  1. This version of LAV-25 is equipped with a very accurate and fast laser cannon: the ATHENA Laser System, a super weapon in development by USA. Has been developed to face the threat of missiles, aircrafts and drones. It's very effective and fast to tack the threat (thanks to his in-built radar) and delete them with a powerful laser ray. Actually ATHENA is only a prototype. Lego LAV-25 Athena Laser System (ATHENA LaWS) by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr This version of the LAV-25 is a non-lethal, directed-energy weapon developed by the U.S. military, designed for area denial, perimeter security and crowd control. Informally, the weapon is also called the heat ray since it works by heating the surface of targets, such as the skin of targeted human subjects. The ADS works by firing a high-powered beam of 95 GHz in microwave spectrum. Lego LAV Microwave Active Denial System (ADS) by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr
  2. This version of the LAV 25 has a welded steel armoured hull, 120 mm main gun and 2x Emerson 901A1 TOW-2 ATGM (Anti-Tank Guided Missile) launchers. Lego LAV 25 Tank Destroyer (Anti-Tank) by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr This version is the land variant of the Phalanx CIWS, it's known as the LPWS (Land Phalanx Weapon System). The C-RAM system, has been deployed in a short range missile defense role, to counter incoming rockets and artillery fire. The LPWS has two antennas that work together to engage targets. The first antenna for searching, and the second is the track antenna, that's extremely precise, but views a much smaller area. Lego LAV Phalanx LPWS by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr

    [MOC] Lego RAV "DINGO"

This vechicle, very similar to the British "JACKAL" are design for deep battlespace reconnaissance, rapid assault and fire support - roles where mobility, endurance and manoeuvrability are important - and it has also been used for convoy protection. Consequently can carry less equipments than his competitors. His name "DINGO" come from the Australian canine like specie similar to African jackal. Many of the minifigs in this MOC were used by @paintballman in his CP5 MOCs and then mailed to me, in order to have the same level of details and a solid storyline. The container on the side of the building is hiding a power functions battery pack which powers up the lights in the hardware store! It took me a total of 3 days to make this MOC. I was at about 70% when I realized I had forgotten to install the hidden power funcions cables.
