  3. After being tasked by Brigadier Howe to establish a new settlement on Arlintina, Colonel Allcock headed east. Upon arrival at the southwest tip of the island, they spotted numerous coral reefs and the captain of the ship cautioned Allcock that moving closer to shore could be treacherous. So Allcock and a small group of soldiers rowed basic supplies to shore and established a camp for the night. One of the first courses of action was flying the red banner of Corrington. ------- A small build to move along @Ayrlego's story where he will set up a new settlement on Arlintina Details of the island:
  4. I got the Lilo and Stitch beach house (set 43268) on March 1st, with the intent of making it have a back half and fit on a removable modular baseplate. I removed the flying saucer-thing from the roof and got rid of all the new reddish orange from the model, while more furniture was added. All the Disney-centric parts were removed as well, so it is now just a regular house. front of the house The rear of the house. The inside details of the front half. This includes a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The inside details of the back half feature the dining room and the other half of the bathroom. Here's the modular base without the easily-removable house attached. This car is a MOD of 2021 set 40448 - Vintage Car GWP (from Ideas) I removed the surfboards from the side, and altered the way the colors a bit on the back, and a few other things I can't recall. The figure standing in the picture is the owner. rear of the car The car seats two, as in the original set (please pardon the brush fibers) Thoughts? Post updated with real world pictures on 4/12/25
  5. More random LEGO minifigs out in the real world - we're lucky enough to live by the beach, so naturally minifigs like to come aiong too... Click the pic for more!
  6. Hello everyone! I wanted to stop by and post my submission to Lego Ideas - the Florida Beach House. 7. I decided to rebuild and mod my LL918 for the 40th anniversary. Then I thought 'this thing needs a landing pad' so I threw this together. Tropical Landing Pad by Missing Brick, on Flickr

  9. My latest project. Soldiers Outpost I was a big fan of the first pirate sets as a child, so I had to throw myself in a pirate-inspired MOC. Two soldiers are standing guard, the third tries to catch something eatable, while the general is guarding the treasure. They have caught a pirate who has been sitting in jail for quite some time now. It is important that the soldiers make sure that the pirates don’t free their mate... hmm maybe it's too late. Of cause the general is holding on to the biggest treasure chest any man have ever seen, so if the pirate is escaping there is always a reason to come back and conquer the island. 1-DSC03262 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 2-DSC03270 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 4-DSC03244 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 16-DSC03236 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr More pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/137767198@N08/sets/72157693362640134/with/38808853560/ https://ideas.lego.com/projects/51efedd5-a914-4d42-b8a0-edfbd0065b26
  10. Hello everybody, please go check out my new Lego Idea for Lilo & Stitch's beach house! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/708b8674-23e8-4a23-b847-b3d8d1fbfc00 It's one of the best Disney shows ever and I would love it to become a set! I appreciate your support :)
  11. Hi, I wondered if any of you had seen this article from 21st February 2019 over on the Mirror website: "Lego washes up on UK beach 20 years after 5million pieces spill from cargo ship" Apparently, Tracey Williams, who regularly collects the Lego, has a Facebook Group on the subject, called Lego Lost at Sea. Also, here's their Twitter account. I thought it was an interesting article and made me want to go down to Cornwall to hunt for lost Lego Castle parts. They must be saved!
  12. Hi everyone I wanted to share my latest creation called "Seaside Memories". It's a little beach scene inspired by my childhood holidays at the British Seaside. The model contains less than 250 bricks and is built on a 16 x 16 plate. I've included 2 traditional beach huts and striped deck chairs, sandcastles, a picnic on the sand and much more. Everything you need for a fun day out at the beach. The beach huts both feature simple interiors details. I entered this model in to a recent LEGO IDEAS contest to design a seaside themed set. I'm really pleased to say that today it has been chosen as one of the 15 finalists in the contest. It's now down to a public vote to decide the winner and if this model wins it will be made in to a future gift with purchase LEGO set. If you like the look of the model then I'd be hugely grateful if you could give it your vote on LEGO IDEAS. Voting is open until 25th May. https://bit.ly/Legoseaside Anyway thanks for checking out my latest MOC and feel free to let me know what you think.
  13. Building my city for 6 y. ( 7 m now ). I finally started building pirates and castles. The pirates will be by the beach, like the old part of town with a harbor. This is 4 x32 -2 more house to build and square and a market.
  14. Just a small, simple vignette, for positive vibes in those hard times. The soothing music of the waves, the gentle sea breeze, and a good book - what else?
  15. Hi all. I'd just to like share my first Pirates MOC - "Mutiny of the Map". This was inspired by Nivremis' MOC of the island shown on a Lego pirates treasure map. That made me think about other possible scenarios around the treasure map... and this is what I came up with. A reason for mutiny! The Jade Piranha Strikes Again! The Parched Pirate Pirate Pet Shop Warped Wood The Captain's Dinner Death Before Dinner Kraken Attacken! FYI: this entry is pro-Mardier. Captain Ralph was a noted soldier in Eslandola's army. He had proved himself time and time again in their skirmishes against Mardier. So it was an easy choice when Eslandola's higher ups needed someone to lead the Lechuga squadron against Mardier's defenses. Leading the forces defending the Mardier line, Sinbad had once again been outfitted with new credentials that placed him at the head of a squad of Corrington soldiers who had opted to fight on behalf of Mardier. Captain Ralph had arranged to have multiple boats land at the same time allowing them to storm the palisade from different directions. He hoped that this would cause confusion for the soldiers on the wall, allowing his Lechuga squad to take out the Corries and bring down this section of wall. However, Sinbad's troops had the high ground and with such an open beach, it was easy for them to get the shots off they needed to slaughter the Eslandolian troops. Brave to the last, Captain Ralph was the first to be cut down. His troops mourned his loss and bravely fought on in his honor, but with no results except their own deaths. OoC: Special thanks to @Stash2Sixx for donating the amazing custom ESL troops and guns to be musket fodder for my MOC!
  17. Here's a Beach Buggy I made for an upcoming truck trial this weekend. This trial only has a few rules: Use 62.4 wheels, 2 motors for propulsion max and 1 for steering. It's based on Zblj's "Blue" suspension, drive and steering, modified to fit my beach buggy/trial needs. It features 4 wheel drive and steering. Was a little bit of work to work with the bright green from only 1 Le Mans set. Forgot to make a picture with the suspension pressed. Might make it tomorrow (bad lighting now). It looks pretty sweet with it compressed. The rear wheelarches look like they hug the wheels (a stud or so of space left between wheel and wheelarch). The car bottoms out with the suspension fully compressed. Here you can see how much I stole from Zblj. I only changed the type of suspension arms, slightly altered the steering mechanism and placed my motors differently for a lower look. (ignore my Lego tripod in the bottom right) Thank you for your time.
  18. Not sure this is right in terms of what this contest is about but I figured I might as well post my new MOC here since it is a SW-vig. This scene shines a little light on what happened to Leia's golden bikini. For those of you who thought she just threw it awayafter she escaped Jabba's sailbarge, I can assure you that wasn't the case. She wore it on many vacations on years to come :) Leia's day at the beach (3) by Andreas Lenander, on Flickr Leia's day at the beach (2) by Andreas Lenander, on Flickr Leia's day at the beach (5) by Andreas Lenander, on Flickr Leia's day at the beach (1) by Andreas Lenander, on Flickr
  19. Hello! Today I decided to build a coast guard car. I like the result. It's small and easy to build. I used only 31 bricks to make it. Car is build up with blue, white and black colored bricks. On the roof of my MOC I added a yellow surfboard. I will put this car to the LEGO beach. I like all official LEGO Coast Guard sets. I want to build LEGO coast guard ship, helicopter and small boat. Do you like my new MOC?
  20. Another build for ABS Round 2.1, in which the seed part was the red bucket. This build started off with the hot rod, and I then decided it needed a bit of setting and sand seemed like a good choice. After that, a sand castle seemed an obvious choice for an extra use of the seed part. And the car does roll smoothly. More on brickbuilt. Thanks for looking
  21. More pictures can be found here. Thanks for looking
  22. I have added my personal touch to the 31035 (Beach Hut) set and I added the blue hut using the pieces of the 40154 (pencil pot)
  23. Hello! I just wanted to show you my minor (tiny) modification on the City set 4200 Mining 4x4, which i made a few years back. I would like to continue work on this, and change the black bar 1x4x2 part with a yellow, or red one. Might put the yellow longboard on the car somehow. Maybe you could help me out a little! Thanks!
