Hi! I wanted to make an El Camino a long time ago, but I don't make "normal cars", so, I think of mixing some Dragster aesthetics with the classic El Camino 72 SS look. So this was the result. It's 8 wide, room for 2 minifigs. I try to make an engine most detailed as possible in a room 4x5 studs. Sorry (not sorry) to the Lego Purists, I paint the covers on the front wheels and the back rims with Silver Chrome and then with Clear red. the rest of the chrome parts are custom parts professionally chromed by Chrome Block City. BAD A$$ front engine Drag Brick dragster called “STINGER”! This dragster pulls a wheelie off the line and shoots down the drag strip super fast! Running a 6x5x3 spring powered LEGO motor, it’s hard to tame it at the start gate! Just got done filming it on the drag strip. I’ll be sure to post that video here as soon as it’s ready. -

Yes, it's an airplane that can drift! (or rather do doughnuts) But first, I think the video is the best introduction: Cool, isn't it? I was actually very surprised how well it worked when I first tested it - especially considering how bad my previous MODs were.. (in fact, it's probably the only RC set MOD that I've done that worked at all!) It was quite a challenge to fit all the electrics in such a small body, and was actually the main reason why I only kept one of the original functions... Features: Steering - powered by PF servo. Drive - geared down 3:5 from fast output of buggy motor. Motorized wings (not RC) - powered by PF M-motor. Easy to remove battery box - if not using rechargeable battery. Hi! That is my entry for the new contest: a tractor mixed with a dragster with a cartoon style! I amplified the shapes of a real tractor: I put huge rear wheels compared to the frond ones, there are 2 big headlights on the front of the hood... The only fonction of this MOC is that it is powered by a pull back motor. (Also, you can move the spoiler because it is fixed with a pin with friction, but that doesn't upgrade the playability) The anti-roll bar has a real utility. Without, the tractor finishes on its roof. The shock absorber is really useful: without, at the acceleration, the drive wheels "jump", they are not in contact with the floor anymore, so the motor is not used at 100%. So actually, the tractor does wheelies smoothly. That's all! -

Four years ago I built dragster out of LEGO Technic set 42036. I also got idea for another alternative model but I haven't got enough motivation to finish it until now. Last Friday I twisted my ankle and got leg in plaster. It was inspiration that I needed to finish this wheelchair. I call it "Ultimate Biker's Vehicle" in accordance with this biker's evolution: If I keep having enough inspiration in upcoming days I will build other vehicles from this evolution. Finally, I decided to join to the contest - though I am still on the fence, because I need to decide if I want to buy those small tires... but damn, those just fit here like a glove. I am more into small builds recently, this one is no exception. I know, this entry will not win the contest, but maybe will be able to steal some hearts. I just wanted to create a FUN build, which has good playability, and always wanted to play around with my pullback motors. This contest seems like the perfect opportunity due to the wheel and size limitation. Let's see the ingredients: Pullback motor Hot rod Dragster Oversized engine (it is fake, I mean fully) murdered out black, killer look realistic overall proportions (except the engine) Light, as possible Put it in the shaker, and here is the first sketch, I hope You like it. Size is: 27x14x10 studs, fairly small, as some of the real ones. So far 204 pcs, I'll try to keep it max 210 pcs with complete exhaust system. And hopefully it will be able to pull some wheelies, like this!

LEGO is one of my favorite things to find at a yard sale, and I have collected quite a large amount. I’ve always wanted to build something. So I ended up building my first wheelie pulling dragster, then another one, then 14 more, and then a 19 foot drag strip, drag boats, bikes etc. What am I doing? I’m not sure, but I have some videos here on brick flicks. I just love the whole process of creating. I’ll be sharing some MOCs here as soon as I figure that part out. Although I'm not fan of Nexo Knights I was asked to built something else out of bricks from set 70321 - General Magmar's Siege Machine of Doom. Since this set contains 6 wheels I've decided to build something like american truck. It has three axles and long nose with maw full of teeth. There is also disk shooter over its rear axles. I've used just bricks from set 70321 so it can be called alternative model.

Hello All; Similar to this project: is another rat-rod turbine-styled dragster. This time with the rim from 42056 serving as the rotor/fins, as opposed to the 75mm motorcycle rim. Fun project, not meant to be very serious, in fact, nearly could qualify as a submission for our current (TC12) competition But I did want to compare the different pieces in similar builds and how they would preform. Lance's Dragster The second alternate build of LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS Lance's Mecha Horse 70312. The VTOL plane can tilt and spin all four engines, features opening cockpit and cargo bay, folds the weapons for mid-air jousting. Flamethrower is riding a combat scooter and Lance's bot is flying the hovershield. The building tutorial can be again found in my Youtube channel. -

Since I recently got LEGO Technic set 42036 and didn't built anything out of Technic for a long time I've decided to rebuild this motorbike into vehicle with four wheels. It was bigger challenge than I expected. I had to use few uncommon asseblies: replace front wheels by gears with chain replace connector in crankshaft by liftarm replace pair of bevel gears by bunch of connectors - this solution was proposed by Victor Imaginator Finished dragster features just V4 fake engine with moving pistons. I planed to add steering but I didn't have enough parts for it.

Here is my latest creation. I won't post all the details, please visit http://mocpages.com/moc.php/428357 in terms of how it works, details, etc. Briefly, I sought to create a funnycar that would propel itself. Because it would be propelling itself, it would have to be fairly large (enough air for short burst of speed), but at the same time light. limiting the coefficient of drag would also be very important. Thus the ungainly looks of the thing. But..... funnycars aren't built for looks, rather for acceleration... right? Kinda inspired by 42050....but I wanted to create something with an engine sound, fast, and help true to the funnycar name. The drivetrain was incredibly simple but effective. Neutral… and one forward drive gear. This is the gear set-up for most drag racers. This can get complex though, with many sophisticated models allowing a type of clutch that limits slip and only allows a certain amount of torque to be applied at different RPM levels. But for all intents and purposes, for this model, all I wanted was neutral and drive. This certainly tested Lego gears, changeover catch, and drive rings. But incredibly, there was no skipping. This was quite amazing given the amount of torque that was applied to the drive train. This is similar to real drag racers. I remember a documentary I watched a while ago stating that the gears in a real drag racer only last 2-3 races before needing replacement because of the tremendous torque, heat, and stress applied. The goal of the drive train was to have a neutral gear so that the engine (which is from lpepower.com, Thanks Alex! I love this engine!) could first rev up. Although the engine is quite powerful in and of itself, the fact that it was already running at approximately 1500 RPMs before the gears engaged really resulted in the car’s speed. The whole set-up looked like what is below. To explain the picture you have the arrows pointing in opposite directions representing the tendency of the drive ring to want to pop out of place because it was trying to engage a set of gears where moving at different speeds (well, one was moving and the other was stationary) and the rubber bands acting against it. Initially, when the engine was started I had an axle placed in the hole where the left arrow is to hold it in place. Placing the axle here would stretch the bands back and disengage the drive. So I would first start the engine, let it rev to approximately 1500 RPMs, put the axle, the bands would pull the catch, engage the drive ring into the receiving gear and….. we were off! The “fuel” that was used was simply air. The air tank was the only thing in this model that was not 100% Lego. All else was. The setup was something that I had built before, just on a smaller scale (one liter bottle). Details can be found here but here are some photos. The 1 liter bottle I used I obviously blacked with spray paint. Simply cut out the nozzle from a bike tube and used very strong epoxy-type glue to seal it all. Worked great. Thanks for taking a look. My entry for Model Team competition. This thing isnt very sirious build, but ive had fun. Its somekind of show dragster van based on VW T1, but very few thing are same as on original. Those things on the right side are air intakes for supercharger. Support wheels, so it doesnt fly away. Some racing colours. Flat floor as should be for a sirious racer, and theres a difusser too. Claustrofobic cockpit. So the rules say the model has to have at least one function. As a dragster dont have many i build badass "doors" (hope it count), And the steering wheel can be moved away :) (was trying on steering many hours, was close, but it wasnt good and it doesnt fit well in that flat floor. Wide open. The heart of the machine. Big V8 engine with millions of horsepower and tourques. Big rpm counter. Rollcage. A big bucket racing seats with 5 point belts.
