  1. Its a ground clearance issue.... Look at ride-on lawn mowers - the one you show is a push along type you can lift and push along the piece i mean is the very front lowest part the 7L in Black (to the right of your photo) below the king pins
  2. this thread maybe: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=67060
  3. I like it but I don't see my wife allowing it in the bathroom
  4. Nice - Big brother to this little chap: Perhaps use the same rear box as it will save on parts and lego used a city part in a technic set (shock! horror!) so its ok for us to do same?
  5. Sure no problem - its a great feeling when someone else wants to build your models! I'm sure I included it further up but here it is again: TrialTruck_v3.2.lxf Can't seem to upload an updated attachment - but basically in real life you need to replace the 12z gear on the front steering rack with a 16z
  6. Reminds me of old lego system 6668 Recycle Truck http://brickset.com/sets/6668-1
  7. ....And finally got round to doing a parts photo: (ldd says 199 and after counting about 5 times I can concur it is 199 parts)
  8. I am speechless - the popup lights activation is pure genius. Wow you even got Nicjasno to make a comment and he's been quiet for a while... .
  9. Black is best... I like black a lot - most my MOCs are black (ok so are my spare pieces nearly always black ot grey) But I think it needs the bottom 7L black beam removing as it needs space for the grass to get cut and not flattened.
  10. Experimenting with different colours:
  11. very playable and customisable model but its just ugly and I have never seen a pickup with rear wishbone suspension first modification: rear live axle... This would be a C-model only set - i.e. whatever you come up with will be better than the A+B ones
  12. ha ! I just right clicked on that with my mouse hoping to spin the model round! Thanks for sharing I've been engineering something similar in my mind though I cannot access your link to the LDD it says that the folder is not yet public
  13. I have to agree - telescopic loader would be a product description fail if the arm was not telescopic - glad to see it is and liking the model very much I can see this one on the shelves....
  14. by judging peoples reactions to multiple models it will give you a better chance of success putting forward the public chocie over choosing your personal favourite one.
  15. Brown or red seats? (i didnt have any blue - forgot to order them from Bricklink thinking i had enough) I have stuck with red for now:
  16. sorry to be a pedant, but unless you are pushing the rack or using Pneumatics you are really turning gears to make the linear motion to then give you the angular motion you need so you are really doing: angular -> linear -> angular
  17. Did another render to show the pendular 'suspension' in action... but got the lighting all wrong.... The bricklink order arrived and now I think I will stick to real photos from now on (I did some at the weekend and will probably choose the best for the entry) down to 199 parts according to LDD but when i count the parts photo I took of all the parts laid out I get a different number each time... So stuff rendering, I got to get to take some real photos as I said, compare to the real thing now:
  18. That is looking good to me.........
  19. Here's hoping someone makes a Lego ekranoplan, manages ground effect and hence makes the first all Lego flight
  20. not sure ground resonance is going to affect something this small - but perhaps put both props on top (axle connector and a 3L axle) and offset them all by 90 degrees but mirrored on each side in the video it sure seems to want to lift - would be interesting to see the change in weight on a sensitive digital scales
