    Saw the set today at the LEGO Store, it is bigger than I thought. It can be any number of reasons like the old mold is worn out after cranking out too many parts.

    I don't know if Ireland does it. Some countries' customs office will randomly hold imported packages for inspection. Some may also apply duty to imported goods above a certain dollar amount. There can be some risk with international orders getting the "special treatment" delays.

    The Eslandola Council has ordered General Matthews to take Skaford Heights. The general is a master in the orderly fashion of warfare of the era. Their sacrifice for Eslandola will not go to waste.

    I don't think the specifications should change now that it has been out for almost a month. But then again...clients changing specifications and requirements after work has started is a fact of life in some industries that I have worked in. As per the contest rules:

    Maybe somebody found it gave out too much information at this time to LEGO's competitors a head start on copying. It'll probably come back after the set is in general availability.

    587 for Batman. 132 for Friends but Friends didn't include all the entries at the qualifiying AFOL conventions that year. LEGO judges got their work to get out the results by March 31st.

    Sets provided by LEGO for reviews are shipped from Denmark. They would have the European version of the packaging.

    Could it be PWM making the noise? Maybe the joystick center wasn't programmed to cut off power but send PWM to hold motor at a certain rotation point for servo motors and not DC motors?

    Ties could go to a simple tie breaker voting round if the situation ever arises. If it doesn't, then no extra effort required for anyone.
