  1. I recently started living out my suppressed LEGO-dreams, and after buying a couple of stock sets, I've decided to build a diorama around my existing Shuttle Tydirium set, so it doesn't just sit awkwardly on my display shell. This is what I came up after an evening of figuring out how to effectively use Mecabricks - and eventually losing everything after I accidentally closed the window... Obviously, the big brown space is where the shuttle goes, but I didn't have the energy to put in a good placeholder at least.. and the minifigs are also placeholders ofc. I'm still on the fence about the tree design, this is just what I came up at the moment. I'd welcome any feedback, ideas about how to best go about this, but this is my first time trying my hand at this, so please be gentle
  2. We want to move right to collect the bonus on R22 and go back to Q19. Previous: We don't have much information about the status about the rebels, but our intelligencerepurted that they're near to reach the shield generator. So we're trying to move faster. Our team just reached an unexpected obstacle... TG-0222 - Sir, It looks like our intel was inaccurate. This mountain should be further. Shock Trooper - Yes, it should, but we could find a safe path to move cross. BN-0303 - Sir, I just received an incoming message: All the troops have to turn back and move back to the Generator on the easiest way. Shock Trooper - In that case, let's see the map.
  3. Movement: We'd like to move straight down, with the preference being down and right. The Empire had them on the run! The Rebels had crossed back over the mountains heading south when they stumbled on an Imperial patrol. The terrain was broken up and made it difficult to flee and keep ones footing. Thankfully for the Rebels, it was easier to watch your step without body armor on. They were able to soon leave the Stormtroopers behind.
  4. Movement: We would like to move toward the bonus on R-22. For our first move, we'll move through two revealed squares to end up on R20. For our second move, I'm not sure if we can get to R22, since R21 is already revealed. If not, we'll end on R21. Pfilbee Jhorn, oh Pfilbee Jhorn, you came, you saw, you failed to warn! If I live through this tour, I’ll find you someday, you’d best watch your back when the drums start to play! -The Ballad of Pfilbee Jhorn, written by an unknown Scout Trooper stationed on Endor, 4 ABY We live off the land as much as possible, but there are some things that can't be gleaned or grown. When the time comes, every week or two, we load up the "bantha" with fruits and greens to trade, and make the trek to Firebase Pfilbee. The troopers there are happy to trade extra fuel and supplies for anything that makes the Imp Standard Rations more palatable. We also exchange news, and revel in the feeling of safety that comes from being surrounded by duracrete walls and fixed E-webs. The visits always seem to end too soon, but we know not to linger. It's unwise to be out in the open after dark. ------------------------------ Overall build: Base Details: The "Bantha" :
  5. We want to move right and up to collect the bonus on P14. Ep1 Ep2 Ep3 Ep4 Ep5 Ep6 Ep7 As the search any switch to shut down the forcefield lasts for a long time, the movements of our troops getting less week by week. Our squad, as others are getting tired and can't move forward as much as required. We are passing through forests and plains for weeks with, but it's racing with time and the enemy.
  6. Movements: We want move left to Q9, than up to F9, go left to collect the bonus on F2 and use the remaining movements to go as close as possible to the Shield Generator. "It really wasn't my fault. My squad was on long range recon and they told me to find some supper. I was out for hours before I happened upon this great, fat wild boar. Only it wasn't a boar. Just a piglet. And after we cooked it up and the squad had their fill, the sounder came around looking for revenge. There's only two of us now, but it doesn't look like it'll stay that way for long. Lucky for me the other guys didn't let me eat yet, so I've been a lot faster on my feet. Right now I'm not sure which is going to be worse - this mad momma pig or reporting back to the platoon. I guess we'll see. :(" Endor Boar-Wolf by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr
  7. We want to move right to collect the bonus on G13 and than on D19. Our squad have find and followed a path trough pains, to cut off the road. We need to be careful, because these paths are used the native ewoks and if we meet them they could pull back us... BN-0303 - Sir, it looks like it's some kind of a raft made by the natives. Shock Trooper - Probably we could use it to crossing the Lake.
  8. The Rebels had stumbled upon a reconnaissance troop of Imperials. They had managed to shoot most of the scouts before they got away, but not all of them. Now the Imperials were back in full force, chasing the Rebels. The Chicken-walker was coming!
  9. "oh dear..." ENDOR MOUNTAIN CYPRESS by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr
  10. After one of our squads found the SG Switch and shout it down, the way to the Generator has come free. Finally we have reached the border of the base, where the force field has already been turned off. Shock Trooper - It looks like there is no friendly or enemy activity. We should find out what's going on. BN-0303 -Sir, maybe I can get some information from that console. BN-0303 -Sir, I found a bunch of classified infos, which we do not have access to. But there are some accessible ones: The the base was evacuated and all remaining units were ordered to leave the moon. Shock Trooper - In that case we need to found the way out here. BG-0329 - I think, That might help us: Switches clicking, generators starting, computers beeping. Pre-departure checks Please judge.
  11. Movement: We'd like to move one up to D18, one right to collect the bonus on D19, down 4 to H19, right 2 to H21. (total of 8 moves through revealed squares) Edit - here is the recommended soundtrack for this build: The scout trooper's tale: Down by the Lake Distant Stations Firebase Pfilbee For one of us, it was the first time. We were somewhat surprised to find that it felt different from killing the bears. Not bad, but … different. There are many more where this one came from. Their strike team has reached our position. We are certain that by the end of the day, we will not feel anything. Overall: Full-sized pics on my flickr
  12. Movement: We want to move one square left to U11. Ep1 Ep2 Ep3 Ep4 Ep5 Ep6 Our team finally found a promising outpost to find a security switch. The place, Bunker 0225, is surprisingly calm and EMPTY... BN-0303 - Sir this control panel is damaged and sparklin heavily for some reason, I'm not sure we could use it. Shock Trooper - Looks like this damage could have caused by a blaster, but by whom? If you can't enter the main computer, at least open that door. BN-0303 - Yes Sir, Just a minute! BG-0329 - What happend here? Shock Trooper - It seems something exploded. Shock Trooper - There was nothing left here, just ember and ash. TG-0222 - Could it have been an accident, or perhaps an ambush? BN-0303 - This and the traces inside are pretty suspicious. I think it must be a pretty heavy explosive installed properly to cause such damage. TG-0222 - Look! That's all that remained. Shock Trooper - We need to report it and move further.
  13. We want to move down. We still haven't found the switch to shot down the force field, so all squads are searching for it on different areas. Incoming Orders: To all squad leaders. The enemy found the security switch. All troops move on to south immediately! Shock Trooper - Squad! The rebels found it and possible they have already turned off the force field. We need to hurry, they can reach the generator any time.
  14. "This is Commander Ulric, we have broken through the rebel line." "Very good commander. My team will meet you 3 klicks from your position. Keep pushing forward." "Copy that. The rebels will have no idea whats waiting for them. They're finished." "Affirmative commander. This war ends today."
  15. This takes place immediately following my last freebuild. Incoming assault shuttle, we have you on our scopes, please identify. This is assault shuttle Mynock requesting a docking bay. Transmitting clearance code now. Assault Shuttle Mynock, you do not appear on our list of approved arrivals. We’re going to need to divert you to the Avenger for inspection. Negative. I need you to check that ISB prefix on our clearance code, and then consult your list of ships on top secret missions. Mynock, I don’t have a list of ships on top secr- … ah. Mynock, stand by. In a healthy organization it wouldn’t have worked, but the ISB’s been running unchecked for a long time now. Mynock, switch to heading point seven one five and proceed to docking bay two two eight. Acknowledged. Mynock, out. I've got a bad feeling about this. Very excited to share this build - I'm really happy with how it turned out. Full sized pics on my flickr. See below for an in-depth discussion of WIP, planning and behind the scenes shots.
  16. Hi everyone! The annual Star Wars contest on Imperium der Steine is on once again and for the second round the task was to build a planet from the Star Wars universe. I chose to build Endor but I wanted my build to be slightly different, to have a twist. I came up with the idea to have a scene from Endor in a flowerpot as a kind of "Grow your own Planet" kit and this is what I came up with. Now it's up to the judges to decide whether they like it but I'd also love to hear what you guys think! Constructive criticism is always welcome! :)
  17. Finally got myself an A-Wing! I started with the LDD file that posted in this thread by @TheNerdyOne_ and modified it from there. I took inspiration from @DarthTwoShedsJackson's A-Wing's engines, I wanted to brick-build the fins for a more accurate shape, but I wasn't sure because of how thick they'd be, so I went with the new A-Wing fin pieces. I didn't set out to make a specific pilot's ship, I just wanted an A-Wing in a canon colour-scheme. Knowing there was a green squadron I chose that, and stuck a Duros head on the pilot for some variety. Whaddaya know, turns out he already exists! You can also see the cowling behind the cockpit here, instead of the usual wedge piece I tried to replicate the shape with some simple snot sloping. I'm not sure if I saw this design somewhere else, so credit to you whoever you are if you did it first. The biggest problem I had was the lack of parts in the colours I needed to build the slope on the underside so that it nicely mirrors the top. The inverted slopes were either too short, or have big holes in them, and while it's possible with more advanced building techniques, I like my models to be somewhat similar to Lego's sets in their construction, just more detailed if possible. So I just flipped the top slopes and they're held in place by a 11211 1x2 brick with studs on one side and a 99207 1x2 - 2x2 inverted bracket, with brick and plate inserted into the empty space and connected to a 1x2 technic brick with 2 holes for extra grip. It holds well, but the front ends of the slopes have nothing to stop them hanging open a little. Until Lego produces 1x1 plates with studs on the top and bottom, I won't really be able to finish this part as I'd like, so for now I just pinch it now and then and imagine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Finally, here is the side profile. I made the stand to not stand out too much, and have a somewhat Star Wars-y look to it. Thanks for reading!
  18. Hi there guys, so I have finished another micro lansdcape moc. This time its the forest moon of Endor. I have tried to keep everything on a 16x16 base in keeping with my other micro landscapes. Does it look too packed though? I have been inspired by a few mocs already out there (2muchcaffine and sarah von noppenquader) but added a few elements of my own. I have built my shuttle in 'flight mode' as if it is taking off from the platform (with Luke and Vader on board!) However the wings do fold down and it fits onto the platform if I wanted to. I just prefer the composition of the piece with the shuttle higher up. This was actually a lot trickier than I thought it would be and this micro moc has gone through a lot of rebuilds to get it to a stage that I am happy with. Anyway as always would be great to know your thoughts and any advice, thanks!
  19. Hello, everyone! Today I give you a work in progress model that i am compiling in LDD. Based on the Imperial Bunker on Endor, which is key in keeping the Death Star II's shields up, this set has around 650 pieces total as it currently is. It also includes the satellite as seen in the movie. Features include collapsing walls, opening doors, rotating seats, and rotating turrets. No minifigures are included right now, but I expect to add more when the final model is completed. I'd love to hear your thoughts, comments, criticisms, etc. The pictures I use are created via Bluerender, a fast, free, simple rendering program.
  20. May I present this new design up for sale:--Imperial 74-Z Speeder Bike-- Many Star Wars fans recognize this vehicle. It's well known from the Endor Speeder Bike chase scene in Return of the Jedi. It's also appeared briefly in Revenge of the Sith, and more recently in Star Wars Battlefront as a playable vehicle in both the training mode and the Endor maps.It goes without saying that LEGO has released several designs based on this vehicle. I went to the source material for inspiration, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Starting at the bow, I included the usual flap & rod design. It's obviously a novelty cliche among LEGO's speeders, but considering they are the best part in LEGO's brick palette, they had to do.What's new about it is the rods are now connected in a very sturdy way, and this way also allows for a small underside blaster, just like the one in the movies.Moving on to the man body, I included the usual handlebar design...as it works really well with the minifigures. I did fix the top of the speeder with some smoother brown pieces to make it look more like the original speeder. Finally, with the stern, I added two things: some parts to mimic a seat, and a rear flap design. I'm still surprised we haven't seen the set of rear flaps in the original LEGO variations, but for now, this one definitely works.I am very excited to share this product with you all, and I hope you guys are excited to build it for yourself. MOCpages Let me know what you think below.

  22. I'm running low on brown pieces at the moment so I had to settle for a somewhat smaller build :) It was more of a challenge than I expected building in such a small scale. Hope you enjoy it. 23. This is my first moc entry in Nar Eurbrikka so if I do this wrong can someone let me know? Thanks! Marching orders: With my 3 moves We are going 1 Left and 2 down to D22. As a group of troops were sent out to receive supply's from a nearby drop ship, the odd one out gets stuck with the work. Troop discrimination is something that the empire is struggling with at the moment and the emperor is giving monthly lectures on the topic and...look this months guest speaker is Darth Vader himself (He knows a lot about discrimination, specifically age discrimination)
  24. Ep1 Ep2 Ep3 Ep4 Ep5 After discovering the force field, all available troops were ordered to search the security switch before the enemy does. The squads visits all known bases and outposts and found only empty rooms and opened crates. Our team just leave a base at the edge of the forest.
