  1. Good build squeezing in all those PF components. I like that toy feel. Your photos are kind of dark and it is hard to make out the details in the darker parts of the MOC. I think some more even lighting around your lightbox would help.
  2. It might be quicker if you sorted all the pieces and use the inventory found near the back of the instruction manual. It shows you the part (by color) and how many pieces the set is supposed to have of that part. Just work you way down the page(s) and make note what's missing. This is something the seller could have done beforehand to list the set for sale as complete or incomplete used. Not everyone takes that kind of effort on Kijii. You still should do your own due diligence if you have concerns about getting ripped off. Bricklink has good sellers and bad sellers. You check their ratings and buyer feedbacks.
  3. I own "?". I have no idea. A physical minifig census was never performed.
  4. Thanks Captain Dee. It's a 3 stars rated cell by the Pirates Travel Association. Thanks blackdeathgr. Do I look good behind bars? I guess as cozy as sleeping on LEGO studs. Those Mardiereans are mean, they don't tile their floors. Thanks Captain B. -and a banana. Thanks TitusV. Sea Rats like the monkey too.
  5. Good looking rock work with sand green bits. I think the ore car seems a slightly big for only one fig to be pushing. Soon there will be electricity and Internet access to stream the music.
  6. Good underwater scene. Nice use of the Friends hair brushes.
  7. Maybe some cheese slopes can fill in the gaps?
  8. Does your basement have a dusty or dirty floor? Loose particles sticking to the tires can cause them to lose some grip.
  9. Well done. Looks great on the pictures that loaded so far. That is a lot of pictures. It is still loading...
  10. A video might be better for motion type problems.
  11. There is a reason for using narrow gauge. Cheaper to build than standard gauge. That is quite true and a reason my wife won't let me touch her laundry.
  12. How is the weight of the heavy load distributed? You may need more downward force (weight) over the driving wheels to increase traction. This is the case with LEGO train motor when wanting to pull a longer heavy train. Also what kind of surface are you driving on?

  14. Nice. I think some steam or smoke or fire out of the boiler would add life to the build.
  15. It is possible to post videos to Flickr. They can get very choppy playback for users with slower Internet connections. YouTube may be the better place for videos.
  16. It is no different than Volkswagen vs Honda or Canon vs Nikon cameras or LEGO vs MegaBloks. Perhaps the more expensive the item is the more people need to feel they made the right purchasing decision. For others the brand could be their self-identity or god, it can do no wrong. We have an Xbox but we prefer playing LEGO games on the Wii.
  17. You can try to push it out as far as it can go by pushing the brick down on the light sabre blade. That should give you more length of blade to grab and less blade to pull out of the two holes.
  18. Shiver me timbers. The Sea Rats ran into the Mardier on their recent MCRA. Everyone sing with me to :Hands up, baby, hands up Gimme your ship, gimme, gimme your ship... Surrender by dr_spock_888, on Flickr With their ships captured, the surviving crew were thrown into a cell. Their fate was uncertain. Mardier Cell by dr_spock_888, on Flickr But there may be hope. The Sea Rats might be monkeying around with a plan. Monkey Plan by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  19. The Stadler GTW 2/6 looks much like airport monorail. Makes you wonder if the Stadler designers had that LEGO set in their youth. I suppose it could be modified to run on monorail tracks too. Stadler GTW 2/6 by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  20. I think Steve Barile may have done a brick build monorail track and monorail train before. I recall lots and lots of dark bley tiles.
  21. Now if you have a way to recycle those rails into LEGO sized rails that can connect to 8x2 plates, then it'll get interesting.
  22. Shiver me timbers, I'd be off to be hanging by my toes for the accounting error.
  23. Haha, this seems related to a question I asked about going into the red. Good vignette. We'll all have to be careful with BoBS game questions.
  24. Very nice cabin. I really like the smooth look of the roof, shows it is well maintained. Captain Dee, I see a family of three. Plenty of space.
  25. There is an adjudication form you can use to report discrepancies with your account formally.
