send what was left of the TIE's plummeting towards Bespin. As we were about to head out, both the doors to the hangar slid open. I saw their white boots even before the door was open: Stormtroopers. "Braze yourselves" Sgt. Logan yelled, "We're gonna have to shoot our way out!". The sneaking part of the mission was definitely over... Some detail shots: And a bonus shot of the greebling: Original image here: http://farm4.staticf...73b657908_c.jpg C&C welcome! I must admit I was not very inspired while building this, feels a bit square and boring to me (or am I just bored of my own ideas? ). There are a few things I know I need to do: - Build a foundation or something so the bottom shadow is eliminated - Move the Endor rebel by the stairs a bit so he's not blocking the only thing that's not square in the MOC - Maybe change the color of the thingamabob in the botom left corner to break things up a bit - Maybe adjust the camera angle a bit, a little higher so the walkway is more visible. Edit: Updated MOC, added a few more photos. Ready to be scored!
  19. "We were positioned above the Prisoners and Evacuees, who would walk down with all their possessions, (precious few things at that) , to be moved to a less dangerous sector. Of course, they have to get past the Empire on Bespin first, but everyone knows that Stormtroopers can't shoot so if I were leaving I'd be more worried if they were aiming for the ship next to mine. Still, we've captured a few Imperial officers; they're off for questioning I think. No resistance. Jon McEncy. End log" My entry for episode 1 . I can't really make anything big, so I decided on a chunk of corridor. The lighting isn't good but I couldn't help that. I'm going to make a few free builds after this.

    [SoNE] Unexpected visit

There I was working in the Jabba's engine room. Nothing special, just normal maintenance for some easy earnings. Stormtroopers rushed in from outside, they didn't shoot just stood there. The cowardly Gamorreans beat it upstairs right when Darth Vader step in. I pulled my gun and before I could hold it properly a strange force pulled it out of my hand, slowly landing it on the floor just in front of me. Lord Vader spoke: "You should join the Empire. I feel that you have all the competence to become one of my best troopers. This is your last chance if you want to see another day!" What choice did I have, with my wrench against the lightsaber, I joined ... Hope you guys like it, C&C welcome and yes I want this judged too
  21. Hello everyone. I wanted to get some feedback on some SoNE free-builds I have started. I have never done a MOC much less post it online. They are a WIP and are not ready to be judged. I will also end up changing the names of each after I have more time to think about them. (When they are ready I will post each one in its own/new topic.) The only reason why I didn't make them bigger/more detailed is because I don't have very many pieces of the right color needed in the various builds. (90%-95% of my pieces are built into my LEGO sets and I don't want to disassemble any sets.) Constructive criticism is welcome! Thank you! Name: Mini Hoth Police Stand Scout Trooper arresting a rowdy Stormtrooper. Name: Communications Room on a Star Destroyer. Name: Guarding on Tatooine in a former pond. (Hence the plants.)
  22. :: pictures will follow soon :: the story so far :: I am Nar’Bilu, a blue skinned Twi’Lek born and raised for most of my years before my teens on the planet Ryloth. In my early teens my father’s political status skyrocketed and he was appointed diplomat functioning next to the Twi’Lek councillor in Cloud City. From this day on, we were constantly on the move and I had to say my beloved planet goodbye. Years went by, going to banquets, travelling to distant planets, meeting important persons and the time came to go to university. With his influence my father enrolled me into the best scientific school in the universe and I excelled. School was hard word, but had so many joyful moments. In the final semester we had to find an internship. I asked my father to pull some strings and get me into the Dinoli project. He succeeded. With just a small suitcase, some study material and two other interns, a small personnel vessel took me to Tatooine. We arrived on a sand covered platform, dust was clearing the area when the vessel landed and from behind the dust a small facility appeared. A yellowish round building with a small entrance, showing a Mon Calamari man in the opening. It had to be Dar Dinoli, one of the foremost, rewarded and decorated scientists of the Alliance. He welcomed the three best of their class interns with open arms. Their visit to Tatooine was their first test. Dinoli had to determine what each of them was worth. His method proved sufficient to shift the interns. I was assigned to his own crew, the second was send to study on medical bay and the third to research fauna. Everyone seem to have his own asset. Fortunately I was send to do fieldwork with the big man himself. Together with two of his best researchers we went on field missions, which stretched out to Hoth, Endor and planets further than that. Some missions were done in a blink of an eye and sometimes we came in dangerous situations. The mission on Delrakkin was memorable and for me encouragement to use some of my political contacts. We were ambushed by locals and it almost got us killed. During the mission de-brief I suggested to add a few soldiers to our crew. These men could do area recon and help the team in distressful situations. Some tactical footmen. The internship was over and I graduated Cum Laude. Together with Dinoli I presented my script and my suggestion to one of the counsellors, who I met during my visits with my father. Because of the function of Dinoli’s work he agreed to make it an issue on the next gathering. Dinoli and I reviewed my internship and we parted with the agreement to contact each other whenever I needed a job. First I want to enrol into the army for basic training, political reasons and patriotic feelings. Months of serious and intense training, we were summoned to The Redemption for official mission assignments. I kept close contact with Dinoli and my father during my training. Dinoli called and told me my suggestion was approved by the counsel and that a platoon troopers are going to be assigned to him soon. After the joyful news I contacted my father and he concurred. I asked him to pull some strings, to get me on that crew. The Redemption is more than I expected, one of the most beautiful vessels in the fleet, for sure. I entered a room filled with over a hundred troopers and pilots staring at the unlit screen in front of them. I squeezed in and a couple of minutes later a general saluted his audience. Everyone sat quietly during his speech: “Welcome to the Rebellion and congratulations on achieving your basic training. Your basic training is nothing more than that, it is nothing compared to actual battle situations. Your real training starts today, there is no better training than experience it in real life confrontations. Some of us will get hurt or even get killed, and it may sound cliché, but what doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger. Each of you will be assigned to a platoon and one of these fine Majors. Your Major will escort you to one of the strategic rooms and explain the specific mission to you and your team. Each team will contain eight troopers, three pilots and a Major or Lieutenant. This will be your platoon for the next period. Your brothers and sisters you will have to protect with your life, hold your back and share your life with. When you see your name appear, walk quietly to the designated Major and join him to the tactical room. Rebellion, fight for freedom and take back the galaxy! Names started popping up on the screens and everyone stood up from their chair to get a good view. I crossed my fingers. “Please let it be Dinoli’s platoon”, “I can’t stand guard missions on a giant vessel”. My name popped up behind Major Logath, 4th Platoon 38:5. The screen also said TR03, meaning tactical room 03. Again I was the last to arrive in the tactical room. Thirteen persons with different origins, but most human, stood around a table-screen. As I squeezed in, the Major tapped the screen. A giant white planet emerged in 3D from the screen. The Major started: “Welcome team, I am Major Lyle Logath and we are the lucky ones to be one of four platoons flying off to Hoth. We are even the luckiest platoon. We are going to protect and oversee a privately owned research facility just thirty minutes outside Echo Base. Our assignment will be to protect the research of the Mon Calamari scientist Dar Dinoli. He is under political protection, one of the foremost respected scientists of the Alliance and his research is rewarded and appreciated by both sides. As long as this man does research we got the advantage. Wedge Windsor... you are promoted to lieutenant, congratulations. I will be staying on Echo Base, you will report to me directly. You get a specific duty list, assign the members of your team to the appropriate task. We will be using small, medium and rifle blasters, whatever one suits your best. We have two T47 snowspeeders to our disposal and whatever Dinoli has available in his research complex. Barracks BR03 is yours for the next two days. Use these two days to get to know each other we leave on 38:5:3 at 02 Hockley platform, be in time! In a light pace, me and my platoon headed to the barrack containing a social room with six doors. Behind the doors were two person rooms with just beds. The crew nod affirmative and crashed down in the social room. We introduced themselves and socialized for a while. The first thing I did was send a message to my dad, thanking him, and to Dinoli to tell him the good news I was coming to his Hoth facility. After a good night sleep we gathered around the table, Wedge standing and taking the lead on the duty list. We have four duty types. Recon, patrol, defence and cover duties. Wegde starts shifting. The two pilots are assigned Recon, as that duty involves flying the T47 snowspeeders. Five troopers on patrol, three on defence and the best two scout troopers and a pilot on cover duty. Me being an excellent scout am going on cover ops. Something I spoke about with the lieutenant before this meeting. After the briefing the lieutenant heads to report to the Major and orders his crew to gear up for very cold environment. Later that afternoon the barrack is filled with cases and weaponry, ready for the evening planned pickup. 3 ABY (38:5:3) Hockley platform, everyone is present. Towering on the platform, stands a YZ-775 medium transport vessel. Loaded with material, supplies and the crew’s cases ready for takeoff. Course is set for Hoth just outside Echo Base. We boarded the vessel and strapped ourselves in the available seats. Exactly at 02 the engine starts roaring and lifts from the platform. As the Redemption shrinks in size the hyperdrive is activated, blurring the view to a white blue-ish light. In just thirty minutes the vessel crashes back to normal drive. A large white, snow covered planet appears just in front of the vessel and the intercom creaks: We are only an hour away of our destination. The landing will be rough, but weather situations are in our favour. So be sure to be ready to deploy soon. The vessel will be heading back before nightfall. Listen to your commander and all will run smoothly. Good luck, over and out. All goes to plan and the vessel stands still on the platform in front of an small building welded out of a mountain. The surveillance team, now at present in the facility is ready to deploy and helps the new platoon unloading the vessel. All is done within two hours. With not much on their backs the old team boards and before they know it, the platform is empty, leaving nothing more than boxes, crates and a fourteen men platoon. Dinoli and his team welcomes the platoon, winks at me. He gives a grand tour. The platoon reassemble at their quarters. The Major and lieutenant separate themselves for briefing. After another two ours Wedge returns. The Major is transported to Echo Base. I’ll assign myself to the facility and will take patrol duties. Recon and cover can stay here for now. Patrol, grab a medium blaster and position at these spots on the facility. Defence, make two teams and go to these two defence towers. Always one active and one backup. Recon, take a nap and inspect your vehicles afterwards. Cover will report to Dinoli in the morning. Dismiss. Before my nap, I got a short message from Dinoli, to meet him in his room. I entered the room, Dinoli having a serious but friendly face welcomed me again. We talked for hours about my training, his research and my role on his facility. Soon to be facilities. He is planning to move his research to Nar Eurbrikka. It’s a newer planet, with different environments, making it a fascinating planet to map. He ends his conversation with the note that I have to keep in role and can’t expect any more favouritism. I realize that I have to earn my respect on his side on military field as I did on my research capabilities. 3 ABY (38:5 to 38:6:6) Before dawn me and my fellow cover crew members, being another trooper and a pilot, report to Dinoli in his control room. Dinoli briefs: Welcome to my facility, knowledge is one of the winning factors in life, battle and progression. The most important thing to know in environments like here on Hoth is what you can expect and be prepared for any situation. We had snowstorms coming out of nowhere, avalanches, deadly creature attacks etcetera etcetera. Today we will start easy, just to let you become comfortable with these weather conditions. Five clicks east I discovered a plant surviving these circumstances. I want to grab a sample and take it back here. So suit up and meet me here in thirty. It was a fascinating week, Dinoli really takes the time to train us. Logical, because we will be his personal guard the coming months and we have to have his back and be his non-scientific eyes. It seems I adopt fine to different temperature settings and this facility gives me enough opportunity to grow in knowledge as in experience. The first day we walked to a small bush just outside base and took samples of a living plant, nothing spectacular. The second day we had to travel further and Dinoli introduced us to Tauntauns. A fascinating grey riding creature, horned but very friendly and quick I must say. It took me five days to get those things under control. One particular creature seems to favour me. I named him Bran, after my brother. He smells the same and listens to it funny enough. A lot had happened, we met with snowstorms, blizzards really. We caught a living Wampa. Explored under icy lakes and dwelled deep in snow covered caves. I could get used to this line of duty. 3 ABY (38:6:7 - 8) One of the pilots came running to the sleeping quarters with the shocking news that he just saw an army of AT-AT’s heading towards Echo Base. Moments later the news came that Echo Base was under attack and that they can’t hold the power of The Empire’s army. We have to evacuate today. Dinoli and his crew packed all his research, animals, plants and other undefined things onto the Bi-O-Logic. A Star Cruiser equipped with laboratory, enough storage space and supplies to last a decade. The T47 Snowspeeders, Bi-O-Tow and the Bi-O-Hazard were docked on board as well. Before we realized it, everything was packed and protected. The challenge now was to get save passage out of Hoth orbit. It was easier than thought, because the Empire fleet was too busy with ships ascending from Echo Base. Echo Base was lost, Hoth was lost, so Bi-O-Hoth was lost and probably out of Alliance reach for the next few years. To continue h-8is research on cold environment Dinoli has to choose a new habitable location. The course was set to Cloud City to restock, study his findings and prepare for Nar Eurbrikka. Back on Cloud City, Dinoli reported to the responsible officer his recommendations for the current platoon and that he would like this team on his next expedition. We were de-briefed and reassigned to Dinoli. After a week leave we reported back to Dinoli’s quarters. Dinoli had a brief session with Wedge and the Major. On the top of Nar Eurmount, the highest mountain of the north half of the planet, I started building a large research lab that will enable me to continue my Hoth research. Circumstances are almost the same as on Hoth. It will be one of many facilities that the counsel allowed me to build on Nar Eurbrikka. We will departure the 10th of next month. Make sure your team is well rested, suited up for different situations and ready for an exciting time. But one day before that day came...

    [SoNE] Good old times

I used to be a smuggler on Tatooine before I joined the Imperial forces. Here's a little vig that shows me talking to an old friend, who lived on the outskirts of Mos Eisley. He usually helped me storing and selling the smuggled goods. At that moment we were both thinking, what the hell are the Imperial slugs doing down here ... Hope you guys like it, C&C welcome and yes I want this judged Edit: Added the promissed third picture.

    (SoNE) Receiving the Mission.

This is my first Star Wars MOC! This MOC is showing my character in Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka receiving a mission in a room on a Star Destroyer. Without mini-figures. Without the table. Just the table. Thanks for looking, C&C welcome.
