  1. It's basically using two 2 speed gearbox and averaging the combinations with a differential, using worm gersr to prevent power being sent back. Did I get it right?
  2. Than it's okay, just central diff doing its job
  3. Do they rotate in opposute directions when driven manually by the wheels or when driven by the motor?
  4. It's not central diff's fault, you flipped one of the diffs in the second or third axle. This is the MOST common problem with builders with 4 or more driven wheels.
  5. I don't think so though most of my building was more or less job related. But last few weeks I finally found some new steam to make a proper scale replica model and it's going great.
  6. Use the 7x11 frames, they are perfect for the new diff and locks. I'm working on just such axle now.
  7. Wow, what an interesting model. It reminds me of a Unimog, just more compact and more modern.
  8. Reverse the control on the controller?
  9. I think we are overdue with a proper mobile crane. I think a 5 axle crane with the new front tyres from Batmobile and PU would be a very good start. At this larger scale, all wheels could be easily suspended and driven using new diffs and planetary hubs.
  10. I use LDD without major issues. Just rememeber to keep evertyhing straight and not to use hinge align tool.
  11. Can you point me to a link where I can download the RC motors? Thanks!
  12. Use the lever instead of the wave selector actuated by a worm gear or a mini LA.
  13. Wrong. The actuators had too much friction to be powered by the motor correctly. So they added lubrication and changed spindle shape to reduce friction.
  14. Thank you for this update. Unfortunately adding the colored motors as templates and trying to use them causes them to be removed?
  15. Thanks for the swift reply. I will have a look at modifying the Mindsotorms pallette, probabaly gonna try copy paste parts from Templates into it.
  16. Is there a way to create a custom theme or such where I can keep all my predefined bricks and colors like the templates, but as a whole theme?
  17. It's strong enough for car gearboxes or such, but yes it's not reliable with very high torque.
  18. I found this way you can use 65413 28 tooth gear (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=65413#T=C&C=5) from the new differentials as a clutch gear using the sprue from minifig throwing start weapon (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=19807c01&idColor=115#T=I&C=115) and a 16 tooth clutch gear. + + =
  19. Check here: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/173683-anyone-having-problems-with-tan-bevel-gear-in-recent-sets/
  20. I just followed the instructions and added all the packs to my LDD. Awesome job, everyone! I would just like to ask if there's a way to have all the updated parts in a single pack, so we don't have to download the packs one by one?
  21. I don't know, I'm not responsible for marketing. Ask at the website.
  22. Because the gear was designed long before studless system was a thing.
  23. What if I told you we are working on this exact project uisng the motors which are same form factor as RC ones, but more powerful?
