  1. Fun to watch build. Does it work with real hamster or guinea pig?
  2. Nice. Look forward to seeing it in action. Would it be considered a conveyor bridge then?
  3. It could be more impressive to have 9. You can suspend them from your ceiling if shelf space is lacking. Also save some wear and tear on the ball joints in the landing gear.
  4. The 88000 is the AAA battery box. It is not rechargeable unless you use rechargeable AAA batteries. The LEGO transformer's specs for the 8878 rechargeable battery box appears to be 10V DC and 700 mA.
  5. LDD is fine. But do note that LDD entries for Challenges (contests) are ineligible to win physical prizes when there are physical prizes to be won.
  6. Welcome aboard, Daddy.
  7. Welcome aboard, Jack.
  8. Works great. Looks like the ghosting transition effect between switching pages have been removed. Thanks Jim and Admins.
  9. They are also used in the Power Functions motors.
  10. RLFM is Registered LEGO Fan Media. Online LUG, forum, news site, etc. Basically anything not an RLUG.
  11. Here you go. Some pink Technic peril sensitive glasses to put the topic back on title.
  12. Like this? A modern Stadler GTW also has the engine in the middle like the LEGO monorail.
  13. It was pretty straight forward to get it working with Power Functions. I used the Arduino IDE and a Power Functions library. I am not on any Arduino forums, can't tell you which ones are good.
  14. It should be fine in fresh clean snow. Many Technic builders have ran Power Functions through the snow. Avoid salted snow, it is better at corroding metal contacts.
  15. I would suggest mocking up the layout of the wheet sets first and test pushing by hand through straights, curves, and switches to determine if your design runs fine. If you feel a lot of friction, have derailments, etc. then it's modify and repeat.
  16. Maybe pushing has more rolling friction from the passenger car bogies in front of the motor to overcome. You could model a short push-pull prototype. I made a very short push-pull commuter train a couple years ago. It ran fine in push mode without noticeable lost.
  17. The underside appears to have Technic beam, bricks, pins and axles holding it together. It should be strong enough for the chomping action.
  18. Social media support from Star Trek's Wesley Crusher may have helped.
  19. I see magenta panels, connectors, and flexible axle. And lavender panels
  20. The ship looks supernatural unholy to me. I think naturally a ship would not stay up without its keel. It is like walking around without your backbones. It might be fun to MOC an unholey version for Eurobrick's Brethen of the Brick Seas. Did LEGO officially confirm somewhere that there is going to be a ghost shark or this is spooky speculation on our part at the moment?
  21. Retailers and manufacturers can sell returns, damaged products, overstocks, salvaged goods, etc. in liquidation to resellers who will in turn sell to whoever willing to buy. Walmart has a liquidation program: https://liquidations.walmart.com/about/
  22. Nice build. Was it from this?
  23. Canadian Pacific has an all red colour scheme that looks pretty nice with black trucks and underframe. With lots of red and green, it is possible to freelance a holiday version for next Christmas. Yup, with B-B trucks instead of C-C trucks (and one dynamic brake cooling fan instead of two), it's a GeeP.
  24. LEGO trains are much easier to fix than superdetailed brass trains.
