    I would prefer a good Technic gearbox and nice other (?) functions over PF any time.. Especially when this reduces the price (If TLG would drop functions in favor of PF in order to stick to a reasonable price, e.g. less than €300). PF is nice, the 8043 is still my favorite! But PF is nice for specific functions. The speed and distance LEGO PF offers can never match proper RC cars. It will just not satisfy the expectations.. Hence I expect a disillusion when it will be a remote controlled car..

    What a cool creation this is! Looks realy terrific and works like a charm too! I really like how it functions smooth and extra 's operate at the exact proper speed. Excellent work there mister!

    Great! Excellent piece of work. Design is nice, coloring is somewhat .. well.. technically it is great however :P

    Every time you take an usual concept or idea and create something just a little bit different, but this little bit makes is extraordinary and quite brilliant.. Excellent thinking again! :thumbup:

    In The shops in Holland it is marked everywhere as: "winter village toy shop" No pictures or any details sadly :(

    Truly great MOC! I love the way it looks, love how it works, just like the real one. But Amazing how it is sort of modular with the beetle Excellent work again!

Seller says he has a red version as well EDIT: He does not claim it is his own build. But no mention of the inventor however

    The 8043! Best set so far.. Or actually.. I first build the 8880 (my father in law owns one). This got me into looking at Technic Lego in a toy shop again. And after buying the excavator I was hooked again! Baaaaaad set to start with If you don 't want to get yourself addicted

    Has it really been 16 months allready? When you first mentioned it I was anxious to see the full thing.. and now .. well to be honest; I am amazed! This is truly one piece of great engineering! And the way it looks.. Excellent!
