  1. It is a newer version of an existing concept, But It does say in the rules: Entries need to be new (never posted anywhere previously).
  2. thanks, yours is awesome too....
  3. ...its still a vehicle - it has wheel(s)
  4. its perfect in every way! its even better than the one you have on Lego cuuso/ideas !
  5. Just when you think nothing else can surprise you with 200 parts, this comes along...!
  6. instantly recognizeable as a toyota ! and maybe the only model in the mini competition I want to go and build right away!
  7. perhaps an exception could be made perhaps as he has built the model (not with the same parts as the LDD but it still looks as good)....? It is late for him to recieve new parts maybe ?
  8. love the model - if it was a two-seater and non-HOG (easy to do from what I see in the photos) I would buy this in the shops in a flash though I thought the rules mentioned the entry photo had to be a photo and not a render ?
  9. I like the wheels - very technic and never thought of doing this...
  10. Now featuring mini-fig expansion option, replace the technic fake seats with these and add minifigs for hours of fun:
  11. Love the 'look' - needs steering though - lose the minifigs for the competition entry (4 pieces each) and should be able to keep the turret too
  12. Though I love the orange parts but the all black body looks really good! (same happened to me - saw one online complete but with damaged box (it arrived perfect condition) for about half price)
  13. We all knew you wouldn't disappoint but this wow!
  14. Thanks dude, probably took me longer to make that in photoshop than the model in LDD
  15. Simply Perfect and perfectly simple..... some of my sets are gonna get taken apart for this.... took me a while to work out what the switch was for....
  16. This is a competition of 'firsts' for me: First time using LDD to make a full model... First time entering a competition on Eurobricks... First time making a studless model... First time making a model with a part restriction on it..... First time buying parts on Bricklink to finish a specific model ... First time using POVray for the renders... But she has a face only a mother could love, In retrospect I should have redeveloped the cab a bit, but no more time/parts - (I was never good at body work, just chassis) I can't wait for the next opportunity....
  17. Yes sorry, you are right, I see it now - I guess I should have tried to make it first and try it out before commenting.... I apologise. Though true centre point is only possible with the pivot inside the hub (almost impossible to do it sturdy enough with lego) like on the citroen DS:
  18. I can see this one on the shelves yes....
  19. ah yes that is what I meant.... but It looks better the original way you had it because of the pins sticking out - just more grass can be cut this way I think I have most parts to make your model so will one day give it a try...
  20. very ingenious and very useful for small narrow busses and the like, but I fail to see how this can be 'Centre point' steering
  21. something similar to Jeka Jackson's Commanche axles but pendular - perhaps using the CV joints instead of U-joints may save a couple of studs and you could do one 13 studs wide perhaps Like this thread: (and it even has a diff) http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=83167
  22. a bit of an Oxymoron there - "we used the new panel to make the suspension ROCK SOLID" ermmm..... then it isn't suspension and the balloon tyres are doing the job of suspension
  23. I'm not really sure but at first it looked like it didn't and each time I look at it it seems that it could but not very tightly thats for sure or maybe not at all in the end....
